I was not impressed with appetizer menu because there was not much selection. There are lots of options for burgers but not many other options. The service was quick and I ended up eating an appetizer while my friend had a burger. They have a bar and lots of options for beers. I sat for over 40 min waiting for a BLT sandwich only to see it arrive just as I was closing out my tab! Terrible service even during a pandemic... But, I'm not shocked. My mom and I went to this establishment during her lunch break because she heard that the food was good. As soon as we walked through the door, the bartender (and maybe manager) looked in our direction, said hi, and continued what he was doing. I stepped up to the menu and asked if we could order here food to-go instead of dining in their outdoor area. He says yes and goes back to what he's doing. I said "okay, well whenever you're ready, we'll order." Now, I'm no customer service expert because legal is my field, but I'm thinking that it should go a bit better than this, no? Suddenly, when it's time to order, his computer is not working and he mentions that he'll have to send everyone home. We wait a second for him to decide if this is the route he really wants to take and then thank him [for nothing] and leave. My mom calls them once she's back at the office to see if they actually closed down and he says "nope, we're open and I can take your order". Decided to stop by and have some food with my family. Heard they had a taco Tuesday. Although they ran out of carnitas by the time we came in, they had plenty of other options to choose from. The pico de gallo on the fish tacos was great and the tortillas tasted freshly made not store bought. My family and I really enjoyed the tacos. Came here on a Tuesday night with friends after our final! It was Taco Tuesday so they had $3 chicken and steak tacos and $4 fish tacos, along with imported beers from Mexico that go from $3 before 5 pm to $5 from 5-10 pm. The tacos come with the meat, onions, and cilantro, along with limes and salsa verde on the side. Chicken tacos were seasoned a little too much but the lime and salsa balanced it out. I never remember to review places, but Ashley was an exceptional Waitress & I just had to give her a shout out! She was friendly, helpful & personable. Her service couldn't have been better! The food was amazing! We over-ate and had leftovers to take home. We got the mushroom burger, sweet potato fries, the potato nachos, the breaded stuffed jalapenos and our son got the grilled cheese with fruit. Tasty! So glad to have this place nearby. I would give it a 3.5, but since I can't a 3 will do for now. The place is small, we went at lunch and we're lucky not to have a crowd. I can only imagine the place can get crowded at dinner. They have a big beer selection, it will be nice to see what they bring in. The beer selection sign should be moved to a more visible location, but that didn't stop me from ordering. I had the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA and the Maui Coconut Porter, both were delicious and the Coconut Porter went great with the Thai burger. I felt the beers could have been colder, but it could have just been me. They just opened so they may have run out of beer, but I was surprised to see empty taps. I was expecting to see all the taps being used. For food the wife and I split the Thai burger and the Bacon Burger. My favorite was the bacon burger, the bacon was crispy and burger juicy....perfect. French fries were temp. hot and delicious. There is nothing worst than cold fries and this place did not disappoint. The Thai burger lacked enough peanut sauce, I ended up asking for more sauce. I think the sauce is what makes that burger, layer it on. I am definitely glad to have this new spot in the neighborhood. Service was great and friendly. I already want to return. An excellent selection, including local brews from Heretic. Food: chicken and waffles- sold out; fish; and chips- good but crispy (toasted), tartar sauce wasn't zingy; cuban sandwich- yum (ordered a salad, but it came with fries); child's grilled cheese- yum.
