    Burrito tiny

Friendly and fast service, but the sizes of the burritos are tiny... a bit larger than the crackers

My flight was out of Concourse A, and Skyline was out of Concourse B. Well, after all the recent Chinese fried rice, I needed the exercise, so I decided to walk instead of taking their People Mover, TransitTram. Next, I ordered the chili with onions. At first, I asked for beans, but I passed on that idea after considering I was on a four-hour flight. Beans + turbulence isn't a winning combination. I applied lessons learned from flying to Korea after eating eight White Castle sliders. Yeah, never again. So, I didn't get his whole story, but the gentleman working at Skyline Chili could sign. It was the essential American Sign Language (ASL), but it was awesome. Keith Williams was his name, and he didn't assume I could hear since I could talk with a slight accent. Most hearing people connect speech with hearing. Indeed, it was a nice start to my trip. I had zero complaints about the meal and service. Thank you, Skyline CVG!

First time coming to one of these, and it was eh. I had the option to try any of the food court options in CVG airport, but wanted to try something new. I never heard of Skyline Chili and got their Original Deluxe Burrito. The food was hot and fresh, but eating it was a pain with just a fork. Also, it just didn't feel filling enough. I don't really eat hot dogs, but maybe I should have tried the Coney's they had here. If I have the chance, I might try this place one more time at some point.

Had to stop and try the legendary skyline chili before I left Cincinnati! It was pretty good really. I'd eat there again. Love the chili cheese coney with onions and the chili cheese fries! The gentleman behind the counter was an absolute delight!

Breakfast Way! Hash brown medallions with Cincinnati chili and cheese

The best place at CVG for breakfast. Lines are short and fast. If you are hungover you can order lunch type food. But also if you are hungover you can order delicious breakfast. It's very Cincinnati. I'm so glad it's back at CVG after so long. The other day I had the Breakfast Way. For Cincinnatians - a three way with hash brown medallions vs spaghetti. For others - hash brown medallions with chili and cheese. Completely nutrient deficient and completely delicious. I got my food about ten minutes faster than my friend at Chick Fila. And it was cheaper and bigger.

Mmm'kay so we now have objective evidence to support what we've always known in our hearts all these years: 1. Skyline is better than Gold Star and, furthermore, 2. while it was always tempting to stop at the CVG Gold Star to get a "hit" of Cincinnati chili, our better judgment kicked in, and we were left with a feeling of emptiness and we walked right by. So here's the meat of the news: Gold Star has closed at CVG and Skyline is NOW OPEN in its place. (**cue Halleujah choruses**) So here's the guide for everyone who's going to contemplate this scenario: If your flight is inTerminal A, you can definitely still make it Skyline before the flight as long as you have at least 20-45 minutes before boarding. If your flight is from Terminal A (Frontier, United, Southwest, Allegiant, Alaska, Sun Country Air Canada) - from security take the Tram to Terminal B (2-5 mins depending on how long until tram arrives) - go to skyline (5-15 mins depending on the line and what you order) - backtrack to Terminal A (~5-10 mins; take tram if it's there by chance, otherwise walk) Keep in mind, there are other "decent" food options in Terminal A -- (Graeter's, Moerlin Malt House (Beer + Pub), Braxton (Beer + Pub), Frisch's (Diner), Over-the-Rhine Market (General Store) -- BUT, ill say what we all know: none of these hit like Skyline. You know you're gonna take the risk to miss your flight to go to Skyline so just go already. (Also: just stating the obvious, but shouldn't they also sell canned Skyline for those with time limitations?)

    love the amount of cheese!

When I get back to the Cincy area, I always try to get to my favorite: Skyline Chili. Transiting at the airport, I was pleased to see a Skyline franchise! Friendly fast service....but at a price. My spaghetti was soggy and the chili tasted like it had been sitting a while. Positive that the bag of shredded cheese was it's usual huge self, but if it were me again, I'd wait until I could eat at a branch in town. Food court ambience--zero.

3way in the lounge (so good)

Finally! After flying CVG for 40+ years, they finally got a Skyline. It is in the same space in B Terminal as the Gold Star. I enjoyed my 3way. Same great flavors. I saw another review, they now have cans of chili for sale and some other merch. Great service, friendly and efficient.

This is basically bar food in an expensive looking setting. We both wanted to order their chicken wings, but were told that they only had 10 wings left. Which was puzzling since the place was relatively empty. And speaking of that, we made a reservation online thinking the place would be hopping for dinner. Not so much. I had the taco el pastor. It was good but was basically pulled pork on a corn tortilla with bbq sauce. I also ordered the Brussel sprouts which would have been really good if they weren't drowning in white sauce. I recommend asking for all sauces on the side, btw. TVs on the wall all around the dining room are tuned into blooper reels and trivia. All in all, the menu wasn't intriguing enough for us to want to go back.

