Pizza is decent (and that's saying a lot coming from a New Yorker). Service is solid, prices run a little high for pizza, but I still grab a slice whenever I'm in the area taking my dog to the park. Easy, convenient stop if you're nearby

Potentially the worst pizza I've ever had. Ordered a large Rico's Favorite, the pizza came sitting on top of a pool of grease. I understand pizza is going to be greasy and there's plenty of pizza shops that you have to dab with a paper towel on top. 3/4 of the under carriage was saturated in grease. It was soggy and greasy and each of us had one slice and threw it out. I don't like blasting small businesses like this, but if I was the owner and someone game me a pizza like this, I would be ashamed. Everyone has bad days and maybe this was just a bad day but wow was this a tough first time trying Slice on Broadway.

Let me start by saying Slice USED to be a staple in our household...by used to I mean we will no longer support or order from this business again. The quality over the last year has gone wayyyyy down hill. Sauce is now flavorless, crust is super thin (see attached picture), and they barely include toppings as if to encourage customers to spend more just to have an adequate amount of topping (see in picture). We asked for pepperoni and mushrooms and barely any came on the pizza. Might as well have just ordered a plain pizza with how little came on it. Slice is likely trying to cut corners to save costs but unfortunately they just lost a loyal customer. This pizza was TRASH!!!!!!!! For $40, save your money people!! I mean damn, even Pizza Hut stays consistent lol

Another great pizza option in Pittsburgh. Thin crust, great sweet sauce (in my opinion), typical pizza cheese blend. Quick prompt service, great resourceful Togo packaging. Clean pickup. Would order again.

I honestly don't know how this place isn't rated higher. I see older reviews dragging the rating down, but we order delivery here regularly and I think it deserves a better rating. The pizza here is great. It's more floppy thin crust, but the flavor is so good. There are exactly zero other pizza places that I can order delivery and say it's good (in my area). The sauce, cheese, toppings and crust are always tasty. Now, sometimes the pizza arrives avid it looks like it got knocked around a bit and the cheese is a little shifted, but that's going to happen with delivery. I can think of a couple of times that the pizza wasn't great, crust burnt, but I've been ordering from this place for nearly as long as they've been delivering and I'd say that's a pretty solid record of great orders over that math years (it's got to be more than 10yrs). The ginormous pizza feeds us for DAYS (two people). It's a thrill haha The sandwiches, I've rarely deviated from the spicy Italian. SO GOOD. The only complaint I have is that I'm pretty sure it's gotten smaller for the price over the years (shrinkflation?) Sometimes the bread is a little more toasted than I'd like, but it's never bad or inedible. I can't bring myself to order any other Sammie's because I love this one too much. We didn't order the sandwich on our last delivery, but I have included pics of the pizza. Can't wait to order again.

We've ordered delivery from Slice on several occasions and have never been disappointed! The pizza is always hot and delicious when it's delivered! Today we got the Alotta Ricotta and my god it's my new favorite! The crispy prosciutto, fresh basil, and ricotta sauce was perfection!

This is a unique style and I love it. The sauce was amazing, the ricotta cheese was so delicious and their meatballs were tremendous. What I loved was the crust - it had some chew and some tug; there was a little bit of char on the outside and the bottom. The meatballs were delicious and that sauce! The vodka sauce was perfect. I would have thought I would have missed the standard cheese on a pizza but the ricotta was super good. I placed my order on their website and it was easy; I was able to pay using my Apple Pay, which was a plus. We arrived and it was ready but we stood talking to the men in the shop and they were so kind. They asked us questions about us when they learned we had, recently, moved here. It comes with vodka sauce, Lupe's meatballs, house cheese blend, fresh mozzarella, ricotta, and fresh basil leaves. Nicely charred crust. All cheese is blended together and piped in rosettes on top of the pizza. Tastes so good and looks amazing. Walk in the front door and give your name for pickup. To the right are a couple upright cold cases filled with drinks, salad, etc. Located a short 15 minute drive from Shadyside. Can't wait to return and try more pizza.

As a new Yorker, it's so very hard to impress me when it comes to Pizza! I'm the pickiest! A true pizza snob! But this place was well worth all the hype! Underrated if you ask me! All of the staff were very friendly, and helped me decide what to try. It definitely gives "family vibes" as soon as you walk in there. It's the definition of a hole in the wall, but I loved it. I live all the way in east Pittsburgh by plum and I drive ALLL the way over to Brookline, through the tunnels and under the bridges and over the bridges and under the tunnels again LOL. Its 100% worth the drive. No other pizza will do. Also the provolone Sticks are to die for. Literally, I almost died. So cheesy! Be warned its a mouth full haha.

The sauce is sweet and the cheese is a nice blend. Call in or walk in ordering. They do now take credit cards but charge a fee. Two slides of pepperoni is ~$10. There are a few tables if you want to eat in. Place gets super busy. Cell service is pretty non existent, this plays in if you want to tap and pay.

I tried a black cherry ale that was delicious. My husband got a Vienna lager he enjoyed. He got the black and gold pizza with potatoes, garlic sauce, pepper, res onion parmesan, and provolone. It is fired in their brick oven with a crispy crust. He enjoyed it but it was a little over done and it was hard to distinguish the toppings as the char was heavy. I got the carbonara. It was definitely not traditional. The sauce was very thick and almost floury. They serve it with pork belly, which does not give the same punch of flavor to cut through the sauce as guanchali or bacon. The papardelle noodle were dry and clumpy. The dish was very heavy. Do not recommend. The place is chill. It is close to the theater. I might try it again if in the area.

I'm giving a 1 because all the components were therebut the pizza was cooked and incorrectly…read more I've a customer here for quite some time. This shop will cook your pizza half cooked, as a lot of people like. We like ours well done cooked even longer than maybe the traditional cook time so we always request that. When my son went to pick up our pizza it was already sitting on the counter it had not been 15 since minutes since the order was placed. When he grabbed the box it was kinda wet on the bottom of box so we don't know if they set it on the counter on top of something ,but it was more than just extra sauce and onions that made the soggy like they assumed. We tried to recook it and when we took the pizza out of the box all the cardboard inside of the box was wet like something had been literally poured inside the box. I could barely get it out because it was so soggy it was falling apart. We live less than 5 minutes driving time so it was not from steam and cooking it more once we got home did not help it was that wet.. I have never seen pizza that soggy. I had my son call and they did not offer anything except advice on not to order onions or extra sauce when its humid out. We would have like a re-cooked pizza and to return the one we had especially since we had company. It was too wet to pick up a slice and inedible. So, if the owners see this maybe they'd like to somehow rectify it because now I have to start my grill to feed my company. Furthermore, if a customer orders extra sauce and onions on a pizza that.we are asking to be cooked well done an your only job is to cook pizza, you should advise the customer that it won't be crisp. We've ordered it that way before.. and as I said this was far beyond just soggy it was literally wet..and the 2 that ventured to eat it ,now have a stomach ache. It was most certainly undercooked and so wet it couldn't even be rebaked.

I absolutely adore the servers here, as they're always super happy to give me new recommendations on what to order! My favorite flavors are the mango habanero and the spicy lime, but there are still so many flavors I'm excited to try. I also love ordering a side of seasoned fries and garlic bread to dip into the extra wing sauce!! Their fries and garlic bread are crispy to perfection; you genuinely won't find better anywhere else. I also tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza as per their recommendation, and it was soooo cheesy and yummy! Aside from the food being so delicious, my favorite part about coming here is the sense of community you get.
