My husband calls this spot a hidden gem. I was looking for pizza spots...something to go along with an exciting Lakers vs Warriors game. Came upon this spot and wow!!! This may end up becoming our regular spot now. The dough is delicious and I'm usually not one to eat the crust..but I added the garlic parmesan spread to it and that definitely leveled up the pizza. The pizza was custom with pepperoni, red onion, spinach and mushroom. Apparently when my husband went to pick it up, the person working was sad to see the pizza go Thank you for such a memorable pizza and we can't wait to come back!!

Best pizza around here. Enjoyed some live music to boot. The Pizza lab was amazing. Perfect NYC style crust.

We are so happy to have discovered a source of top-quality pizza right here in the Willows neighborhood! We tried our first pizza today and it didn't disappoint. The crust is thin and chewy, the red sauce and aged mozzarella tasty, and the toppings flavorful. We got sausage, black olives, mushrooms, and red onions. The eight slices could feed 4 people. We interacted with Matt, who is super friendly and kind. We will be back!

Not worth the price. Only size available is large. I paid over $30 for 2 toppings and toppings are very skimpy.

Service was fine. You order at the counter and the pizza is delivered to your table. Pretty standard. I was there on a Friday night. It was quiet and empty at about 8. Then at about 9, they had a DJ come in. Still maybe only 25 people. I loved the music. It was mostly 90s pop/dance music (Color Me Badd, PM Dawn). They even had some cool lights. The owner was cool. I chatted with him for a few seconds when he came to "apologize" for the music. He obviously didn't need to. I loved it. Oh and the bathroom had a cool light fixture. So why 4 stars? Well getting there is a pain. You have to make a full right U turn off a main street. They do have signage that helps. But the real problem is the parking. Their lot allows maybe 6 cars total for 3 business. And my guess is employees have most of them. Other than that it's street parking and it's packed. Both me and the person who joined me had to circle the block a couple times. I still had to walk about two blocks. It was also overpriced. ~$25 for a two topping, 12 inch pizza is a bit absurd. That's more on par for a 16 inch. Also, soda is by the bottle. No fountain. Not factored in because I got the one small table, but their setup is only two small tables, one of which was "reserved". The rest were set up in long rows. They can separate them. I honestly think they should.

We ordered a Large pie with Pepperoni and Mushrooms. The restaurant has coupons at the front so I would recommend ordering in store. Without it, the pie would have been between $30 and $40. The pizza was piping hot and it was delicious. I ended up eating 3 slices in a row before I could make it home. My only issue is the reheat value. When I put it back into the oven the next day, it tasted different from the day before. It's one of those things where you have to try it to understand rather than me explain it in words. Overall I would come back here again but I'll probably have to get a bigger pie.

However, after the incident, observation and order of food I received on 6/13/26, I cannot support this location. As mentioned we always had a pleasant experience at this location, with great service and great food. But this day the entire staff was off, and it was mainly due to the negative, micromanaging and rude manager/owner Partika. From the moment I walked in the establishment the vibe seemed completely off than what I was use to from past visits. It was scorching hot inside and the employees looked miserable. I quickly figured out why, as I placed my order with the gentleman upfront who was doing a great job, and here comes Partika hovering over him and reaching over him re-asking my order, although the employee had already entered it in and was simply trying to ask if I wanted to add anything else. Once done and paid, she then moves to the back counter and begins to holler over to the employees in the back about hurrying up with tickets, although they weren't very busy. I stood to the side as I had ordered a slice to grab now for my child, and then a full pizza and wings to go. Upon waiting, Partika approaches and tells me to sit down. I looked at her and told her it was not her discretion and I would await the slice to come right out as I already discussed with the employee. Once I obtain the slice i exit and wait in my vehicle in front of establishment. Out comes Partika harassing two men who had just finished up their pizza when I originally walked in and were still sitting at one of the table now having a refreshment from the adjoining establishment. She told them they could not sit at the tables they were reserved for her customers, and they told her they had just ate there and she begin to argue that now they had to move . Be advised there were many tables outside that any guest could choose from and her establishment was far from busy. Once my order was ready, I went back inside , and again she was arguing with another customer who stated the pizza she attempted to hand her was not hers if she could double check. Her rude comment was yes this is yours and the customer explained no her receipt clearly showed this was not her order. The gentleman apologized for the entire ordeal I had experienced and seen and gave me my order , in which I asked who she was and her name for reference. She then bolted towards me asking what the problem in which I told her the issue is she is very rude to very customer I had seen her interact with in the last 20 minutes. Fast forward to arriving home to now enjoy pizza and wings with my family. Open the box and the cheese is stuck to the top bc they failed to properly package it to avoid this mishap. Furthermore several of the winds were undercooked which could have created severe illness. I blame her presence, bad attitude and rushing her staff for these issues. I love the Tony Gemignani pizza brand but this Slice House in Mountain View has a terrible manager/ owner Partika who needs better customer service skills as well as management skills. I much rather have spent $100 with an establishment who had good customer interaction and treated their staff with respect.

