Not what I was expecting At All. The time of my visit the restaurant wasn't clean (floor dirty and some tables that were empty had yet to be wiped off). The chili is always consistent. I am shocked at how dirty this restraunt is. Under staffed and the owner/manager does nothing. Stands around and has no desire to take care of customers. This is now three weeks in a row with the same results. The staff mimics the owner lazy. read more

There is no negative stars or I would rate it that way. Food ? Not horrible but not great definitely an acquired taste. Cheap but expected that. What was gross was the restaurant. I know Skyline is a classic. But the 3-Way was perhaps not the best way for me to go. The service was quick and I did appreciate that the shredded cheese was bagged separately for my to-go order. The chili sauce had a flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on.....nutmeg? Or maybe cinnamon? Maybe it's an acquired taste. Update: I had an issue during my last visit, which I have described below. After writing my initial review and contacting Skyline HQ, I received a call from the franchisee of this location. The call went beyond the standard "we're sorry for your experience" and he really invested the time to understand what happened in order to both address our experience and to improve service in the future for all guests. I think that speaks volumes and certainly warrants an update to my previous review and a future visit. I enjoy Skyline at any location and I've found the food to be consistently good across all locations, so I'm hopeful our last experience was a fluke. Give them a try yourself and see. Previous review: The food is always good here and we've enjoyed every visit except the most recent. We went here on Friday evening and unfortunately the owners' daughter was working as the waitress that night. She was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. After complaining to the manager about how poor she was, I was shocked to learned she was the owners' daughter. She never greeted us (even when she came up to the table to take our order). Her attitude was the worst of any service employee I've ever encountered, and her demeanor, speech, and general interaction style screamed that she did not want to be there and certainly didn't want to interact with anyone. She seemed like an extremely unhappy person and it makes me wonder just how much the owners really care about customer service and their customers. The manager was great and marked our bill down considerably after we spoke to him, but I have to wonder whether I want to come back. Even after speaking to the employee about the issue, she never apologized and simply avoided our table for the remainder of our stay. In fact, the person who checked out our bill seemed pained to have to interact with us. We are regular Skyline customers (been to locations throughout Ohio), but may avoid this location. read more

Well I'm from Cincinnati and I stay in Stow for business once a month. While I'm here this fills my Cincy Chili craving...Always pretty consistent. As everyone says you'll either love it or hate it. That's true with all of the Cincinnati Chili. read more

As someone who has never been to Skyline in the past, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the service I received, and the overall quality of the food. I went for an early dinner it's my girlfriend (of whom introduced me to Skyline Chili) and the restaurant isn't an overly big place, but not cramped by any means. It is a very clean place as well. The waitress that greeted us (and also served us) was very nice and polite. She made suggestions on the menu upon learning that I was new to the restaurant. The waitress was also very prompt with delivering our drinks and food and asked (only once) if everything tasted good. The food we received was outstanding. It was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The presentation of the food we ordered was perfect as well. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning to this Skyline Chili in the near future. I would also recommend this location to anyone who is wanting to try something new as well! read more

I ordere4 coney dogs and while I was waiting for them 13 different people came in and sat down and all of them ordered and a few minutes they had their food while I was still waiting for mine so after 26 minutes I went to the counter and asked where my order was and the waitress asked if I wanted to cancel so I said yes so I guess I'll never go back read more

I had a good memory of eating at Skyline Chili when I used to visit Cincinatti - I was in Akron for a professional event and visited this one about 30 minutes away. It was not anywhere as good as I remember, the spaghetti was way overcooked to a mushy consistency, and the chili was just ok. Either my memory is failing, things have changed for this restaurant chain, or I got a bad meal/picked a bad location. read more

Great food, great service and clean atmosphere. We had never been to Skyline before and now we can't wait to go back!

We took our granddaughter there last night. She got a hot dog which was OK. I had 3 way chili, my husband had 5 way chili. Both of ours were inedible. The spaghetti was mushy, the sauce had a funky taste, the whole dish was barely warm and the cheese just sat there. The waitress never came back to our table because we were going to order each of us a hot dog. There was one gentleman at a table near us and that was it. The servers stood behind the cash register talking and we couldn't get anyone's attention. The waitress flew by and put our bill down and left. Never once asked how things were--she could obviously tell because our plates were barely touched. I decided I would tell the cashier when he asked how the meal was exactly how I felt. He could barely tear himself away from his conversation with the servers and didn't even ask. Shame on me for not telling him how nasty everything was. We will never go back. read more

I ordered take out at noon, which included one ice tea. When Carol handled me the bag I asked specifically, "Is the iced tea in there?" She said "yes". Got all the way home and no iced tea. I guess you get what you pay for. Lunch for two was less than $15 but the chili cheese dogs were tiny and hardly had any chili, and the 3 way potato also had hardly any chili. Severely disappointed. read more
