The reviews we were spot on with the Clobster Grill cheese sandwich. So delicious! It comes with fries or a salad. Hubby got clobster burger. He did not like the combination so he ate the hamburger separately & enjoyed it. I've never been to a fast food seafood restaurant. I definitely would be for the clobster grilled cheese!

Came here for a quick bite while doing some shopping at the outlets. It's a fast casual sort of joint, so you order and pay at the counter, choose your own seats, and they bring the food out to you. We chose outside since it was a sunny day but cool. We ordered a protein bowl and two giant fish tacos as well as an order of fries. The bowl came out first and was missing the rice and the greens had brown edges (obviously old and not cut today). The fish tacos came out, but one was the with wrong fish. The guy bringing out the food (same one at the counter) must have put it in incorrectly and immediately blamed the kitchen. Then he went into a diatribe of hating this job and being on the verge of quitting. He was very unhappy (apparently about the pay) and had just started the job. After lots of fuss and going in to check on our food (and get my rice and forgotten fries as well) we received and consumed our food. The tacos were decent (made with NZ Hoki), the bowl was disgraceful, but the fries were hot! Maybe they're better off serving fried food? Needless to say, wouldn't come back here or ever order anything resembling fresh veggies. Although they did make our orders right, it should be the first time around.

Quick lunch stop after outlet shopping and before grocery shopping at Walmart and Wholefood. You enter the store and go towards the left to line up and order. It's definitely a no frills place for a quick bite. Seafood is the name of the game here with choices of fish tacos, seafood filled grill cheese, sandwich rolls and sides such as brussel sprouts l, truffle tater tots, and clam chowder. I really liked the theme of the restaurant and it was a hard choice but I ended up with Mahi Mahi tacos and clam chowder. I loved the clam chowder-so flavorful and bacon is always an added bonus. The Mahi Mahi tacos were so much bigger than I expected and came with a side of chips and sauce. They were so generous with the Mahi Mahi. You can choose from a list of different sauces and I ended up with the slap sauce which was a spicy mayo. I found the taco a little bland which can easily be fixed with salt or more sauce.

For fast food, this place is yummy and expensive. All sandwiches come with either a side of fries or a salad. The grinder lobster roll was the perfect size, buttery and tasty. The fries are well seasoned with something like old bay (or maybe it was old bay) and was crispy on the outside and potatoe-y on the inside. The surf and turf was generous with the surf though the patty for the turf reminded me of the frozen burger patties from costco. We received the free lobster taquitos with check in which were nice and crispy, not oily. The filling is only in the center so there's excess flour tortilla. However for a free appetizer, not complaining at all. The aioli is nice too

I was giving a ride to a friend coming up to Park City and decided that maybe I should have dinner up here and people watch for a minute or two. Found this place, Slapfish, nearby the Chevron Gas Station at exit 145. Plenty of parking stalls since it's in a shared lot with the rest of the shopping center. A few adjacent stores like Whole Foods Market, Nail Salon to name a few are within walking distances. There are about 20 tables seating up to 4 chairs. The tables are acrylic finished and the chairs are metal back-supported. I came here to try out the "Lobster Grinder"! I read the review on here from others and wanted to give it a try. After waiting a while 15 minutes, it came out. Much to my surprise, the Lobster Grinder is compacted into a small slice of toast; much like a reduced French Toast bread! Mindful that it's about $16.50 for the meal (Fries included), one would think it's pretty big; at least the pictures I've seen painted that thought! I came, I ate, I tried! My conclusion is that it's a bit over-hyped and a bit expensive. I understand it's about 8:30pm but come on folks! I'm giving this place a 4 stars, only because of the time I had to wait and the small disappointing portion for an expensive item. $16.50 could have bought a nice steak at Olive gardens. However, I'll have to try the other items next time I'm in town. At least my seafood craving a fixed; partially!

I was so excited to try their lobster rolls, which wasn't far from our Airbnb. Came here with a group of friends just to be disappointed. -Super slow service -Fish and Chips were actually decent -Half of our group already got their food and nearly finished it by the time some of us got our food -It took about 50 min for our lobster rolls to come out. I need an explanation for this -Worst tasting lobster roll I ever had and did not taste fresh. Not worth the wait nor the $$ -Another customer left angry because his food took too long to come out If you check in, you get free lobster taquitos, which we all agreed was a 6/10. I highly don't recommend coming here.