Rarely does a restaurant manage to feel like a neighborhood secret while delivering a high-caliber…read moreculinary program, but Sanctuary Social has mastered that delicate balance. Tucked away in Villa Hills, it has quickly established itself as a "hidden gem" that defies traditional categorization--part sophisticated lounge, part high-end bistro, and part soulful community hub. The design of Sanctuary Social is its first masterstroke. It captures the paradox of being "upscale-casual"; you'll find plush velvet sofas and warm, modern lighting that evoke a high-end city lounge, yet the energy remains as approachable as a favorite dive bar. The addition of live music on the weekends elevates the space from a mere eatery to a destination, providing a vibrant backdrop that feels both intimate and celebratory. It is a "sanctuary" in the truest sense--a place to disappear into for a few hours. The kitchen leans into "Elevated American" with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients and shareable plates that encourage conversation. Small Plates & Boards: The Artisan Meat and Cheese Board is a standout, curated with a level of intentionality often reserved for dedicated charcuterie houses. For a more modern bite, the Fresh Tomato Bruschetta with whipped burrata is a bright, creamy essential. The "Handhelds": The Wagyu Brisket Sammie and Wagyu Brisket Elote Tacos showcase the kitchen's ability to take casual comfort food and apply premium techniques. The brisket is consistently tender, balanced by the acidity and creaminess of the elote corn salsa. Craft Cocktails & Mocktails: The bar program is formidable. Their seasonal cocktails (like the Blackberry 75) are balanced and inventive. For those seeking non-alcoholic options, the Blackberry Lemonade Spritz or the Jalapeño Lemonade offers a complex profile that far exceeds standard soda fare. Sanctuary Social is the kind of place that Northern Kentucky has been craving: a spot that respects the craft of food and drink without the stiffness of formal dining. It's a "destination" restaurant hidden in plain sight, offering A1 surroundings and a menu that hits its mark with precision. If you haven't made the drive yet, you are indeed missing out on one of the region's most compelling new additions.

The building is beautiful as is the interior. There are lots of little rooms and the tables are pretty tight. It was a bit difficult for wait staff to get around, but the service was still attentive. Two of us ordered the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich w/ fries. That darn sandwich was delicious!! It was sticky as all get out, but it was delicious! I'll apologize now; my pic is so blurry I hesitate to post it, but I'm going to anyway. The other person having the Pork Tenderloin also enjoyed it. Mark ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown. He said it was loaded with ham and it was salty. He finished every bite, but he did say he wouldn't order it again. One person loved her Cod (she didn't eat the bread) and another said the shrimp and grits were very good. The menu has lots of options. I mentioned we would be happy to come back sometime for dinner. We bought some chocolate cookies (they are by the hostess podium) on the way out. They had a nice chocolate and salt flavor, but should have had more chips.

I saw a few reviews that referenced how good the food was at Boone Kitchen (at Marriott). I was of course quite skeptical, but I hand them five stars for having such an amazing selection like a fusion bowl, boom-boom shrimp, garlic shrimp endive lettuce wrap, an Ahi poké appetizer and they also have favorites like wings (that looked absolutely delicious) and then if you have kids: pizza everybody loves pizza, right? Equally impressive was the martini I had when somebody serves it to me in a glass that looks like it came out of my grandma's cabinet circa 1932. I'm impressed. Sea Bass was my order and they nailed it. Again, you have to remember you are in a lobby of a hotel so I give the Seabass five stars. Probably more impressive than the food was the service! I walked in and the bar was completely empty. I went to my room, took a shower and came back. The bar was packed and there's one bartender she was serving the entire bar and four tables with drink drinks AND food. Shout out to JENNIFER!! She's the amazing ringleader of a circus! Alone.

My first visit was a takeout order of breakfast tacos that were pretty tasty. Based on that, I was hopeful for a good dine-in experience when I stopped by again recently with my mom for a late breakfast. This is a counter-service spot where you order at the register, grab a number, and seat yourself while they bring the food out. We arrived around 10 AM and it was packed. Despite the crowd, the line moved quickly, but that's where the efficiency ended. Most of the open tables were dirty, so we had to clean one ourselves with napkins. Not ideal. Then came the confusion around drinks. We never received cups after ordering -- despite asking three separate times. First, we were told the cups would come out with our food. When they didn't, we asked the food runner, who said he'd check on it but just disappeared into the kitchen. Finally, we had to go back to the counter a third time just to get cups for the fountain machine. That's a lot of back and forth for something basic. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. I ordered two bacon breakfast tacos and a side of smashed potatoes. The tortillas were so hard they were practically inedible -- I ended up tearing pieces off and eating just the egg, bacon, and cheese filling. The potatoes were bland and also cold, like they'd been sitting out too long. It's disappointing because my first experience was solid. I'm hoping this was just an off day, but for nearly $40, this meal didn't feel worth it. The staff seemed overwhelmed and stretched thin, with just a handful of employees trying to juggle too many tasks during a rush. Cleanliness, service, and food temperature all suffered as a result. For now, this location won't be high on my list to return to. There are better breakfast spots in town that don't come with this much hassle.
