My family's first time here and already we are wanting to come back. Alan is a great manager; friendly, personable, and a NINER FAN. honestly, we love him. We love the loud speakers during the games! The multiple TVs everywhere make this the perfect place to watch a game. We are always looking for a game day restaurant and we tried going into many different restaurants all around Waikiki during our stay (to watch warriors/niners/raiders/sharks) and glad we decided on coming here during a big NINERS VS DOLPHINS game. Going to remember this place as good luck bc Niners won. Lol The truffle fries were delicious! My water cup was NEVER empty and our amazing server checked on us very often and filled my water cup everytime. My son loved his chicken tenders so much he didn't even have any leftovers (surprising since our hotel fridge is stocked with his leftovers throughout the past week). We put our names down to sing but we never got a turn (we were there for over an hour) It was odd that we didn't had a chance to sing but some of the workers/servers did. I've never seen a bar where you had to wave your hand to get the attention of your server to get some drinks when the place wasn't even packed with people. What a hoax. We were in town with a group of friends and proactively booked a table for Super Bowl. After reservations were booked, hubby gets a call a few weeks later from the manager and is told it will be $30 per person for the table (which doesn't go towards food or drinks), so my husband agreed. I cannot stress how much I do NOT recommend coming here. We got a table inside the restaurant to watch the NFC Championship Game. I thought the specialty here was their pizza - but the pizza is like reheated, 2-day old pizza with soft crust and generic sauce. All the toppings fell off the pizza too! I ordered the Michelada... and the server came back and said they could not make it due to missing ingredients. OK, fine. So I ordered a shot of Fernet... and the server returned and said they did not have that either. Went with a tequila shot that was a smaller than average-sized shot. When we got our check, we realized that they nickel-and-dime you on everything. The Victory Fries - on the menu is says "Truffle, Garlic, or Furikake". We order the Furikake. They charged us 75 cents for furikake! Why bother listing the flavors if we have to pay extra, and not even let us know the flavor is extra $$? We also ordered the wings - the server asked if we wanted Bleu Cheese or Ranch. We got ranch - which they charged 75 cents for! I also ordered an extra ranch- and it was a tiny tiny cup of ranch (less than 1oz)... and they charged us $2 for it! Also, they tried to be slick and charged us for the Michelada and Fernet shot that they did not even have. And I swear the server gave us an eye-roll for even asking her to remove those phantom drinks from the check. Anyway, so many other places you could go that don't add all these random upcharges and fees (2% credit card fee too!). Guess we could have paid cash, but they probably would have charged us for having to count it. One star... but only because of the nice TVs. read more

I always tell customers to stay clear of Skybox. Their bartenders never know how to make a decent cocktail, so I ALWAYS order beer if I step foot into that place. We went for karaoke on Friday night for one song, and yet again Skybox dropped the ball. The manager (I'm assuming was manager) seemed to have a little attitude at the front door. Our server was very short with us and seemed like she hated everything about that Friday night. And to top it all off, as I was walking by the kitchen from the bathrooms, I saw the kitchen staff ripping their vape behind the line. Real classy. I will never be stepping into Skybox again. And future notice for all other guests-Skybox and ShoreFyre are owned by the same person. If they are letting this slide at the sports bar, I can't even imagine what they let slide at ShoreFyre as they are also known in Waikiki for letting underage (under 21) girls in during club nights.
