Multiple TV's to watch sports or if you ask they were very cool about changing to whatever you want to watch! This place definitely is getting a lot of hate due to service & overall meh vibe, but I can attest to the fact that the owner is working hard to turn that around. She's holding staff accountable and putting all her time and energy into revitalizing the restaurant from shoddy previous ownership and it's admirable. While the food didn't necessarily blow us away, the thoughtfulness of the owner & the fact I could tell it's getting better definitely did. We got standard cheesy bread & a veggie pizza - if just 2 people would recommend skipping the appetizer as it gets very filling otherwise - and both were on par with what we expect from these items. The thing that definitely blew us away was the owner connecting with us regarding our Indian heritage and making a special paneer pizza dish she makes her daughter. Amazing! The thoughtfulness was just so nice and refreshing. Please give this place a chance. They're trying really hard and in today's day and age, that is worth so much. read more

If I could I would give this place zero stars, I stopped by months ago while visiting and left because I saw a huge rat run behind the bar the server tried to convince me I was seeing things but I know for sure it was a rat because I also saw droppings along the wall. I decided to go back recently while in Atlanta visiting a friend who convinced me the place was ok to grab a slice of pizza I agreed to meet him there which was a horrible mistake, the smell is of dead animals trapped in the walls, because my friend had already ordered & was waiting on the food to be ready I tried my best to be a good sport and wait it out, I got up to use the restroom it was disgusting smelled twice as bad as the restaurant and had urine all over the floor and toilet seat, I went back to the table and told my buddy we needed to find another place to go, we sat and waited for the his food that seemed to be taking forever which was very odd considering the restaurant was so empty, the Indian man in the kitchen seemed like he had no clue what he was doing, when the food finally arrived the pizza was horribly soggy & my buddy said it taste old like it was made days before As i waited for him to finish I noticed roaches crawling on the floor & that was the last straw for me I got out of there & trust me I'll never make the mistake of visiting this dump again what a horrific experience. read more

Restaurant re-opened a few weeks ago and has always been a favorite. I would recommend staying away. Looks like new management has messed up the service. Food is okay but service is terribly slow. 55 minutes to get two slices yesterday when the restaurant was 25% full. I hear similar feedback from friends that have visited since re-opening. Walking into slice was like walking into a living room of your pal who has a sweet bar, that single buddy with no kids and a great job! It's got a level of comfort you dont find often. In the ATL for work we stumbled upon slice. We didnt have a slice but the slices looked huge and delicious. I did have a couple of local beers and a delicious calzone with meatballs, green olives and artichoke hearts. The staff was cordial and seemed genuinely happy to be at work, which made it even more inviting on top of having a giant over stuffed couch as you walk in and a galaxia machine in the far corner. Like I said well off buddies living room vibe.. You know you found a good one when it's a tiny little joint on a back alley street but the doors are being blow off with carry out orders. Ordered delivery from here recently as we were from out of town and Slice was fairly close to our hotel. We ordered a bacon pizza and a cheese pizza. Our pizza came and the bacon pizza was more well done than the cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was almost undercooked. You would think since both pizzas were ordered at the same time they would be cooked the same, but they weren't for some reason. The pizza itself to me was average at best. There wasn't much sauce at all and the bacon pizza didn't have much bacon on it. I wasn't impressed with it and wouldn't order it again. We also asked for plates and napkins since we were in a hotel and we didn't get plates or napkins. Our delivery guy also informed us that it took so long to be delivered because the restaurant had forgotten to put the order in until he got there to pick it up. read more

Stumbled upon this place as I walking around my hotel searching for late night food. I ordered the Bianca pizza which was made of roma tomatoes, basil and ricotta cheese. When the pizza arrived, I was surprised to see that there were whole raw slices of tomatoes in way slice. When I read Roma tomatoes on the menu, I assumed that that's what would be used to make the pizza sauce if anything. To my surprise, the tomato slice actually went really well with the rest of the pizza. The pizza wasn't overly cheesy or too oily, and the crust was just the right amount of crispy. I really like Slice! The Slices of pizza are delicious but a little overpriced. Then again, it's downtown so I'm not surprised. They had a great selection of pizza slices! I ordered the Sweet Pea slice which included spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and feta cheese for $5.50 each. The toppings were plentiful and the slice was big but 2 hours later, I was hungry again. Next time, I'll probably order two slices. Wow just well our Valentines weekend was really capped off with some of the best service ever. After getting in very late from a show downtown as we're walking in our hotel (The American ) we decide we want pizza. Called multiple places everyone denied delivery or didn't even answer. Slice employees did answered the phone and I don't remember who I was talking to but she told me she will take my order to make sure it gets in before they close and call me back for payment. She did and agreed to pick us up large bottles of water and coke from the quick stop. The service called when they arrived in the lobby. Pizza was perfectly delicious and really prob prevented us from having a bad night after all them drinks at the show. Thank you slice. read more

I can only comment on the pizza I ordered. I decided to try Slice, because I figured with a name like that the pizza would be pretty good. I was disappointed of the quality of pizza I got for the price. Obviously a frozen crust topped with a sprinkling of cheese and put on a conveyor belt oven. Not what I hand in mind when I wanted a feed my family for lunch. As for the decor and restaurant. I was impressed. This place is great. I work across the street, so Slice is one of my go-to lunch spots, especially in inclement weather. I have never dined in, but have ordered a dozen of pick up orders through Eatstreet. This location is popular and has nice ambiance and a few outdoor tables. I usually get custom pizza slices - light cheese, extra sauce, and sliced tomatoes and a side salad with their balsamic. Slice makes my pizza perfect, which is hard to find! I love their crust, and their chef is nice and accommodating. I've also had the Honey Bee sandwich, which I would not order again because I didn't care for the flavor of the chicken and it was heavier than I expected. Everyone that works here is friendly and my orders have never been delayed - always ready within 20 minutes. You can't go wrong ordering a slice from Slice! read more

