Let me just give an employee the recognition he deserves! Jake is a pinned employee with the company which means he's impressed his clientele and management, and for good reasons. It speaks a lot about a company when your employees family visits it and man, was it a pleasure sitting next to them. We consistently had staff offering to refill our drinks, to help us out in any way while we got our order. Plus. They reminded us of what southern hospitality should mean to a business with a heavy designation out south/east. Get Jake a raise and thank your staff for such great service! Food: chic fil a and canes.... Watch out. Not just is their toast better... Jake gave us the secret. Ask for the tenders to be tossed. Between the chicken wings and tenders with fries and toast. Tenders are well fried, juicy, and crispy! Pair that with a sauce of your choice. 4.5/5. Wings get a solid 5/5 from me, crispy enough to the bite, tender enough for the chew. Paired mine with the sweet chili and cayenne ranch. Fries were well seasoned and hot so that paired with the best piece of toast you can imagine. Came in during the opening week, I believe it was day 3 or day four after the grand opening, to see what's the hype all about, I heard from co-workers they are good chicken place. Came in on a busy evening rush, I was able to find parking and empty table. The place was jam packed, the drive through is also busy with long lines of cars. I ordered Chicken Tenders, it's is delicious, right amount of crisps, the chicken is moist and not dry. Friendly staff members. Rounding up. Dining room is spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and all seemed to be staying busy working hard. We got an assortment of food, fingers, wings, waffle, and mac and cheese. Generous portion for the price point. For the wings I ordered with the hot sauce and got korean and mango habanero on the side. The hot wasn't and the mango habanero weren't too spicy. We received our food and of course you guessed it, it has ranch inside because they can't read or follow instructions! They then bring me a new one with mango habanero sauce inside like bruh what are you doing? I have them remake it AGAIN with no sauce and I hand her the receipt and she says oh we don't need that. I tried coming two Fridays in a row, second time was the charm in this case. There were a few cars ahead of me but it wasn't very clear to order at the screen or with the attendant outside. I saw the car ti my right ordered at the screen. I made it ti the menu and like that there was a great variety of food options from sandwiches, chicken tenders ti wraps. In my case I ordered with the attendant. What was difficult to observe was how the manager reprimanded the young attendant for standing in an area which would not ease the car flow. I think this was maybe their second week of being open and this was a young guy trying his best: but she told him "you might as well go inside." Considering this was likely a first job there's ways of handling supervision in a more appropriate and private way. When I placed my order I inquired about the dessert pots available and was told that they were out but they had brownies; okay I'll give it a try. Upon pulling up to the cashier I thought to ask again and was told hang on let me check and sure enough they had some dessert pots available! Given the update in order the cashier forgot to ring me up and as I reminded her she says "I wouldn't have said anything!" Not my style. This place is really fun and yummy. The line is also not too long. The line was about four in front of me and took between five and ten minutes. The cashier was also very helpful with getting my free chicken sandwich coupon to pull up on my app. In addition to the chicken sandwich (breaded with a slightly spicy ranch sauce, lettuce, pickles, and a brioche bun) I also got mac and cheese which was creamy style, fried mushrooms, strawberry cheesecake dessert in a jar (very good), and a chocolate milkshake. The chicken was great. The sauce was outstanding! I can't place it by it did taste familiar. It's tangy so if tangy is not your thing skip this sauce. The toast was buttery and delightful. We were eager to try Slim Chickens and wanted a quick snack. Luckily we had a coupon for the Sriracha Chicken sandwich, so we popped in to get it, along with an order of fried pickles. On a whim, I asked for the blue cheese sauce and it was delicious, as was the chicken sandwich. We are eager to return to try other items. The fried pickles were salty, so we probably won't order them again. We visited when they first opened and there was literally a line through the parking lot for the drive through. We decided to order inside and were very impressed with how they handled this large crowd. The person taking our order was polite and very professional. The restaurant is very open with a ton of seating options. They do a good job of keeping it clean as well. The staff were welcoming and quick to offer suggestions as it was our first visit. Generally speaking, if I go to a place that just opened a week ago, I expect there may be some minor service issues that they will iron out, and I give them a pass. Sadly this visit was such an epic fail, I have to lay it all out. The typical long line of a new place. However , something was not right. All payment and ordering was done at your car, so you would think, when you got to the window, you would just take your food and leave. For some reason, the time at the window was taking as long as ordering. At some point a red haired worker comes out and shuts down one drive up line. My husband and I are thinking they must have run out of food?! After quite a bit of conversation, the red head worker sends one of the order takers inside, and then bags of food start coming out to the cars in line...hate it when they do that.it's not like you can eat it while on line. As I'm watching this, I'm thinking this isn't so bad, we will get our food and then be able to pull out of line, and leave, it's a double driveway. Sadly they were bringing out food with no drinks, so we had to wait in our car with food getting cold to finally find out when we got to the window, that their shake machine wasn't working. Happened to be over in that area and thought we'd try out the "new place". First of all they have a decent selection of menu items for just being a "chicken place". Really seems like a mix between Chick-fil-A and Raising Canes and Buffalo Wild Wings. So my wife could have a salad and I could have chicken fingers, but then I also tried the wings. (But you can also get chicken and waffles there if you want.) The service there was very friendly and helpful. I asked if the wings were all boned and she said they are, but you can get the tenders done with any of the wing sauces...so essentially you can get "boneless wings" if you wanted. The food was served quickly and hot. The sauces I tried were flavorful. They kept coming around to see if everything was OK. The manager was active in "managing". They have a rewards program on their app which is easy to get credit for (barcode from the receipt). The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Some bites were a little overcooked, which is why I didn't give them five stars the chicken is thick moist and juicy, the bacon is good, and the lettuce tomato and Sauce they put on his really good bird and the bun is kind of like a brioche bun. Very soft and tasty. The fries were average, comparable to Wendy's in texture The one place they really hit it out of the park though was the dessert.
