Oh boy, staff is incredibly friendly here so this low rating is not a reflection of that! The hotel itself is the low score. One elevator only, not only is it incredibly slow, it makes a weird grinding noise when the doors closing, like it's off track.... My room key kept deactivating (4 times)so imagine having to go all the way back downstairs after realizing so (I'm on the fourth floor), i'm visiting here for work, so I was exhausted and the elevator was taking so long I opted for the stairs. There happen to be heavy rains, and whether there is no gutter or it's damaged, because my window had just massive waterfall rain. Not sure if the window is not sealed properly or if there is something wrong with the AC unit as the floor underneath became completely soaked. Because of the storm as well, the TV cable cut out, I've stayed in many hotels and many different weather situations, and I have never had the TV go out with a note on the screen it's not working because of the rain.... When I used the air unit it made a loud clicking noise the wouldn't stop so I just had to make do without air flow. Odd that there was no body wash in the room and water gets a little warm definitely not hot and takes ages to even get to that level. Same with the sink, probably a little bit worse actually, I don't believe I ever got warm water. There are no "do not disturb" signs, I didn't sleep very well as I was super anxious that house keeping might try to walk in LOL. More of a personal issue I suppose, I guess what's weirder is housekeeping, didn't even enter my room when I was gone, which they would normally do in hotels if you don't have a "do not disturb" sign. Walls are so thin, I could hear my neighbors cell phone vibrate on desk and their child laughing. Thankfully their visit was not super long. Wouldn't stay here again, though read more

Not a luxury, more of a convenience. Front desk is immaculately polite and knowledgeable, this person belongs in a 5 star resort! The facility boasts an indoor pool and hot tub with ADA Compliant assists. Breakfast is included and there is an Applebees located next door. The interior hallway of the hotel is somewhat narrow and not very well lit. Our room has 2 Queen (?) beds that have a comfortable firmness. The pillows are a very thin compression that require two or three just to raise your head a bit. .....again, no dresser but there IS an armoire with 8 hangers. The room does have a TV, small microwave and mini fridge. There is a large drawer under the microwave but the handle is missing. There is a sink and mirror counter with a very small one cup coffee maker. The bathroom is a very small afterthought with a pocket slide door that just barely has room for the shower. For the cost of this room ($200+) and the condition it's in, a comparable price would be to drive the extra 26 miles to the Seven Feathers Casino hotel. There you will get a much nicer room for the same price. But then again, this time we decided to stay here due to the convenience. Three stars for the price vs quality. Drop the price from $212 to around $80 and it would feel about right. Until then, this valuation of the room is too high. read more

My husband and I are seniors. We booked a room here on 4/4/2025 and were given a fourth floor room. Two levels from the ice machine. The elevator takes forever and the stairs are difficult for him making it very difficult to get ice or a beverage. They booked us on the traffic side of the hotel and the noise was loud and unremitting through the evening and night. The desk clerk was not rude but very cold and seemed oblivious to our needs. She was unhelpful at best. Not coming back. EVER!!! The room got chilly but no additional blankets were available in the room. Afraid to call the desk to ask for one. I think that says it all. Also, there was blood-stained bedding, the doors are all difficult to open, TV wasn't working, phone wasn't working (probably turned them off so the guests couldn't call the front desk with complaints). BEDBUG! The hotel itself is in an okay neighborhood. And at first glance, it looks fine. One (small, slow) elevator. Free wifi. Pet friendly. Stayed here 6/28/21 When I reference Room 1/2, that's not the actual room number, it's the order of rooms I had. Check in was very slow, system was having problems. We enter Room #1 (third floor).Almost immediately see the bedbug on the pillow. Husband captured it, took it downstairs. While a new room is being arranged(politely I will say), I searched for more bugs. The nightstand had trash in it from a previous guest. Hair on sheets. No additional bugs. Room #2 (second floor). We drop our stuff off in the bathroom and strip the sheets to make sure we don't have another guest. No photo, but more hair on the sheets. Found bloodstains on pillowcase, it had been laundered, but maybe bleach or toss bloody sheets? But no bugs. We had nowhere else to go, and didn't think another room would be any better, so we had to stay. I wrapped a T-shirt around my pillow. Didn't wake up with bites, so I assume Room #2 was okay, but will update if that changes. I've taken precautions with my luggage to make sure my home doesn't get infested, but will update that as well if there's a problem. read more

When we arrived the person behind the desk was being absolutely rude. Finally we got checked in and he informed us that the pool was closed. I booked this hotel because it was one of the only hotels in the area at the time that had a pool that was open, nowhere on there website did it say that the pool was closed. When we got to our room it smelt awful and the sink was disgusting there was also dirt all over the beds. They ended up moving us to a new room and when we got there the blankets were stained. Both rooms looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Over all the worst hotel that I have stayed in. Three days later and my whole family has lice form there do ever waster your money here would rather sleep in my car next time read more

