The reviews we were spot on with the Clobster Grill cheese sandwich. So delicious! It comes with fries or a salad. Hubby got clobster burger. He did not like the combination so he ate the hamburger separately & enjoyed it. I've never been to a fast food seafood restaurant. I definitely would be for the clobster grilled cheese!

Came here for a quick bite while doing some shopping at the outlets. It's a fast casual sort of joint, so you order and pay at the counter, choose your own seats, and they bring the food out to you. We chose outside since it was a sunny day but cool. We ordered a protein bowl and two giant fish tacos as well as an order of fries. The bowl came out first and was missing the rice and the greens had brown edges (obviously old and not cut today). The fish tacos came out, but one was the with wrong fish. The guy bringing out the food (same one at the counter) must have put it in incorrectly and immediately blamed the kitchen. Then he went into a diatribe of hating this job and being on the verge of quitting. He was very unhappy (apparently about the pay) and had just started the job. After lots of fuss and going in to check on our food (and get my rice and forgotten fries as well) we received and consumed our food. The tacos were decent (made with NZ Hoki), the bowl was disgraceful, but the fries were hot! Maybe they're better off serving fried food? Needless to say, wouldn't come back here or ever order anything resembling fresh veggies. Although they did make our orders right, it should be the first time around.

Quick lunch stop after outlet shopping and before grocery shopping at Walmart and Wholefood. You enter the store and go towards the left to line up and order. It's definitely a no frills place for a quick bite. Seafood is the name of the game here with choices of fish tacos, seafood filled grill cheese, sandwich rolls and sides such as brussel sprouts l, truffle tater tots, and clam chowder. I really liked the theme of the restaurant and it was a hard choice but I ended up with Mahi Mahi tacos and clam chowder. I loved the clam chowder-so flavorful and bacon is always an added bonus. The Mahi Mahi tacos were so much bigger than I expected and came with a side of chips and sauce. They were so generous with the Mahi Mahi. You can choose from a list of different sauces and I ended up with the slap sauce which was a spicy mayo. I found the taco a little bland which can easily be fixed with salt or more sauce.

For fast food, this place is yummy and expensive. All sandwiches come with either a side of fries or a salad. The grinder lobster roll was the perfect size, buttery and tasty. The fries are well seasoned with something like old bay (or maybe it was old bay) and was crispy on the outside and potatoe-y on the inside. The surf and turf was generous with the surf though the patty for the turf reminded me of the frozen burger patties from costco. We received the free lobster taquitos with check in which were nice and crispy, not oily. The filling is only in the center so there's excess flour tortilla. However for a free appetizer, not complaining at all. The aioli is nice too

I was giving a ride to a friend coming up to Park City and decided that maybe I should have dinner up here and people watch for a minute or two. Found this place, Slapfish, nearby the Chevron Gas Station at exit 145. Plenty of parking stalls since it's in a shared lot with the rest of the shopping center. A few adjacent stores like Whole Foods Market, Nail Salon to name a few are within walking distances. There are about 20 tables seating up to 4 chairs. The tables are acrylic finished and the chairs are metal back-supported. I came here to try out the "Lobster Grinder"! I read the review on here from others and wanted to give it a try. After waiting a while 15 minutes, it came out. Much to my surprise, the Lobster Grinder is compacted into a small slice of toast; much like a reduced French Toast bread! Mindful that it's about $16.50 for the meal (Fries included), one would think it's pretty big; at least the pictures I've seen painted that thought! I came, I ate, I tried! My conclusion is that it's a bit over-hyped and a bit expensive. I understand it's about 8:30pm but come on folks! I'm giving this place a 4 stars, only because of the time I had to wait and the small disappointing portion for an expensive item. $16.50 could have bought a nice steak at Olive gardens. However, I'll have to try the other items next time I'm in town. At least my seafood craving a fixed; partially!

I was so excited to try their lobster rolls, which wasn't far from our Airbnb. Came here with a group of friends just to be disappointed. -Super slow service -Fish and Chips were actually decent -Half of our group already got their food and nearly finished it by the time some of us got our food -It took about 50 min for our lobster rolls to come out. I need an explanation for this -Worst tasting lobster roll I ever had and did not taste fresh. Not worth the wait nor the $$ -Another customer left angry because his food took too long to come out If you check in, you get free lobster taquitos, which we all agreed was a 6/10. I highly don't recommend coming here.