The Kimball Junction location of the fast-casual seafood chain. Small restaurant serving up fish and seafood based sandwiches, bowls, burritos and tacos. Not that busy for a weekday dinner. They have a selection of daily fish hat you can pick for some of the menu items. I got the fish burrito which was $11. Took them a bit of time to get it made. The burrito was pretty chunky, about the same size as Chipotle burrito, and it was grilled so it was a little crispy on the outside. It had a good amount of fried fish, plus some lettuce, rice and a tangy sauce that made the whole thing complete. It tasted pretty good. The burrito came with a side of chips, and those were decent. Overall, pretty good seafood meal from a fast-casual restaurant.

Some really great menu options. At the recommendation of the delightful young lady behind the counter, it was a power bowl for me. Warm brown rice, grilled veggies, fresh salad, sliced veggies and some amazing grilled seafood. Served with a couple of different tasty sauces. It was a feast for the eyes. Plenty of seating, nice and easy going atmosphere, I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Oh, and my colleague had the fish and chips and he said that too was excellent.

I was so excited to try this place and....sigh. The cashier was nice and helpful; answering all of our questions. We also checked in on Yelp and got an order of lobster taquitos. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the meal. And I just realized, they charged us for the taquitos despite using our Yelp deal smh. The lobster roll, which was $25 MP, was a huge disappointment. The lobster was chewy and the roll itself had no flavor. I've honestly never had a lobster roll this bad and I hate to say it. The shrimp roll was better. The clam chowder was really watery. I'm not sure if i caught them on a bad day, but this food was just blah.

I came here for lunch and it was pretty good, but they can do so much better. I started with the Lobster Taquitos that were HEAVILY drizzled with awesome sauce and on a fried flour tortilla. Although the taste was decent, there was so much sauce on this that is was way overpowering and way too messy. I also found the tortilla overdone fried and would probably taste much better non fried and with much less sauce. The New England clam chowder was pretty good with red potatoes, clams, bacon and was about the right size. Although I should have simply have ordered the lobster roll, I was went for the Lobster Grinder - chilled lobster, shrimp, and crab, spiced aioli, packed into a split-top butter roll. I will say is was pretty good (this is in Utah, not New England) and unless you have access to right off the boat lobster, this is fine. There may be some consistency issues depending on what chef is in the kitchen as the reviews here are great, but I only think it is a 3 star.

I've eaten here several times, and although it is a high end chain, it is consistently good! The fish is fresh, prepared many ways, and their fish and chips are outstanding! My kids love that best! Oh and in the summer they have outdoor seating. read more

We ordered two orders of fish and chips. The fish was razor thin- definitely more breading than fish. One of the orders smelled like a dead aquarium, and the fish tasted rancid. He returned the order and requested a refund. The staff was unable to process the refund, I'm not sure why. and Slapfish Corporate is unresponsive to phone calls, their phone message states that I've reached them after business hours; during business hours. I'll deal with my card company to get the charge for the bad meal reversed. We ended up throwing out the other meal as well. Not a great experience on all fronts. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. Not much of a seafood guy but was starving and it was here or taco bell. The food is very fresh and tastes great. Had the Hawaiian Bowl and the wife had the clam chowder, both were great. The service was top shelf as well. Austin had great recommendations and the food was out in no time flat. What a great addition to the area! Amazingly tasty fresh fish! Portions are fulfilling. My only complaint is the paper in the tray they serve your meal on. If you use a fork and knife plan on eating quite a bit of the paper that doesn't hold up. A bit pricey but they have beer. read more

Let's just say they have the best fish and chips I've had in Utah. It's flaky, crunchy and overall very well prepared. Their tarter sauce is out of this world. I'd suggest sticking to just the fish and chips we also tried the fish tacos, which were underwhelming just too much cabbage and nothing special. The lobster sandwich was tasty but not my favorite. read more

Loved this place. My husband got fish and chips and I had a lobster roll. The food was amazing. The double order of fish and chips was huge and hot so unless you're starving maybe don't make it a double? This place has a very casual atmosphere but is super clean with a hip vibe. Staff here really wants us to like this place, and we appreciate the enthusiasm. We enjoyed lobster taquitos on the house, and each ordered a fish taco (one grilled and one baked.) I wanted a bit more sauce on mine and staff explained the salsa, ranch, and chipotle options. We spent $17 for 2 of us, which is in line with PC pricing. We will return. read more

