Great for a little pick me up after shopping at the outlets. one guy was running the register and managing all the customers in the lobby. He was juggling A LOT! They definitely need more people working and they did have hiring signs. But he did the best he could! Peaked through the back window and they had two people working back there! This place should be called SlapFace, because that's how you'll feel after eating the substandard fare and paying 3x what it's worth. I came here with my family after visiting the Olympic Park. It seemed like the closest and best option. I wasn't super hungry so I ordered 1 fish taco from the Starters menu. It was $6 with tax! For that price I was expecting an above average sized taco, with a decent amount of fish. Unfortunately neither were true. The bacon was good but I don't think it necessarily goes with clam chowder - that's more of a creamy potatoes soup topper. All around great experience during our 2 visits with my family. The serving sizes made the prices reasonable. The staff was friendly and efficient. We tried the Clobster sandwich (crab and lobster grilled cheese) - great comfort food. The lobster roll was overflowing with lobster. The grilled salmon sandwich was cooked perfectly and was hanging off the fresh bun. This is a great addition to the fast casual food scene. One logistics note - it shares a small-ish parking lot that is shared with several places, inclining a new Whole Foods. My cousins and I finished a hike and we were hungry. We stopped by Slapfish for the first time and decided to give it a shot. First off, the service from Kyle was fantastic. When we ordered, I asked if they had fried zucchini and Kyle said no, but if we were interested they could make some for us. We declined the fried zucchini and and ordered sauteed veggies, fish and chips and fish tacos. The consensus was that the food was terrific! And sitting outdoors on a beautiful day didn't hurt either. What made the lunch even more special was Kyle surprised us with fried zucchini! He said it was the first time they made it and they nailed it. I hope they are able to add fried zucchini to the menu because it was so good! Anyway, if you're in the area, give Slapfish a shot. I was looking forward to trying this place but I found this place to be a huge disappointment. They give you ranch for you poke bowl. The fries are not crispy even though it is fried. The sauce that my fish and chip came with was ok but I preferred tartar sauce. My clam chowder was a little salty. It was definitely tiny for the amount of bacon they put in it. You can tell the chefs in the back are just messing around. I think they can benefit from new management. read more

The food is always delicious. I've had the tacos, the lobster roll, the fish and chips and it's all so good. Yes, the menu is pricey, the service is a little slow and they do take a while to prepare your food but it is worth it. The atmosphere is causal and there's outside seating if you want. I do wish you could change the side dish of the tacos so you can pick whatever side you want inside of having the fries and ordering the tots. This was our first time eating at a Slap Fish restaurant and my wife and I were delighted by the excellent food and friendly service. Freddy took time to explain the menu and the fresh fish available that day and we decided on the fish and chips and coleslaw. The talapia fillets were fresh, large and cooked to perfection. The batter was light and crispy as the menu, and Freddy, promised and seasoned to compliment the mild flavor of the fish. We needed to find a place where my vegetarian friend and I could grab a meal while visiting Park City. This was close to our hotel and perfect for quick service and great fish. The options to build your own meal had something for everybody- the timid "picky" eaters to bold spicy. I had tacos. My friend had the grilled fish sandwich with fries. This was a perfect location since it was within walking distance of where we were staying during our stay in Park City. They didn't seem to have any hand sanitizing stations or anyone who wiped off the tables before we sat down, so thankfully I had wipes. After checking in I received a free appetizer of lobster taquitos! The opinion was mixed for my family. I thought they were delicious but my kids...meh. I ordered the handheld fish taco which was tasty and nice and crunchy from the fried fish and the cabbage. My kids both had the shrimp burrito and would have preferred it with black beans. The old menu included black beans, but the new has it crossed off. One daughter barely touched hers and just picked out the shrimp. My younger one ate 1/4 of it since she was hungry. Prices were reasonable for seafood items. The service however was good. The person bringing out our food was courteous.
