Probably one of the worst meals I've ever had. The food had absolutely no taste. The chili was watery. Don't waste your time stopping here despite being featured on Travel Channel, Food Network and Cooking Channel. I don't get it!! Server was excellent!

Historic spot with serious charm, definitely worth the visit. The old-school diner vibe and history of the place make it feel like a true Cincinnati institution. The 5-way was a giant portion, with a perfect mountain of cheese...cuz let's be honest, some of us are in it for the cheese. In general, classic Cincinnati goodness. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want it to be. Our server was very nice and welcoming. Definitely would come back to explore more of the menu, especially the sandwiches.

First time here. Prices reasonable. Doubledecker sandwich was good on rye. Had turkey and ham because roast beef was well done. Greek salad was giant and good. Mt wife got the 3 way and it was good; different then skyline or Goldstar. Drinks were 3 dollars and had to get own refills. Service was grouped so our waitress wasn't assigned to us. Crowded at lunch.

In town for a wedding; had to go to my personal Cincinnati staple!! Everything looks the same, definitely newer paint to add a more lively color. You still seat yourself in any open table or booth. The wait staff comes around with menus and taking drink orders. Our waitress came back and took our breakfast orders. I had the meal deal with 3 eggs instead of two. My parents had essentially the same but in a bowl. No special gluten free menu, breakfast is pretty standard so that was easy. The chili still fills the air with its pleasant aroma. It still has the charm from when I first went for the first time fifteen years ago!! The daughter of the founder runs the restaurant now. She was very appreciative of my stories about my history with Camp Washington Chili. I will continue to go. I will continue to bring people there who haven't been. I miss going here as often as I used to. If and when I move back I will for sure be coming back more. Awesome place!!

My first experience at Camp Washington Chili! Smoke free. Adjacent free parking. Although they're very busy (maybe because it's Chili week?) there was seating available. The server was prompt and knowledgeable. I ordered the "513 Melt" ... a grilled cheese with goetta and chili! It was out of this world! My friend ordered the 5 way, and it was HUGE, and delicious!

My first time trying Cincinnati chili which I have been looking to do for a few years. I was not disappointed! Tasty as can be with a bit of heat that builds as you consume. Not sure what's in the spice but it is distinctly different than other chilies I have had. Great service with super fast and friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices with good sized portions. Clean with a great nostalgia feel and easy parking. Overall fun and fantastic visit. Would recommend if you're in the area!

This is a classic hot dog in Cincy. Set in an old school diner vibe. Delicious every time. Great breakfasts. The sauce is the star. Get a coney or a chili Mac both outstanding. The friendliest family service! Easily my favorite spot to grab food in the city!

Not my favorite chili in Cincinnati but mighty tasty. Number of years ago I took home a gallon of their frozen chili. I was in town for chili week and I scarfed down a juicy 3-way. I didn't ask for it but they ladle it on heavy. The MELT looked tasty too. They keep the place spic and span. Friendly service keeps you coming back and open 24 hours helps too.

While visiting Cincinnati, we made it an emphasis to try at least two chili spots. Camp Washington Chili is minutes away from the Cincinnati Museum Center and the museum allows outside food. So we ordered take-out to have as lunch at the museum. Our order for two adults and two young children were 513-way, chili melt, and French fries. The 513-way came with goetta, onion, beans, cheese, spaghetti. This was a good choice to check off both chili and goetta. The chili melt was a mess and likely one of the few times in which we had a sandwich with knife and fork. Both items were very hearty and would easily knock you out with food coma. Worth a try but grab a coffee afterwards or take a nap!

I don't know what the controversy is about Cincinnati-style chili. I love it! I've grown up eating other chili brands, but wanted to try something different on our recent trip. Since it's been open since 1940, this is one to try! They even have a James Beard award for being a regional classic. It is a fairly small building. We came around noon on a Thursday and the parking lot and all the seats were full. But, the servers were great and everyone got their orders quickly. I had the chili 5-way and I truly appreciated that they offered small or regular-size orders. The small size was plenty. This is a perfect stop to add to your Cincinnati bucket list.

I can now check Camp Washington Chili off from Cincinnati restaurants I wanted to try. The restaurant had a cute diner feel and the service was pretty good. Unfortunately, my meal was inedible. The chili on top wasn't bad but the spaghetti noodles were so overcooked and mushy that I took a few bites and was finished. Now that I have checked them off my list, I can confidently say I won't be returning.

A MUST stop on any trip to Cincinnati. Love the atmosphere, the service and best of all the food. Kudos to Johnny for building such a famous establishment.

The biscuits were very good but also a bit buttery greasy for our taste. One was enough (we split it). I did take the rest home and add some eggs to it for breakfast which was good! The burger was pretty good. Nice and salty. Not dripping with grease. Soft bun! The fries were decent but not my preferred style. I like fresh cut and these were kind of a shoestring fry. The chicken was decent but a pretty small portion that left my fiancé hungry. He said the side with it was just ok. We got cocktails that I can't recall but they were pretty good. We would go back and try some other things. Probably on a less busy day earlier in the week.

From the moment we arrived, the hostesses were warm and accommodating, and the service throughout the meal was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. As someone with gluten allergies, I felt genuinely cared for. The team listened closely and offered recommendations that never felt like a compromise on flavor or creativity. We began with a dirty chai latte, aromatic and comforting, though I personally would have enjoyed a touch more sweetness. The dirty French, customized gluten free, was rich, decadent and deeply satisfying. It felt indulgent in the best way and showcased the kitchen's ability to balance comfort with culinary intention. To go, we ordered the crunchy chicken nuggets, fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. The fries were outstanding, perfectly crisp and addictive. My husband loved the pancakes, light and flavorful with a bright citrus note. The gluten free nuggets were enjoyable, though they did not quite reach the level I expected compared to the rest of the menu. Overall, Sacred Beast offers a dining experience where hospitality and thoughtful cooking meet effortlessly.