Ordered a small pizza with a water and mixed drink. The pizza was very good and came to the table without much of a wait. Never got the water and was never asked how everything was once I had the meal which was disappointing. They added several charges for my bill which made one drink and a small pizze come to $45!!!!!!! The person I asked said it is customary in Atlanta to add the tip to the bill. I do not live here but work downtown about a week a month and have never had any other restaurant add a tip to the bill. The tip seemed well over 20% and they did not deserve 20% as they never even asked if the meal was okay, didn't bring my water and weren't really that friendly. there were other "service fees" added to thebill as well. There was a left over bill from another customer at the next table and his bill did not have a tip added to the bill so I question the truth of the employee. Seriously. $45 for a small pizza and a drink? I left feeling taken advantage of and getting poor service to boot. In addition to adding the tip to the bill they STILL had a line for a tip which makes me think they want to trick or decieve the customers into double tipping. not nice. So. . . I loved this place in college but man has it fallen from grace. I think it's still decent in comparison to chain restaurants BUT do NOT use DoorDash, it's really difficult for them to get the order right. I've had them replace Large pizzas with Slices twice and when I call, they are ridiculously unsympathetic. The last time, I was told by the manager, that I would have to call DoorDash to notify them that the restaurant messed my order up OR I could come pick it up. No apology, just excuses. When I asked why this was a reoccurring issue, the manager shared that a lot of different people read the orders. . . Umm what!? So no one there can read orders? Overall, mistakes happen, but it's pretty obviously they aren't loosing sleep over customer service. read more

Great food and plenty of drink options. Visited this location during my work stay in Atlanta. Restaurant is conveniently located in the center of downtown Atlanta. Menu is pretty interesting and offer quite few options. They do have a full bar with many beer options. Owners (Kunita, Kalpesh and Mitesh) are super friendly and during my visit I noted they were treating their customers like family friends. This review is not about bad pizza. In fact, the pizza was quite good. I came here cause I was by myself and craving pizza and it was the only place that seemed to offer pizza by the slice. I thought it would be a quick experience because I was just ordering a slice. This was not the case. It turned out to be the longest I've ever waited for food in my life - no exaggeration. I ordered 1 slice and it took about 40 minutes to get it. I was still hungry cause the pieces are kind of thin so I ordered another one. I thought for sure that the second piece would come out more quickly. I also ordered garlic knots thinking I could eat those while waiting. It turns out I ended up waiting another 1.5 hrs for the next slice and the garlic knots. How can garlic knots be considered an appetizer if it takes them just as long to make them as it does the food? In total I waited over 2 hrs for 2 slices of pizza and some garlic knots. The only reason I stuck around was cause I was super hungry and they kept saying it was almost done. The bartender (christian) was super nice and helpful and I could tell he was trying his best to play damage control with all of the unhappy customers. Everyone had to wait forever for their pizza and everyone was pissed. You can't just blame everything on COVID and say that you are super slow because you are low manned. That excuse doesn't hold water when I have to wait 2 hrs for some pizza, especially when it wasn't very busy. The pizza was good, definitely needed two slices cause they are thin crust but the slow service was the worst I've seen. To top it all off I asked if they give a military discount after I had waited patiently for more than 2 hrs and the owner just looks at me and says "nope". He should have given the whole restaurant a slow service discount for the inconvenience but he wouldn't even give me a military discount either. Hopefully this place can learn and get better cause COVID or not no one will wait that long. I was 2 minutes away from getting up and walking out when they finally brought my food. Other people did leave cause they couldn't wait any longer. They have to find a way to be more efficient in the kitchen if they want to survive. read more

We found Slice via Yelp and honestly, we were NOT disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Caroline, our waitress, made sure we had everything we needed and was very hospitable. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and it was soooo good. It came with garlic bread, which was probably the best garlic bread I've ever had. They also had a deal where you could order a pitcher of a selected beer. I'm a fluffy kind of guy so I love everything related to pizza. I have to say that pizza slice that I had was good and I love that they butter the crust but since I didn't try the fresh pizza I can't give it a detailed review. The Stromboli however was delicious! I really enjoyed and ate The entire Stromboli in one sitting and I wanted one to take home. You could tell it was wrapped to order and the dough was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. This place saved our lives after a big school event. They were open until 11 and have a full bar, need I say more? Yes! At first I wasn't fond of my calzone because of the ricotta mixed with mozzarella instead of pure mozzarella, but the marinara with Parmesan and basil and garlic cloves melded it all together into a very happy and now full belly! Special shout out to the stiff pour for teachers, the others asked about a teacher discount but were more than happy with the pour instead. I would never get a slice from here but that's me, it's either a whole zza or nothing, not adding toppings to a half baked slice... that doesn't work in my book. Open late. Super cheap. Nice pizzas. Some decent beers. This pizza joint is a quintessential student pub. Although full grown adults (they could have been students? Definitely not undergraduate students) were taking shots at the bar. Our larger group of 8 were seated at a table near the bar. Our server took our drink and pizza orders before leaving us alone for the next 15 minutes or so when our pizza finally came out. In the meantime she was busy tidying up outside, and we didn't see her around our table much. We ordered two pizzas to share, although I only got the chance to try the one closest to me. I believe we ordered the baked potato pizza, which was quite delicious to the late night munching belly. I was grabbing my slice when all of a sudden the platter tilted over and slid three slices straight to the floor, taking my friends pants and another friends shoes as casualties. I think the server failed to place the the tin pizza tray properly over the pizza tin holder.