Rooms are a good bargain. They're relatively clean and cheap. The pool is filthy. It's super murky and cloudy. You can't even see the bottom at 5'. Fine place to stay if you don't have a kid who wants to swim. read more

Let's start with the bad. The TV in the room was tiny tiny. I have computer monitors bigger. The coffee in the room is awful. There was a light outside our room that was 10000 watts and shine right in our window. I am going to assume it was to light up their sign but it lit up our room brighter than the sun did the next day. But they had kind of black out shades but this light was way to bright. The person who checked us in was super professional and super not customer service oriented. Did his job but only his job. No smiles no hello nothing but he got us to our room. Now the good. The room was super clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. They have two windows making the traffic from I5 almost impossible to hear and this hotel sits right on the freeway. The shower was wonderful. Hot water all the time and big enough for 2 :) Did I mention how clean the room was? The lobby was really beautiful and the parking lot was clean. All in all this was a nice hotel and I would stay here again. read more

Decided to stop in Roseburg for the night. Only hotel that had vacancies was Sleep Inn. The front receptionist Crystal, was pleasant and accommodating. We arrived to our room- immediately noted some blood splatter on the wall and on a lampshade. Informed Crystal and she moved us to another room. Blood stains on comforters (Double Queen beds) and strands of hair on fitted sheets in the new room. Wanted to leave but too tired and too late. We got new freshly laundered comforters. We slept on top of bed worried about the cleanliness of the sheets. We also noted some mysterious brown substance in the shower. Crystal was very apologetic- but we still had to pay full price for our room. Be careful and check out your room closely. read more

Upon check in the clerk was friendly and nice. The elevator wreaked of urine. We reserved a handicapped room, it was on the fourth floor and as far away from the elevator that it could be. For someone with mobility issues the room was a fair walk. Our key card did not work when we got to our room so we had to walk back down the long hallway and take the stinky elevator again to get a key that worked. The bathroom floor in our room was not clean, it had drop spots on the floor near the toilet like it had not been mopped from the previous occupant. The hallways were worn and need upkeep. We arrived after 6:30pm and housekeeping was still blocking the hallway with the cart and dirty towels in the hall, blocking the pathway for me to get to my room with a walker. read more

The pictures made it look nice, especially for the price I paid. First red flag when I arrived at the property was the sewer smell that emanated throughout the entrance. Young man at the front desk wasn't particularly friendly. When we went up to the room, door was left ajar, but I figured it was their way of showing which rooms were to be occupied (not too secure btw). Once in the room, there were only two bath towels, and two hand towels. Pillows smelled like someone's cologne (my husband is allergic, so not ours). Reasonable price. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Working television, which I have found many hotels recently have advertised tv and then they don't work or they blame the Wi-Fi. Spa was clean and was relaxing. However, it was not a "hot" tub and would have been nice for it to be warmer by 5 degrees or so. Friendly staff. Good location. Walking distance to Applebees. The location is convenient to everything Roseburg. Applebee's is across the parking lot. The accommodations are dated but clean enough. The Jacquizzi has needed repair for over two years as only two of the jets function at a low volume. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast, loaded with carbs and sugar. They do serve scrambled eggs (which I can not eat). A protein option would be most welcome. Diabetics are left with only oat cereal and fresh fruit. They only serve lukewarm water so if you want to cook oatmeal (I bring my own without sugar) you need to take it back to your room to cook. The microwave in the kitchen has been broken for over a year. read more

Don't stay here unless you enjoy people entering your room when you're out for the day! The housekeeping staff pays no attention, or just doesn't care when you put out the "DO NOT DISTURB." The hotel even has a sign at the front desk saying that "because of Covid, housekeeping services are by request only." Apparently the new way to request uninvited people into your room is by putting the DO NOT DISTURB card into the key-reader. Had previously stayed here 26 times in the last year. Tonight will be my 27th and final stay here. Way to violate people's privacy and make them wonder about the safety of their belongings during a pandemic. read more

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Sleep Inn at Roseburg. It was very reasonably priced compared to many other motels that we've stayed at in the area. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Alex. We stayed on the side facing away from the freeway so we had a nice view of the surrounding tree covered hills. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the heated pool was actually comfortable enough to take a nice swim in (many motels advertise that their pools are heated but they're freezing cold to me!) and the hot tub was large and very nice. I consider this place a great deal for the price! We'll be back! read more

