Slapfish has been, for the past year, one of my go to places in Utah for decent food. That is until today at this location. I ordered the fish and chips as I usually do, and was surprised and let down that the chips were soggy, the fish was greasy, and worst of all there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. as I have eaten at this location in Park City many times before, I was very surprised at the poor quality of the food that I attempted to eat today, and ended up throwing away half of it. I guess the staff that they used to have cared about the food they served, versus the staff that they have now who clearly does not. I will not be returning to this location. read more

We are visiting PC and didnt want to drive too far from the place we were staying at. We ordered chowder fries, it was really good and we didnt expect to get such a BIG serving size. The shrimp ceviche wasn't so good, it wasn't fresh and the shrimp was so tough and hard. The lobster taquitos wasn't that great either, edges had burnt bites and you could taste it too. My family and I were out shopping at the outlets when we got hungry and decided to try this place. My husband likes seafood but I'm not very big on it... I was happy to see that they had regular kids options like chicken fingers. I decided to try the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised with the fried whitefish. I got it with their lemon herb sauce which was quite delicious. Their french fries were OK and the seasoning was pretty good on them. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Their drinks were Boylan brand, which I love! I think that was the best part of the restaurant - the variety of those sodas :-) The owner is attentive and courteous. She just points her finger and you need to guess the answer to your question looking at the boards. People, save yourselves. Stopped for dinner 6/29/21. A few customers in the place - all already eating. Ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a beer, husband ordered street tacos. The chowder arrived almost immediately, piping hot but without eating utensil. A few minutes later the spoon arrived, so no problem. About 10 minutes later the tacos arrived. Asked husband to cancel the beer since I wanted it with my meal, which was now finished. Suddenly, the beer arrived. I asked to "manager" to take it back and just give us a credit. He actually scurried away and disappeared. My husband went up to the cashier who after a few attempts realized he didn't know how to refund and gave us cash. I hate to give a crappy review but not sure why this place got 4 1/2 stars? Food was fried for the most part. My chowder had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Super thick as far as spooning it out and turning the spoon over and it didn't slide off. The fish and chips were fishy. Too fishy for white fish in my opinion. Wow this place is awesome! I have found my go to food at Slapfish, it's the "surf and turf lobster burger".I don't know how I've lived without this so long without it. The lobster is overflowing onto the tray, the oversize portion of fries and a delicious burger patty on a brioche bun is my favorite burger in Park City. Plus friendly staff and clean restrooms.
