My order was wrong and Ms.Rita took the time to figure out exactly what we were supposed to have and fixed it quickly. Great customer service!! The food is delicious and fried perfectly.

Placed a call in order- lady who took my order was kinda rude when I told her I want that I wanted all flats and crispy. Restaurant was VERY welcoming and clean but is kinda small. You can also dine in if you would like. They have a sign at the register that says " please put money in hand" lol! Food - (I DID NOT SEE THE COOK WEARING ANY GLOVES ) I ordered a 10 piece all flat extra crispy! The presentation was phenomenal! Wings- they are decent size but just had a little batter on them ( I dislike that) but were freshly cooked and flavorful. The wings did not have any crispy to them but again they were fresh! Side- fries (may have been cooked in the seafood grease) was super soggy with no crispy to them like my wing and had a lot of parsley! I found a piece of slice bread underneath the foil once I was done eating tho! Fried pickles- just don't order them full of grease and I slightly batter. Yes, I would most definitely go back but I will walk in to place my order and also call the cook out if they don't have on any gloves while handling food. Especially raw chicken! I'll also order my wings without the batter and make sure I tell the everything needs to be cooked well.

I loved it! I say…read more"I" as my wife wasn't as big a fan of the food as I was. We had reservations in a busy Saturday night and were seated at a comfortable 2-top. They were about full when we arrived. Not so much when we left. While I thought there was a game tonight - it's the Eagles in concert at one of the nearby stadiums. Because it was packed when we arrived, the space was fairly loud. Cheyenne was our server and she did great. She knew the menu well and made some suggestions. We had already read the Yelp reviews and sort of knew what we wanted. Two of us shared: - Margarita rocks - Pan con Tomate - Crispy Pork - Jerk Chicken Paella The Pan con Tomate was amazing. Really cool presentation too. The Crispy Pork was real nice. A bit dry due to making it crispy. Really meaty too. The Jerk Chicken Paella was great. Cheyenne told us the jerk seasoning wasn't very spicy. She was right. I would have liked it spicier though but understand the decision to appeal to a broader section of diners. The socarrat was amazing. They make the paella in a small (8"?) cast iron skillet. It made for a perfect caramelization of the rice (socarrat). The dish had jerk seasoned chicken thighs and vegetables. Yum! I would have loved to have the Coconut Cake. But we were full and it was $22. We'll come back to Cafe Americana and try other dishes and the cake!

Saturday lunch around 11:30am, not a line but they did get a bit busier. I've been here a few times…read more& I'm surprised it wasn't as busy for a weekend. It's really just great food, nothing fancy but delicious. I had the lobster roll, I came with coleslaw & fries. I'm not a coleslaw person but it was pretty good. The fries were perfect & they have that good ranch. The lobster roll itself was on Texas toast, buttery toasted goodness with meaty lobster. I'm definitely going to have to go back for this sometime soon, it was $20 for my meal. My friend had chicken strips, no complaints there & we shared a basket of fried pickles. Clean restaurant, fast service, tasty food, & friendly staff. Prices are fair, no concerns with menu options for everyone. Fun, chill place with a lot of fishing decor & photos. There's a reason why this place has been here for so long, great lunch stop!

Came on a Tuesday afternoon and had the special Caddo (tilapia and shrimp over rice with a creamy…read moresauce). It was pretty good and I was surprised at how thick the tilapia was. Shrimp on top was a little chewy, but acceptable. DH had the shrimp po boy and it really could have used four or five more shrimp. More bread than anything. I tasted his fries and they seemed to have been fried in old oil. I love hush puppies, but could only eat a small bite of the one I tried. Again, old frying oil that soaked the entire hush puppies. There are fish photos all over the walls, which are kind of fun to look at. Will be back because we have friends that like their Tuesday special, but overall the food is just OK.