I'm not going to spend a lot of time writing this review other than to mention that the rooms bedsheets were not changed. You can see stains and other peoples hairs in the bedsheets. My parents stayed in a different room and she said their towels seemed used. Spoke to the front desk to change sheets which was around midnight (with my 15 month old son sleeping) and they came to change the sheets. Apparently this happens often as she made it sound that way. She said she would be able to discount the room but when we checked in the morning another male staff said he couldn't which I think is bullshit. He gave me a stupid printed voucher which I can make copies of. Doesn't even look legit or for it to work at any Sleep Inn and Suites. He said he'll have manager call me in a week. read more

The place is clean, convenient to the freeway and the desk clerk was efficient and cordial. I want to stress that the staff were all very good, efficient, cordial and as helpful as they could be. The following items leading to the one star rating are all due to owner/manager policy decisions: The parking lot is poorly lit. That amounts to a security risk. The motel has been remodeled in the last few years and what were rooms with one king or queen bed now have two double beds crammed into them. This means the beds each have one side flush up against a wall, with no room for a table on that side or any good way to get in bed on that side. There was only one chair in the room we were given so only one guest at a time can sit comfortably. Third, if you bring a dog, you will be put into one of these rooms (no other choice is offered) and charged $15 extra for it. We stayed here often, with our dog, prior to the remodel and would have given the place 4 or 5 stars. There were rooms with one queen or king bed, an extra chair or two and they were quite comfortable. I am obliged to point out that La Quinta will offer any of their rooms to pet owners at no extra charge. Furthermore, there's a Best Western 14 miles north of here that gets excellent reviews and is pet friendly. We'll be driving a little farther when in this part of Oregon and staying elsewhere in the future. read more

Our first choice was the new Hampton Inn, however due to overbooking it was not available. We looked around and decided to try Sleep Inn & Suites for the first time. Right off the bat they had a very friendly down-to-earth registration person, Jill. She was awesome, and also brought to my attention that I could save 10% if I had a Costco card. That brought the price down to some of the two star Yelp choices. Cha-ching! Then we went up stairs to our room. My only complaint is that this building claims to be non-smoking, however the hallway smells like smoke on the third floor (just the hallway, not the room). The room is upscale with lots of plugs and usb ports, 32" tv with HBO, refrig., microwave, closet and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Finally, the pool is closed only between the hours of 2am-5am for adults, the kids must be out by 10:30 ish. The breakfast is the usual assortment. The other nice thing about this location is that Albertsons and Walmart are less than a mile away, just down the street. Very convient highway access too. We will be using this as one of our favorite stops in the future. read more

I brought a bunch of students to Roseburg for a conference. I reserved 8 rooms. When we got to the hotel, the check-in process was wonderful. However, when we got upstairs, we were hit with a wall smell of marijuana. It lasted 3 of the 4 days we were there. I didn't feel good and some of my students didn't either. My refrigerator was broken. The toilet was not working properly so I had to mess with it to make it flush. One of my students had a broken fridge. Both of us were told there is nothing they can do about it. Just deal with it. My second group of students that arrived were treated poorly at the front desk. They were told there was not a credit card on file for their room, which there was, because I had someone earlier in the day swipe the card and go through first part of the check-in process so they would only need to pick up the keys. Overall, I am giving the hotel 2 stars because of most everything listed above. On a positive note, breakfast was AMAZING! The staff in the breakfast area were awesome. I liked that they only cooked as needed. This ensured fresh food. If they could make some changes, as far as improving the above mentioned items, it is a hotel worth the money. read more

Staff have always been friendly, rooms are CLEAN and updated, no weird smells, comfy beds and linens, they allow dogs for $15 fee. We made reservations but due to the current electrical failure we're unable to make it. We tried canceled well in advance prior to our reservation, they charged the card for the full amount and refuse to refund our money. We have spoken to the corporate office and they were very apologetic and stated there would be a full refund in the next 2 days but the manager at the Roseburg Sleep inn facility is still refusing to refund our money. This place offers wonderful accommodations for people traveling with doggies! We got a room close to the exit nearest the "doggie relief area" which was super awesome. It literally took 2 seconds to make it out to take our dogs to go potty. $15 for each pet, well worth it. The room was clean and well maintained. read more

