So I guess this is a chain, but I had never heard of it before. I let Yelpers lead the way and picked Slapfish for dinner while out shopping at Whole Foods and the outlets. I got a fish burrito, and it was SO GOOD. So tasty, with lots of guacamole, rice, beans and veggies. It was nearly the size of my head and I could barely finish it. This was probably the best meal I had in Park City, and I'm so glad I wandered in here. The restaurant is casual and quick and super comfortable to sit and hang out for a while after eating. My fish burrito was not good. Rice was like glue and one side was only cabbage. Not much flavor not much fish. Wound up smothering it with habanero sauce. The burrito also takes much longer to prepare than the other dishes and my wife had already finished hers before mine was done. The lobster taquitos were very good. My wife's fish bowl was good - the sautéed vegetables were excellent. There was a large group next to us who said the fish and chips were good- they also didn't like the burrito. My boyfriend and I went to Park City for the day to shop and we wanted to try a new restaurant. My boyfriend is from Hawai'i, so finding a good seafood restaurant is always a plus. We went around 4pm and it was not busy. There were so many options to choose from and I had such a hard time!! I finally decided on the Grilled Fish Bowl with Salmon and I added grilled pineapple. It had greens, seasoned rice, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and pickled onions. (I took the onions off...I'm not a huge fan) and it was PHENOMENAL. I added a side of awesome sauce (a sweet and spicy sauce) for my salad. It wasn't an extra charge which was nice. My boyfriend got the fried shrimp roll - fried shrimp on a buttered fried roll with a side of fries and tartar sauce. It was by far the best fried shrimp either of us have EVER had. Mouth watering. The fries were so good and you could tell they were very fresh. The seasoning was amazing and they had fry sauce which makes it even better. You HAVE to go try this place!!!!! Great addition to the PC dining scene. Slapfish is always quick and is consistently good. The fish and chips are a must, but everything on the menu does the trick. Plus, the staff is friendly and caring and the restaurant is always clean! My only complaint is that Slapfish promotes that they're a sustainable dining option, but they only have single-use plastic water cups and cutlery! Plus, all of the plates, cups, and tray liners are single-use, too. Slapfish--I'd love to see you make small changes to promote sustainability and to preserve beautiful Park City! Slapfish exceeded all expectations that my husband and I may have had prior to our first experience here. We came hungry and our eyes were even hungrier as we looked over the menu. We had the lobster taquitos, chowder fries, and shared the epic fish burrito... we were so full but had to keep eating because the flavors were out of this world! This is my first time here and I had their Lobster Grinder. It was so good! It came with a pickle and seasoned fries! I feel like there's some Cajon flavors going around because of the way both the sandwich and the fries were seasoned. We are staying the weekend up here in Park City and wanted to try something new. We saw a lot of reviews for Slapfish. The lobster roll is what really stood out to us! It looks amazing in the pictures. We both ordered the lobster roll and really enjoyed it! The lobster has a good buttery taste. For my liking it needs some more seasoning. Some salt and pepper would have helped, luckily that has some on hand. The fries were awesome, and it was very filling! The food itself is a little pricey for my liking. $25 bucks (not including a drink). Overall it was really good. We saw lots of other plates going by and are excited to come back to try something else. read more

Yes... fresh lobster in Park City, Utah is expensive. If you are surprised by this, refer to a map. Being from New England, I assure you it's pretty expensive there too. With that out of the way, let me tell you the food and service was stellar here. I ordered a lobster roll which came with fresh fries and a pickle spear. The roll was perfectly buttered and toasted and overflowing with lobster tail and claw. The fries had a bit of old bay like seasoning on them, and the pickle well... was a pickle. It cost $25 and was worth each bite. For those not wanting to spend that amount there were plenty of other salads, sandwiches and bowls available with fresh fish and shrimp for about $10-$15. The employees I interacted with were great, particularly Skylar. Definitely give this place a try- it's legit. read more