The Kimball Junction location of the fast-casual seafood chain. Small restaurant serving up fish and seafood based sandwiches, bowls, burritos and tacos. Not that busy for a weekday dinner. They have a selection of daily fish hat you can pick for some of the menu items. I got the fish burrito which was $11. Took them a bit of time to get it made. The burrito was pretty chunky, about the same size as Chipotle burrito, and it was grilled so it was a little crispy on the outside. It had a good amount of fried fish, plus some lettuce, rice and a tangy sauce that made the whole thing complete. It tasted pretty good. The burrito came with a side of chips, and those were decent. Overall, pretty good seafood meal from a fast-casual restaurant.

Some really great menu options. At the recommendation of the delightful young lady behind the counter, it was a power bowl for me. Warm brown rice, grilled veggies, fresh salad, sliced veggies and some amazing grilled seafood. Served with a couple of different tasty sauces. It was a feast for the eyes. Plenty of seating, nice and easy going atmosphere, I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Oh, and my colleague had the fish and chips and he said that too was excellent.

I was so excited to try this place and....sigh. The cashier was nice and helpful; answering all of our questions. We also checked in on Yelp and got an order of lobster taquitos. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the meal. And I just realized, they charged us for the taquitos despite using our Yelp deal smh. The lobster roll, which was $25 MP, was a huge disappointment. The lobster was chewy and the roll itself had no flavor. I've honestly never had a lobster roll this bad and I hate to say it. The shrimp roll was better. The clam chowder was really watery. I'm not sure if i caught them on a bad day, but this food was just blah.

We came by at 8pm and there was no one in the restaurant, so we were a little nervous. But I'm so glad we stayed - the poke and tuna bowls were incredibly fresh, full of vegetables and served quickly. Really can't fault anything here. Would definitely come back

A late lunch after a mountain bike ride. Just wanted quick and easy and Slapfish was in the right place as we pulled into the parking lot. I ordered the shrimp taco, it was delicious, I didn't feel like I was counting my shrimp, which almost always happens unless I am at home! My sweetie ordered the fish burrito .... disappointing packed with cabbage, it was a cabbage burrito, I took a bite and was glad it wasn't mine ... but he had a bite of mine and wished it was his! Lol We will come back but hopefully there will be less cabbage in the burrito we will definitely try something else. read more

We made the mistake of looking at reviews after we ordered, after looking at reviews we were really nervous but we were surprised. The food was actually pretty good and the pieces of fish in the fish and chips were thick and not fishy, but it wasn't the best and we kinda compared it to arctic circle food ‍ The girl at the counter was pretty rude, she cut us off while we were trying to decide what we wanted and then again while we were discussing together she cut me off with just a plain "no." Which I guess that means they don't have it? We went at 2:00 and they had no chowder or lobster But maybe they have been busy earlier today. Overall I don't think we would ever come back here but it was a fun place to try something new read more

Food is fantastic! Service was very attentive and helped us figure out what we wanted. Loved all the fun fountain soda drink options. The burger with lobster was legit. They use the same great bread you'd find in their lobster roll. Toasty yet soft. Buttery yet holds together well. Also the lobster roll was exactly what we wanted from one. The taquitos filled with lobster was a delicious twist on the idea too. Would definitely order again. PLUS all the many hot sauces you can choose from was a high point. Let's me control the heat level the way i like it. Will be back!!! read more

If you're deciding whether or not to go to this restaurant for your next meal, take this as a sign that you should. The food was excellent, the service was prompt, and the ambience was very calm and relaxing (though the patio could probably do with a few more shaded tables). I definitely recommend coming here VERY hungry, as their meals are extremely filling... but the lobster taquitos are to die for. read more

First rate experience!! I got the Mahi Mahi tacos with the siracha lime sauce and they were soooo good! The pickled onions and veggies were so fresh and flavorful and the fish was cooked well. The service was incredible. Fernando was so pleasant and friendly when I ordered and then when he brought my food he asked if I needed anything else and I said, "Maybe a fork," but then realized they were close by and said I could get one, but he said, "No, I'll get it for you." When he brought the fork, he also brought napkins. I definitely needed them and it was so kind of him to think about it and bring them as well. Customer service at its finest! Something you don't see much these days. The restaurant was very clean and there was pleasant music playing, not blaring. Highly recommend! read more

Slapfish combines really good seafood and a fun concept. Usually you can only get one or the other. Good seafood and a more formal setting; or, mediocre seafood at a more fun place. The food we had at Slapfish was really excellent. I know lobster. I once even had a Maine lobsterman's license. Their lobster roll was packed, in a tasty bun, and reasonably priced. They also have a sandwich combining lobster and crab. I saw someone at the next table getting a huge and beautiful looking fish taco. She had been talking quite a bit with her friends, and after the first bite, fell happily silent. Also, this is a good family place. Kids will actually find food they will eat. read more