I was traveling back to California from Washington and I wasn't sure how far I would get so I didn't book a hotel. This proved to not be so wise, as I was having a really difficult time finding a pet friendly hotel late that Friday night that wasn't super expensive. I have to admit it was a little expensive, and I absolutely cringe at the thought of paying $170 (including two $15 pet fees) to stay in a hotel from midnight until 5:30 in the morning, but I did it anyways because it was the last room at the hotel and the only hotel room I found under $250 for the night. If it wasn't for my window motor that decided to go out the morning of my drive, I would've slept in my car. When I checked in, Ben was extremely helpful. I told him about my window and that I was concerned to leave it out in the parking lot and it seemed to be a really busy night and the parking lot was mainly full so he allowed me to park at the entrance and assured me that he walked the front area every hour so that would be the best place for it. I really appreciated this extra help after a really long day of driving with two dogs and a broken window. It was also even closer to my room. The room itself was really nice, a perfectly adequate size and comfortable bed. Unfortunately I got almost no sleep between the people upstairs maybe playing Dance Dance Revolution or some similarly stompy game and being on the ground floor and having pretty loud people walking past my first floor door all night to get to their own rooms. I didn't call to complain about the upstairs neighbors because every time I heard it, I fell back to sleep and assumed it would go away. I didn't even have an ounce of energy to walk over and pick the phone up. At 3:30, I almost just got up and left the hotel, but decided that I might as well enjoy the $30 an hour bed space that I'd paid for. There was a breakfast getting set up when I left at 5:30 in the morning so I grabbed a banana and went about my way. It looked like they were going to have quite a few hot items as well so you could save money on breakfast. read more

My children and I try to get a hotel with a pool one or two weekends a month and we stayed here the first time a weekend ago and decided this was going to be our spot. Its clean, there's microwave and mini fridge,hair dryer iron&board, tv/internet a great breakfast and of course the pool The environment is always friendly and Krystal the manager I've personally dealt with, she knows her job, she's good at it, she's went out of her way to make it work for us. My fiancee and I stayed here with our two cats while traveling from Nevada to Washington. The hotel was nice, especially its proximity to Applebees. Breakfast was a joke, the apples weren't very good and I managed to finagle the last cheese danish. I didn't get a chance to check out the pool either. I am a veteran waiting for an apartment to open up in Roseburg. I have been living here for 80 days. The managers are horribly rude not only to their guests but also to the staff . The manager actually let someone in my room (whom i knew only because she is a friends daughter), she unlocked the door and let her in and left her there. when i arrived back from town i found the girl asleep in my bed with the door propped open. I immediately kicked her out. I should have gone through her luggage because she stole several pieces of expensive jewelry from me. The manager evicted ME. read more

Now an EconoLodge, it's really not too bad. I travel A LOT and am a Hilton Diamond member. Since there were zero Hilton properties near this area where we needed to stay the night, we chose this "diamond-in-the-rough". The only reason this property doesn't get four stars is VERY thin linen/blanket/pillows and absolutely horribly small towels. But in this town, you could do a lot worse. A LOT. Free wireless internet? Yes. However, it's very slow and the signal is week. I chose to tether to my phone since I had 4G. A lot faster. Restaurant for dinner? Applebees in the Parking lot. And it's one of the better ones with good small-town service and consistent food. A winner! The rooms are a bit awkward but I liked them. Old style tv but able to swivel and a lot of channels. AC and Heat worked very well. Showers only... not tub. I'm fine with that. As a 200/night business taveler, I can tell you that this place, while a bit odd, isn't nearly as terrible as you think it's going to be. read more

The remodeled room we stayed in was clean and nice. However the construction for remodeling woke is up at 7 am with jack hammering and drilling. It sounded like the construction was in our room. So loud! The fitness room was out of service due to construction which is a bummer since I love exercising a bit before sitting for hours on road trips. The workers were cussing and discussing the previous night's exploits. One worker was lamenting about his itchy balls and the disease he must have caught with his encounter from some lady at the bar. Lol!!! On the plus side, there is free hot breakfast in the morning with eggs, muffins, toast, yogurt, juices, waffles, cereal, etc. This place has potential to be very good but is currently in transition. I spent 5 nights here because my daddy was in the hospital close by. They had said that they had a special rate for those whose family was in the hospital. I had to stay longer than I had originally planned, didn't have my room cleaned the whole stay, and didn't ask for anything extra, but the price of the room went up because of "different prices for different nights". So, my daddy passed away and I was pretty upset when packing to leave, and I forgot a few things in the room. I called after I left to ask if they had gathered up my things, the woman said, "we haven't assigned that room to a new customer" and she would go up and check for me and call me back. I stopped back by a few hours later to see if they had found my things, I was told that room had new customers in it and they couldn't go look and that the cleaning crew had not said they found anything... pretty disappointed with how this was handled. Very comfortable... We were on our way from LA back up to Seattle. Every single hotel or motel from Medford up to Roseburg was booked. However, we were able to find a very nice suite at this place. We had a nearly renovated room that was clean and comfortable with what seemed like brand-new furnishings, sheets and linens. All that was left by the time we arrived was a queen suite with two queen beds and a pullout couch. It was a very large room with a microwave and a refrigerator. It was perfect for our family of four. Overall, it felt like a good value. The only reason we are not giving the Econolodge in Roseburg five stars is because the key cards gave us a little trouble and they could have done a better job vacuuming the room. Nothing major and I would definitely stay here again. read more