When I when inside Amici's I thought I was going to have a great time because of the beautiful interior. It was fascinating how they were able to make an every day family restaurant look romantic and vibey. Probably the dimly lit atmosphere and warmth of the restaurant! I ordered the small baked penne parmigiana with eggplant (a vegetarian option), and cheesy garlic bread (a vegetarian option too). I found the baked penne parmigiana with eggplant really bland. I really needed the salt and pepper around. Sauce was the perfect amount, but there was not enough eggplant. I found at most 3 slices in my bowl. I particularly liked the eggplant; I liked its soft texture, but not to the point where it's mushy. (Many restaurants make their eggplant mushy) From the bowl, I thought "this is actually smaller than I thought", but actually, it was surprising how it was pretty filling! When I finished it, boy I was STUFFED! The cheesy garlic bread was also pretty mediocre. Things to point out are that there wasn't enough garlic aroma. More just cheesy bread. The reheat was the problem. The person upfront didn't leave it in long enough, so it came out extremely floppy. Other locations crisp it up more. Just leave it in another minute or two or put it on a hotplate and you're set. Service wasn't bad, just not as dialed in. We've never complained, requested discounts, or made an issue out of minor inconveniences because we understand that mistakes happen. Unfortunately, my recent experience was different--not because Jenny forgot to place my order, but because of how the situation was handled. I placed an order and was told it would arrive within 45-50 minutes. After more than an hour and fifteen minutes had passed with no pizza, no delivery update, and no communication, I called the store. Initially, I was told the store was closed and no longer accepting calls, but I insisted on speaking with someone because I had a confirmed order and two young children waiting for dinner. When I finally spoke with the store manager, Jenny, I was informed that my order had been canceled. What was most frustrating was that no one had contacted me to let me know. We live within the delivery area and have ordered from this location many times without issue. When I asked why no one had notified me, Jenny claimed she had called multiple times and left a voicemail. However, I had no missed calls and no voicemail messages. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, she became dismissive, argumentative, and ultimately hung up on me. As a customer, I wasn't looking for special treatment. I simply wanted honest communication and a solution. Being told information that did not match my phone records and then having the conversation ended abruptly was both unprofessional and disappointing. What concerns me most is the lack of leadership displayed throughout this interaction. Management is about much more than showing up on time or completing daily tasks. Effective leaders demonstrate accountability, professionalism, empathy, communication, and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations. Customer-facing management positions require strong interpersonal skills, especially when handling frustrated customers. In this case, those qualities were noticeably absent. On another day I called back to discuss the incident and was told by Jenny (just my luck) that the other manager, Carmen, had been informed of the situation... she was so nonchalant about it. Despite that, no one ever reached out to me to follow up, address the concerns, or apologize. For a customer who has supported this location for over two decades, the lack of ownership and follow-through was extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen. Orders get delayed, deliveries fall through, and unforeseen issues arise. What defines a business is how those situations are handled. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor communication, poor customer service, and a concerning lack of leadership from management. Jenny may hold the title of manager, but this experience did not reflect professionalism, accountability, or leadership.