Fresh, fried and frekkin yummy! I loved the fish and chipssss...comes with tons of fries. My hubby wished he could choose deep fried mahi mahi instead but we were told we couldn't unless we ordered a specail and have it as a burrito, salad or sandwich. I think that's what options there were. Don't quote me on that. I wasn't a fan of the lobster grilled cheese sandwich it was a bit mushy for me. Taste was similar to imitation crab cheese casserole. Not a fan. I did enjoy the deep fried pickles that came with them though. I also enjoyed their natural soda options. Also their clam chowder was great and piping hot. Place was immaculate and they come and clear your trays of food as you eat. Our tab was around $80 for two of us so it is a bit pricey. We were the only two customers for a good 30 minutes which felt odd. It was during lunchtime too. Hmmm... read more

I know I may be going against the grain with the purists but I have to go with Slapfish over the other great option for lobster rolls in Park City. And that is saying a lot! The other guys are fantastic. Before the visitors from Boston and Manchester crush me with Bite Into Maine and Roy Moore Lobster, cut me some slack, you're in UT! No its not authentically weathered exterior wood. No, it does not have a great view of the Atlantic. But Slapfish does have fresh HARDSHELL lobster (yes, I know the difference), on a proper bun, with the meat properly dressed. Be prepared to pay $27 for a 5 oz roll (its a long flight), but I thoroughly enjoyed it (slightly more than the other guys in town). read more

Saw the reviews of this place and thought it would be amazing. Sadly, it really fell short. We ordered the fish and chips which were rather large portions, but were super greasy and the batter lacked any real flavor. Also got the clobster grilled cheese which was pretty good. The lobster tacquitos seemed like they were undercooked. Better option is to head over to Freshies in Park City. read more

Delicious seafood and fries in a nice place tucked in a strip mall near Whole Foods. That would be my only complaint. I would not have known this was here unless I was checking Yelp. Slapfish is delish. I am a big fan! The price is such that I don't eat here often but every time I have eaten at a Slapfish, I walk away very satisfied with my food. I also really, love the ambiance and decor (for instance, the fact that their menus are printed on wooden boards is a unique touch). This time around, I ordered the lobster taquitos (an absolute must) and The Ultimate Fish Taco. For a taco, it is VERY filling. If I could make any suggestion it would be to trim down on the cabbage because it threw off the fish to cabbage ratio but it didn't deter much from the tastiness of the taco itself. It did, however, make it a little more difficult to eat. Will be back again -- I am still dreaming about the lobster taquitos. read more

A really nice concept and great product. You order at the counter and they bring you the food, quick preparation and friendly service. The fries are excellent, perfect size and crispness. Nice concept with chowder on top, a poutine of sorts. We tried 2 of the fish features, salmon and barramundi both nice portions just a bit over but not by much. Lobster roll market price $25 was good not great, of course we summer in Maine so we're picky on lobster. Do the yelp check in for the free taquitos, fun to try with all the different sauces. Like the soda fountain, big variety of sodas made with cane sugar. Overall an excellent experience, especially with kids. read more

Honestly never heard of this place and we stopped on our way to the outlet mall to try something different. I ordered the lobster roll. I was a little shocked by the price. But there was tons of lobster on a perfectly buttered roll. All it needed was the fresh lemon I added on top. Fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Definitely a good, although pricey, lunch. read more

The clam chowder is decent and will definitely help you through a craving. The lobster taquitos are out of this world and fluffy and wonderful. BUT. The regular lobster roll ($25) is lower to middle of the line, at best. It's 1/4 of the meat you get for the same price of the XL roll at Freshie's, and there is no flavor! Not butter, not seasoning, nothing. Super disappointing. Even the seasoning they give you in those little cans couldn't help. Maybe the grilled cheese could cover it up, but I wouldn't waste the money trying. May come back for the taquitos, but probably not. Sorry, Slapfish! I really wanted to love you! read more

