Potentially the worst pizza I've ever had. Ordered a large Rico's Favorite, the pizza came sitting on top of a pool of grease. I understand pizza is going to be greasy and there's plenty of pizza shops that you have to dab with a paper towel on top. 3/4 of the under carriage was saturated in grease. It was soggy and greasy and each of us had one slice and threw it out. I don't like blasting small businesses like this, but if I was the owner and someone game me a pizza like this, I would be ashamed. Everyone has bad days and maybe this was just a bad day but wow was this a tough first time trying Slice on Broadway. read more

Let me start by saying Slice USED to be a staple in our household...by used to I mean we will no longer support or order from this business again. The quality over the last year has gone wayyyyy down hill. Sauce is now flavorless, crust is super thin (see attached picture), and they barely include toppings as if to encourage customers to spend more just to have an adequate amount of topping (see in picture). We asked for pepperoni and mushrooms and barely any came on the pizza. Might as well have just ordered a plain pizza with how little came on it. Slice is likely trying to cut corners to save costs but unfortunately they just lost a loyal customer. This pizza was TRASH!!!!!!!! For $40, save your money people!! I mean damn, even Pizza Hut stays consistent lol read more

I honestly don't know how this place isn't rated higher. I see older reviews dragging the rating down, but we order delivery here regularly and I think it deserves a better rating. The pizza here is great. It's more floppy thin crust, but the flavor is so good. There are exactly zero other pizza places that I can order delivery and say it's good (in my area). The sauce, cheese, toppings and crust are always tasty. Now, sometimes the pizza arrives avid it looks like it got knocked around a bit and the cheese is a little shifted, but that's going to happen with delivery. I can think of a couple of times that the pizza wasn't great, crust burnt, but I've been ordering from this place for nearly as long as they've been delivering and I'd say that's a pretty solid record of great orders over that math years (it's got to be more than 10yrs). The ginormous pizza feeds us for DAYS (two people). It's a thrill haha The sandwiches, I've rarely deviated from the spicy Italian. SO GOOD. The only complaint I have is that I'm pretty sure it's gotten smaller for the price over the years (shrinkflation?) Sometimes the bread is a little more toasted than I'd like, but it's never bad or inedible. I can't bring myself to order any other Sammie's because I love this one too much. Everything! Pizza crust was cardboard! Calzone was about a 1/4 inch high. Crust also like cardboard. Hoagie came on what looked like a French baguette. It's like they didn't use water when making the dough. Better off putting ketchup on an Amazon box and throwing my money out on the street. read more

I am mad that I believed the reviews and awards. WTH!! I just spend $60 and my 3 yr old won't even eat it. Pizza was hard borderline stale tasting crust, with what tasted like American cheese both cheese and sauce were skimpy, The salad greens were wilted beyond recognition. My chicken parm was the worst! cubes of processed rubbery chicken with no breading on top of a mound of overcooked starchy noodles, Inedible! I am sorry. Ordered a small Athens pizza with extra toppings and small salad. Thank god weather is cold. The pizza came here ice cold with hardly feta cheese at all. I am heating up it up my oven right and happened to some mozzarella that I added. I am sorry. I never do this but my order was at least. $45.00 and left a 20% tip plus the driver some cash. It just was not good after waiting two hours to get it. read more

Tonight was my first time trying Slice on Broadway after hearing great things, and I quite possibly had the best experience out of any of the pizza shops I've been to. I ordered my pizza (accidentally) 20 minutes before closing, and the guys on the other end of the phone didn't even hint at being upset. My pizza was ready as soon as I got there, and it was my favorite pizza in all of Pittsburgh, but that isn't what made my experience so great. When I called, I asked be guys if the salad was big enough for two people and the guy on the receiving end said not really, but he could do his best for me since they were getting ready to close. When I picked up my pizza it was dark out, and the guy who already went out of his way to give me a little bigger of a salad then walked me to my car to ensure my safety. You don't find quality like that too often. I will absolutely be returning! read more

I can't rave enough about this place!!!!! Just amazing. We ate in and brought our own beer. It is BYOB. For a six pack, it was a $5 fee. Not bad at all! One of the guys working gave us frozen beer glasses to keep our beers cold! Very thoughtful. We had a bunch of different pizzas at our table. They were all delicious! We had a thicker crust red sauce pizza with bacon and sliced steak, thin crust red sauce half cheese & pepp bacon and banana peppers, a margarita pizza, and a thin crust white sauce bacon and prosciutto pizza!! All were soooo good. Not chunky sauce. The crusts on all the pizzas were cooked perfectly. We are all extremely picky about pizza and were a little skeptical at first when arriving, but it was great!! We can't wait to come back again. The service was great. Staff was all very friendly. One of the staff even walked one of the ladies home that had a cane. Overall, wonderful customer service. Willing to go above and beyond. read more

Really good pizza. Slice will probably become one of the pizza places in our regular rotation of pizza shops. The crust is thinner with some crispness but not to hard. The sauce is really nice with some of the Italian spice and good tomato flavor. We also had the little guy salad and we were able to add a couple of extra veggies at no extra cost. read more

I ordered delivery. I got a large Garden Pie, which was loaded with delicious toppings, much more variety than your typical "veggie lovers pizza" at any other pizza place. My friends thought the pizza was a bit too thin, and fell apart due to so many toppings, but I didn't mind it much. But this was kind of more than a knife-and-fork pizza! The big guy salad was fresh and delicious. They included more than one ranch dressing for the salad, which I appreciate because i split it with my friend. Slice, in my opinion, has superior, unique, quality ingredients. They have a smaller menu than typical shops, because what they do, they do it very well! Every time I get Slice, I wonder why I get pizza anywhere else! I would highly recommend them for a change from your run of the mill pizza experience. It's no wonder why their locations have popped up all over the south hills. Support small business! Especially for pizza night! read more

This is probably the best pizza I have had in Pittsburgh. It's a shame that other places can't seem to get it right. I have only ever gotten slices from here. I am sure a whole pie would be good too. The crust was crisp without the whole dough being over cooked. The sauce had a sweetness to it. The cheese was solid. Simple ingredients but put together and cooked the right way can make all the difference. The parking around the place can be busy so off hours may be better times to go. read more

Great pizza if you are a fan of very thin slices. The ingredients are definitely fresh which makes for a great flavor. Also, the pizza is cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crisp. They also have a great house made ranch which goes well with the pizza. I also had the breadsticks and a buffalo chicken roll. Neither of these were very good, so I will stick to just the pizza when I come back. On top of the good food, the service here was great for a pizza shop. Every worker was extremely friendly with the customers including myself. They check to make sure your order is right and also made sure to hold the exit door as people walked out with their food. read more

There aren't any options for drinks in the refrigerator that aren't super sugary or "diet," i.e. no seltzer waters or juices, just sodas, lemonades, and sweet teas. But if you're hungry for a slice of pizza two times as large as your face, you know where you can find it!
