    Four ways - to go.

1949 and some Greek dude in Cincinnati starts Skyline Chili. I hadn't realized that the Greeks are chili makers, they like lemons too much and this stuff has spaghetti noodles inside. I heard about the noodles but I didn't see it working in the chili, so I scratched at my head and wondered a bit then I went to check it out. Then It Couldn't Happen Here (Sinclair Lewis) happened, it was in my clutches and I couldn't put it down so I sent a minion to pick it up and he's asking me "how many ways"? and I've no friggin clue what he's asking me about. It's akin to the Waffle House sounding options of One Way All the way up to Five Ways, it's about adding onions or beans and cheese and such. but more on that later. I lived just over the Ohio River in Kentucky (Covington), they had a weird smokey spaghetti chili, it was because "it's the South" but it's actually not, it's the Midwest, a Southern Living Classic they said, "scuttlebutt" I say. Mustard on watermelon, potato salad in gumbo, those cowpokes do some weird combinations I tell ya - but to each his own. For me, I didn't enjoy the concoction of textures, the chili gravy was very wet and had no foothold to hang on to the sauce/gravy of the chili. I'm not a huge traditionalist, but ground meat, beans, celery, garlic and spices are the basics and I'm not adversity slipping a wildcard or two into the mix but the spaghetti just doesn't fit for me. The shredded cheese was waxy to me and didn't (or couldn't) melt at all, but this was a takeout order so no penalty. Oyster crackers on the side didn't make sense because they're quite dry, sorta like the cheese, but once I to the sauce/gravy they become mush.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon I expected more of a fast casual experience, but got seated with a server, ok fine. Server was excellent, no complaints there The food is incredibly mediocre and extremely expensive for what you get. I took my wife and mother in-law to eat lunch. We got 6 hot dogs (had to order more because they are super small dogs, only a couple inches at most), a chili 4 ways, 3 sodas and a dessert and after tipping I paid like $62. I will not be back. This is fast food attempted to be promoted as upscale.

I finally got to try this restaurant after hearing all about it for years. Food and service are amazingly good. I need to buy some of their canned chili for home since I don't live that close to Lakewood Ranch. But, when I get the chance, I plan on getting back to this location to try the hot dogs and\or baked potatoes.

Great food and service. Reminds me of home anytime I'm visiting. If you know, you know.

Home away from home! As an Ohioan skyline has a Home hearty feel to it. I took my date to have her try a cheese Coney for the first time last week. If you've never been to a skyline chili, be prepared! It's not the same chili you get from Wendy's. You will never have a bowl of just their chili, that is a Deathwish! You will have a sweet, saucy taste added to either a hotdog and or pasta, all of this is loaded with cheese, and it is quite the experience! This crew was amazing! 9.8! Food is always a 10! Can't wait to go back! Who Dey and thank you! Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal 9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this 9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say 6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after try one

I was introduced to Skyline chili and couple of years ago. I've visited it a couple times. The food is consistent and on point to the skyline chili brand. For those who cannot get with the special flavors of the chili, don't go. For those of us who enjoy it we will continue to support the restaurant

This one is EXACTLY like any Skyline you would find in Cincy. The real deal. We need more of these in the South.

Their chicken is better than chic fil a and that honey mustard is soooo good. One thing I wish they brought back was the sliced apples and the dessert dip with nuts. It was amazing! A unique PDQ treat. 4 stars. I'd go back. Service: Was friendly and helpful. Can't expect too much for fast food other than a smile and help when needed. Ambiance: Fast food with a better inside. Two choose your own soda pop and flavor machines. Coke for the win! No one likes Pepsi, good choice PDQ. Also, they had TV's who knew. You can order yourself at the kiosk or go to the counter. And they have a nice handwashing station.

Not sure if this should be a 3 or 4 start rating. Ugh. Okay, let's get this out…read more Service is good. For the most part they are friendly and kind. A few times the person handing us our food in the drive though seems to be in such a rush that they forget items such as our drinks or sauces. Every now and then, the cashier is too occupied by the other staff working behind them while taking our order that they do not hear me. This causes them to ask me to repeat myself. A handful of times the cycle repeats itself 2-3 times before they hear me. Food comes out quickly, even when my order comes with zucchini fries which I know takes just a little longer to prepare. Which it does most of the time. The fries are not my favorite. No matter what time of the day we visit, to me, the fries taste like they have been refried multiple times. They are crunchy throughout, not crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The taste is off as well. The nuggets are a favorite with us, so are the tenders. I don't mind the sandwiches. Just every now and then the breading seems over crunchy which cause the ends/edges to poke and hurt the roof of my mouth. The sauces, though. So. Good 17.02.2025

I ordered pick up from this Cava location at 7pm on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was ample parking, including 2 dedicated spots to picking up food from Cava! I received text updates, so I knew my order was ready and went in to retrieve it. The restaurant was pretty empty and my food was placed in a bag on the pick-up shelf, so I wouldn't have to wait in the line, even though it was short - super convenient! It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that I didn't recieve the pita chips I ordered, even though it was listed on my bag. The food itself was delish. Fresh flavours and the lamb was very juicy.

Customer Service Is Absolutely Terrible - save yourself the aggravation and stay away!…read more I've never experienced customer service this careless and unprofessional at a restaurant. I called ahead specifically to place an order and make things easier, but the employee who answered the phone immediately told me to "order it online." I was driving at the time, so that wasn't an option. She then rushed me through the order and sounded like she couldn't wait to get me off the phone. When I asked when the order would be ready, she simply said, "Not very long." No actual time. Nothing useful. I asked if she needed my name for the order, and she said, "We'll figure it out when you get here." I also asked if I could provide payment information over the phone and was told, "Pay it when you get here." Since someone else was picking up the food for me, this created a completely unnecessary inconvenience. The entire reason I called ahead was to place the order, know when it would be ready, and have someone pick it up for me without having to stand around waiting. And then it got even worse. The person picking up my food arrived approximately 45 minutes after I placed the order and was told, "WE DON'T HAVE YOUR ORDER!!!" Are you kidding me? So I called ahead, placed the order, was given virtually no useful information, couldn't pay in advance, she wouldn't take my name for the order, and then 45 minutes later the person I sent to pick it up was told they didn't even have the order. That is an unbelievable failure in basic customer service and order management. At this point, I have to seriously question whether the employee even properly entered the order in the first place. If your system doesn't provide customers with a pickup time, doesn't allow payment over the phone, doesn't take a name for the order, and then can't even locate the order when someone arrives to pick it up, what exactly is the point of calling ahead? The employee's attitude from the very beginning made it seem like my business was an inconvenience. Unfortunately, the experience proved that impression was justified. Management needs to seriously address the way customers are being treated. Good food doesn't make up for terrible service, poor communication, and an order that apparently disappears into thin air. If this employee doesn't want to deal with customers, perhaps she should be moved to a position where she doesn't have to or just be fired! Because based on this experience, she certainly doesn't seem interested in helping them. I will not be calling ahead again, and based on this experience, it's unlikely that I will give this amateur hour show another penny of my money! Shameful!
