We came here on a Sunday for lunch and it was a shame it was only us and one other group in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and after realising it was our first time there, they brought us out a first timers platter with a chicken tender, chips, coleslaw, mac and cheese and potato salad - it was only small but a nice gesture - they also let us sample some of their dipping sauces - they have about 15. We all had their spicy chicken sandwich which was great but a little on the small side. The fries were tasty, a nice sized portion. If I could give a zero star rating I would! Staff don't seem to care about the business much less customer service! Restroom was filthy, I saw a staff member in the restroom, she left without washing her hands to return behind the register! None of the servers were wearing gloves and they were handing out food and drinks with their darn hands over the cup that your mouth must touch! The fact that the door dash menu showed a price increase on the 5 Tender meal then the restaurant refused to send a drink with a doordasher is just not acceptable. If you don't want to send drinks, don't charge more and don't put drinks on your DoorDash menu. Secondly, the jar desserts are completely inconsistent as shown in picture. Some days you get a great one, some days you get half whipped cream. Location is terrible, Employees are extremely unprofessional and inappropriate in front of guests. Drove back across town and told the girl at the register what happened, she turned around, grabbed out third bag of food from a holding tray and said "Oh yeah, here it is." The food had sat there for over 30 minutes but she was ok handing it to me and expecting me to eat it cold. Never offered to give us a hot meal to replace the cold one. Came on opening day, and the drive-thru was much shorter than expected, and the girl was kind, but let's get to what actually want to know. I ordered a 3x3 which consisted of three chicken tenders, three Buffalo wings, fries and Texas toast (garlic bread?). I asked for sweet chili sauce, but ended up with BBQ. I was really disappointed because I had been wanting to try the chili sauce, but had it not been for ANY sauce I couldn't have managed to eat any of the chicken. Although it was fresh, hot, and juicy it was completely tasteless. [Ignore that guy who's review said the chicken tasted better than Chick Fil A, he doesn't have the slightest clue what he's talking about.] I moved on to the Buffalo wings, which I had high hopes for, but to my disappointment they were very thin and the meat had a funny taste, as if it had been kept in the freezer for too long. I would say it was at the same level as microwaveable wings from Walmart. The only enjoyable parts of my meal were the French fries and the Texas toast. The Texas toast tasted more like garlic bread, which was a-okay with me and had an oil/butter a lot like the garlic butter that Pizza Hut uses on their crust. DELICIOUS, but you'll definitely need a pack of gum. Currently, the 3x3 is going at $10.50 before taxes. If a fair price and chicken flavor aren't high on your list of requirements for eating at a fast food chicken place, then you can stop reading this. But if you're like me and don't douse your chicken strips in sauce but prefer a dip every other bite, you'd do better to go down the street to Chick Fil A or stop at Canes or Zaxbys for your tender fix. $10.50 can get you a lot more food than 3 small tenders, or go to Wingstop and get a REAL wing combo with an entire basket of fries. UPDATE: Since my last review I have returned about 5 times and had absolutely no problems in the flavor department and have tried a variety of things on the menu. I get off of work late and this one of the only other places besides Maccer that I can swing by. Pros: whatever you order is freshly made, and usually you get a lot of whatever side you order since it's all for you. Cons: it takes a little longer than usual since there is usually only a couple of employees and they have started the closing process, which I don't fault them for. I work retail, so I know how it is. They've always been attentive, even for kids, so I'm happy about that. This place is dirty. There's two other tables occupied in this whole place and every other table is dirty with food all on the both benches and or on the tables. Food on the floors, tables are wobbly. We had to move to three different tables to find a decently clean one with no wobbly table. I expect more from Mansfield. I'm a school bus driver and I tried to grab some dinner and the manger wasn't willing to even try to help accommodate me since the Lobby is closed for repair i tried going thru the drive thru and no one answered for 3-5 minutes , so I walked up to the window once it freed up thinks that they probably were busy only to come to a manger telling me that he was purposely ignoring me. even after I explain the situation to him he says he's not gonna help me and to leave. Not bad for a 15-min sampling on a Thursday night. + When she got out of the car, my kid said, "Mmhh I smell something good!" which is the very opposite of what I say around some McDs. Bad signs: - When you tell the cashier it's To-Go but she marks you as Eat-In, causing the waiter to walk around looking for your number while the food gets cold. They had one order, mine and they acted as though they didn't know what I ordered or what to put in the order. I had to tell them they missed three items, and they were rude the whole time. They claimed to be out of product when I noticed that I paid for large sides but they gave me small and then refused/lied about having more product fill my large container. Tried this place for the first time with my boyfriend because we got a promotional free cayenne chicken sandwich reward after downloading their app. The place is a cute and clean open space. The cashier Kyrielle was super friendly and helped me decide on getting the Mac n cheese. They have these industrial fans that make the place extremely cold, so bring a jacket if you're going to eat in. I ordered a side of Mac n cheese and my boyfriend got their fries. The Mac n cheese was pretty good and the fries were also pretty good, well-seasoned and crisp. The main item we came for, the cayenne ranch chicken sandwich, comes with fried onion, lettuce and pickles with the cayenne ranch on the bottom. The sandwich looked delicious! It's a nice full size. The chicken was juicy. Our only complaint is that the chicken was under seasoned which sucks considering that's the main component. If they had better seasoning this would easily be a five star establishment. I also got their house lemonade which was pretty tart and needed more sugar. The best thing on the menu hands down, the dessert jar. I had to go brush my teeth in the middle of eating it so I could stop eating it! Absolutely delicious and a cute idea. I like the mason jar touch rather than more plastic. Next up is the fries, great taste, nice portion, fresh and not over salted; Great Job. The Toast was just that, toasted breast. I didn't get a hint of butter or garlic, so I wouldn't call it Garlic Toast. I tried the cayenne ranch sauce and honey bbq. Both were tasty. I didn't feel like the cayenne was the star rather it was Ranch with Cayenne for color. Still, it was needed for the chicken. The chicken was well cooked and moist. But it had absolutely no flavor. I would like to suggest the establishment create a marinade or perhaps just add some salt before breading. For the price, I expected better for a three tender plate. After all the bad reviews I read I'm glad I came in for myself. Awesome polite staff took my order. I thought the chic tasted pretty dang good. I don't like heavy breading and this is nicely breaded and the chic was cooked perfectly, not dry. The breading is seasoned nicely and the fries were really good as well. The toast was forgettable but I never want it at any of the chicken places anyways. Haven't tried the dessert yet but I'll definitely be back for that soon. Love the decor inside and the blues rock music is awesome and on a sunny day the patio would be awesome.
