This place was dirty and awkward. We came here for the Awful Awful. I know the original was a hole in the wall, but this was worse. The ordering experience is confusing. The bread on my burger was crusty and stale. This isn't doing the Awful Awful any justice at all. There were also way too many fries. There's no reason for the fries and burger to come in 2 separate boxes.

    Awful awful

With how long the wait was and the amount of fries we were given it's kind of like customary for the fries to still be warm, the fries that we were given feel like chewing on a cardboard box. Given that it is 5:00 now bees fries were probably made at noon

The Brickyard at Baldini's now features the Awful Awful Burger that we used to get at The Little Nugget before it closed. But you know what? I like this Awful Awful Burger even better than the original. The beef patty is bigger. The bun is fluffy and nicely toasted. Just like at the Little Nugget before, you get more fries than you could possibly eat, but these are cut thinner and have minced parsley on them, which, again, I think are better than the original. If you have a Player's card, there are all sorts of specials. I am not a big gambler at all, but I got $5 off my meal. We always have fun at Baldini's and recommend you try the burger. Because it is in a Casino, kids under 21 are not allowed in. It is a very casual environment with lots of locals.

We were in the area looking at cars and realized we did not eat before we left home so we popped in here. We did not have much time so this was a better spot that the restaurant. It was a Saturday and they were super busy and rushing to get the food out. We waited about 15 minutes as the cooks were pretty fast. We ordered the special burger and fry basket. The fries were really good and crispy. The problem was the burger and bun as both were on the grill too long. The meat was way over-cooked and the bun was burnt. It is kind of hard to mask the taste of blackened bread with the condiments. We were hungry so we ate it anyway. We used to go here once in awhile for a quick bite and it was usually better than today. I think it was not the same because it was a weekend and they get busy with only two cooks. I like the serve yourself drinks and condiments. The only thing you wait for is the grill food. The casino is slots only so we don't go often. We used to love the buffet they had years ago which always had good food. We rather eat here at the grill instead of the restaurant since the price went so high and does not match the food they serve. We will try the grill again during the week.

I used the website and placed the order with ease, we paid and it stated the order would be ready at 2:50 pm. At 2:49 I got a text stating the order was ready. Order Cuban on oregano parm bread Trip tip with blue cheese add mayo, slaw on the side on jalapeno cheese bread. The order was picked up with ease, arrived at the house at 3:45. The sandwiches were much larger than expected, and were still nice and warm. Opened the bag to find each sandwich was wrapped and clearly labeled. The herb flavors were present in the Cuban, the pickles were mighty tasty offsetting the fat, and the vinegar in mustard tied it all together and the warm fresh crusty bread... OHHHHH MYYYYY!!! Greatttttt sandwhich! Jalapeno cheese bread with trip tip was MF FIRE !! I'd never imagine blue cheese and trip tip with jalapeno and spinach. Wowwwww it worked.. let's talk quality... quality aromatic blue cheese with a nice punch to it.. it almost melted into the bread!! The perfectly large chunks of wilted spinach from the heat of the meat, and the breaddddddddddddddd.. salty, slightly spicy from the jalapeno ... WOW NEW FAVORITE!! This sandwhich has me wanting to make some bread and find just the right blue cheese!!! SORRY BUT I DONT LIVE HERE AND HAVE TO HAVE IT!!! Will I return? To be fair I only tried one item, the Thai chicken wrap and it wasn't bad but it was a huge mostly cabbage presentation. Really there was very little chicken in it. I couldn't detect any peanut flavor in the Thai chicken sauce. Perhaps I should have tried a different item? The service was great, atmosphere was non existent, it's a bleak boring dining area. The only cool thing was the stickers on the front window. If I get back to Reno this place would be low on my return list.

The sandwich was wrapped and I went upstairs to feast. When I opened the sandwich, it looked like I had ordered a side salad literally on the side of the sandwich! I love veggies, but I had to give the sandwich a "haircut" to trim the excess so I could get to the bread and pick it up. It looked fine while being made, and I think the trouble was when they tried to close the two halves - all those toppings had to go somewhere! I enjoyed my side-trimmed salad first, then tried the sandwich, which was tasty, and yes, I could taste the cheese even with those toppings! The sandwich lasted for three meals, so it was a great value. The three scoops of avocado were also a nice treat that I usually don't find (unless added for extra money!). The service was quick and friendly as well - a great dinner choice.

Of course, a few of us were initially indecisive, but staff was very patient and kind. The teamwork in the sandwich line was well executed with one girl taking the first stage of ingredients: spreads, cukes, olives, pickles and peppers Another girl took the lettuce, spinach, onion and tomato area making it the final stage. All of our sandwiches were overflowing with fresh ingredients and were very satiating if not gut busting! Love the friendliness and attitudes here from this past weekend. No doubt we will be back for more delicious sandwiches again next time!

It was a bit chaotic and confusing what made them different from any new bakery. Initially a lower value priced quality focused offering to rival perenn i believe they finally hit the spot. Their breads actually now have their character, right texture, flavor and freshness. The customer service has also improved. Staff is much friendlier than early days. I had the grinder sandwich and ate every single bite because it was so delicious. The crack and crumble of the bread was like a banh mi sandwich but filled with Italian ingredients. The only downside is their space is a bit tight for the amount of business they bring in and timing is essential to enjoy your experience here if you can grab a seat at the right time. We definitely added them back to our regular list of places to visit for our bakery needs on the mornings and weekend brunch.