So disappointed and annoyed with this place I almost don't even want to waste my time writing this review. First off my wife's order was wrong, My order was incomplete as I didn't get a side of butter as requested, not to mention I have to go back and ask them for fresh fries. For a $25 lobster roll, you should be dropping fries to order and not having them sit in the back for 20+ minutes like I'm sure mine were. They literally started cleaning up the right side of the store while my wife and I still ate. The girl was sweeping the carpet so vigorously next to me I was actually getting hit with crap from the floor and had to tell her to tone it down. Then They started stacking their metal chairs, I literally said to my wife I'm about ready to lose my shit (because of the noise)and about 20 seconds later I looked behind me and some blonde girl stacks one metal chair and literally drops it about a foot onto the other chairs and gives a shit ass eaten grin to her employee friend, that's when I stood up and said something. She was literally trying to make as much noise as possible in order to get us to leave, while in the middle section there were probably still a dozen people eating. Then of course she goes in to the back and obviously starts complaining to the cooks about what I said because several of them start peaking their heads through the window in the kitchen door or actually come out and start mean mugging me while they act like they're getting soda refills.It was absolutely ridiculous. I own VRBO properties in park city and was once an Olympic hopeful and still have tons and tons of athlete friends that come to the area to compete that ask me for recommendations. This place just lost a ton of revenue because I will never send anybody here. My meal alone was almost $35. Lobster roll, bowl of chowder, soda. I don't mind spending money on good food but at that price I expect to have hot side items and not be rushed out of a restaurant because somebody didn't train their staff properly. Park city is a very very small community, there's a reason a lot of national brands, minus fast food joints don't last here. This place is on the fast track to be forgotten down the road if they don't improve their service read more

Apart from food truck tacos at The Gateway, Slapfish was my last meal of 2017 and it sure was a delicious way to go out. I'll be honest; this ain't the place to go if your resolutions involve shedding a few El B's but it's certainly a treat to be savored every once in a blue moon. Heavy, hearty, seafoody comfort is on the menu here. I was devirginized this weekend but my partner has eaten at another location a few times and really wanted the fish burrito. For me, both fish and burritos fall in the 'meh, I'll eat it but wouldn't order it' category but Slapfish turned me into a fish burrito believer. You can't come to Slapfish and not get something a la lobster so we went halfsies and settled on the Clobster grilled cheese which was also scrumptious. I forgot for a moment I was in Park City in December and not on a beach in Maine in August. They've got a really nice tartar sauce that enhances the sabor but is probably not for everyone. I'll go on and add Slapfish to my list of upscale fast food faves. SLC has some hearty competition but they're up there. read more

It seems like Slapfish has taken a lot of it's originals off the menu to make way for more affordable options in their supply chain. Unfortunately, it also seemed to correspond to an increase in their prices. It has gotten too expensive as a "fast-casual" option for our family of four for an "okay" experience. read more

Pleasantly surprised with this small restaurant. I will certainly try to get during my next visit to Park city and at that time can gauge the food a little better. Stayed across the street at the hotel and they suggested this place since it was getting kind of late. Open the menu to find lobster roll! My favorite so I had to get that and it was $25 but when I was in Boston it averaged $30. The meet was or seem to fresh to me and they didn't dress it with anything to take away from the taste, the role was decent and I believe it had drawn butter inside. It came with seasoned french fries which weren't overpowering and a spicy dill pickle underneath. Be sure to get the special French fry sauce that they have as it gives a nice little kick as I looked at the other menu items I noticed lots of other great fish combo's so I look forward to trying this out. I'll post a picture of my meal as I had to take it to go so I could watch the basketball game. Best fish sandwich I've had in park city. Lots of sustainable options listed on the daily board. The workers were friendly. The prices are on par with the rest of this town. The hot sauce selection is incredible. Quality sodas in the fountain. Clean, bright setting. Killer brioche roll didn't get soggy. Loaded with slaw and greens. Tasty fresh fries. They moved some chairs around and were cleaning tables, but unlike some reviewers I don't get bothered by noise. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!! My only complaint was that the wifi was non existent, and just by saying that I sound like a over privileged a** hole ! . Keep it up Slapfish. read more

Great Food. Great space. Plenty of room for groups of families to come enjoy some fresh seafood. The patio they have outside has a giant fire pit. Went here for a snowboarding trip recently, and tried out this spot...and come to find out they have a location back in Southern California where I live. Bonus! The clobster grilled cheese with a beer was a great combo. My wife had the Lobster Roll, and she didn't speak the entire time...I think that's a good sign. I saw someone at a table next to us devour an entire fish and chips. I'll probably try that next time. Side note - I would try all of the sauces and do a sampling of the craft sodas. This place is a joke: way overpriced, bland meals filled with bland cabbage and/or rice and barely any fish. I ordered a fish burrito and although it is meant to be eaten by hand, the maniacs in the kitchen covered it in some sort of fish sauce that drips everywhere. My mom and I went through 10+ crappy napkins and both of us had that ubiquitous fish sauce on our clothes. They should hand out bibs. I'm never eating there again. read more