Delicious! The Traditional Lobster Roll was fresh and tasty! Market price today was $25. If you check in with Yelp you get a free order of Lobster Taquitos which is normally 2 for $7.00. They have soda made with pure cane sugar which I love. Friendly, polite service and they clean up your mess right away. read more

Good food, but they were out of fries. How do you run out of fries? Still, the food we did get was good for the most part and reasonably priced: fish taco, fish & "chips", and kid's chicken meal. Fish & chips were a bit on the greasy side. The restaurant also was understaffed when we were there. Not sure the restaurant will be here a year from now, but I hope it figures out how to operate properly, because the model and menu were promising. read more

After reading several reviews on Yelp I was excited to try Slapfish but unfortunately my visit left me disappointed and unsatisfied. While I love the idea of Clam Chowder Fries their Clam Chowder was watery and bland and desperately needed salt (even with bacon crumbled on top.) my friend and I also ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese and were not impressed buy the sauce drizzled all over the top half of the sandwich that ultimately made a mess as we were attempting to eat it and over powered the seafood mixture in the sandwich itself. The same sauce was used on the Lobster Taquitos and while it pairs better with those I feel it would've been better on the side as a dipping sauce. As for the staff they were knowledgeable and friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. read more

Our 1st time in Park City after driving up from Las Vegas. We wanted somewhere close to the hotel, not too expensive and that would be acceptable to our 11 year old daughters. After reading the reviews on Yelp, we decided to try Slapfish. The fish and chips was very tasty (get the fish grilled to keep it healthier). The shrimp roll was a big hit with daughter 1 and the kid's chicken tenders made her twin really happy. My wife had a fish bowl and found it VERY good. Dinner for 4 came to about $40 which seems not too bad for a high end ski town. The young man serving was very helpful and nice, the food came out fast and hot. Good enough that we may be going back tomorrow night. read more

Not only did they reccomend my meal (fish tacos), it was served in a timely manner. For what they recommended I thought the fish tacos were awesome. Not bad on flavor or amount of lobster in the items but everything we had seemed a big greasy. For a "fast food" stand in line restaurant, it would be nice if they posted daily the market prices on the menu so you know what you are getting into before reaching the cashier. For quick food it is more than I would pay again. read more

Many people told us we had to try this place when they came to Park City, I thought they were all exaggerating a bit how great it is. They were not! Great food and quick, friendly service. We tried the chowder, lobster taquitos, crispy shrimp app, and fish taco. All were excellent in both preparation and flavor. This was our last meal while in the Park City area and honestly one of our favorites even though it was really our only "dine and dash" option along the way. read more

First time here. It was a nice place. At the suggestion of Megan, who took my order, I got a bowl with veggies, rice and fish (mahi). The fish was very fresh and tasted great. I would have preferred a much lighter touch of oil. Hubby had the fish and chips with New England clam chowder instead of chips. He gave it a thumbs up. One suggestion I have for them is to go with reusable silverware. We are all trying to do better for our planet and that would be a good way to help. read more

Dry, overcooked fish, cashier wasn't friendly or patient when I wasn't able to understand her English, and they weren't able to accommodate what I thought was a fairly simple request in my bowl (half white rice, half brown rice). I left the place never wanting to come back. Just another greedy chain. read more

Great Food. Great space. Plenty of room for groups of families to come enjoy some fresh seafood. The patio they have outside has a giant fire pit. Went here for a snowboarding trip recently, and tried out this spot...and come to find out they have a location back in Southern California where I live. Bonus! The clobster grilled cheese with a beer was a great combo. My wife had the Lobster Roll, and she didn't speak the entire time...I think that's a good sign. I saw someone at a table next to us devour an entire fish and chips. I'll probably try that next time. Side note - I would try all of the sauces and do a sampling of the craft sodas. This place is a joke: way overpriced, bland meals filled with bland cabbage and/or rice and barely any fish. I ordered a fish burrito and although it is meant to be eaten by hand, the maniacs in the kitchen covered it in some sort of fish sauce that drips everywhere. My mom and I went through 10+ crappy napkins and both of us had that ubiquitous fish sauce on our clothes. They should hand out bibs. I'm never eating there again. read more

I took my girlfriend Slapfish last night. She was so in love with the Clobster Grilled Cheese that she personally thanked the head cook. I too was so impressed that I will be sure to bring her back. I suggest trying this place if you like good seafood. Heck I suggest trying it even if you don't like fish. read more
