I paid at the end, the receptionist called the team to confirm nothing else was needed on my end, then I left. The next day, I was notified that they forgot to charge me an additional fee from USDA, and was told that had I responded to Rosey's messages prior to our appointment "I would have known that". I triple checked our text chain, phone log, emails, and even PetDesk - none of which have anything from Rosey before our appointment on 3/3. Naturally, I questioned the additional charge (there was already a USDA fee that I paid for on the original invoice) and mentioned that I had no correspondence from Rosey leading up to the appointment. I received such a condescending and accusatory email back from her and was essentially told she would not help me in the future. I'm still waiting to connect with management and share screenshots showing that Rosey never reached out to me before our appointment. I completely understand that mistakes happen and I would have been fine to pay the additional fee. However, I don't stand for gaslighting and false accusations.

Unfortunately, our experience left a very poor & unprofessional first impression. AFTER ALL WE ARE PAYING FOR A SERVICE!! Upon arrival, we encountered a sign at the front desk that was extremely condescending and immediately gave the impression of a business more interested in enforcing rules than treating patients with respect. There is a 10-minute grace period that is not clearly communicated beforehand, and if you are even slightly late, the clinic threatens to cancel your appointment and charge a late fee. We were only about five minutes late due to a long line and parking delays, yet we were told our appointment was canceled and a late fee would be applied. The staff at the front desk were dismissive and RUDE AF!!!! , particularly one woman who seemed to enjoy asserting power over patients. She even hung up abruptly on a caller saying, "I'll call you back, I'm busy." When we requested to speak to the manager, the response was only slightly better, still condescending, and we were reprimanded for explaining the situation. It felt very much like being treated as children rather than valued clients. For a clinic that presumably cares for animals, this lack of empathy, patience, and basic courtesy was courtesy was shocking. If you're treating your HIGH PAYING CLIENTS THIS BAD!? HOW ARE YOU TREATING OUR BELOVED ANIMALS? YIKES. The behavior at the front desk, combined with the aggressive sign, makes it very difficult to feel comfortable or welcome. We hope the owners and doctor are made aware of this, as staff attitude can seriously affect a clinic's reputation and patient loyalty. We are reconsidering whether to continue using this clinic and strongly encourage owners particularly more than poor management to retrain front desk staff on professionalism and compassion. Patients who spend significant amounts on pet care deserve to be treated with respect and understanding (especially during their first visit) Once this behavior is put on social platforms such as Yelp, Google. Even tik tok you will suffer greatly by allowing your front desk to abuse your clientele? What an absolute embarrassment. Take your disgusting signs down before you go viral.

All of the staff and vets treat my dogs as if they are the most favorite dogs they deal with, the most special dogs they deal with, the most beautiful dogs they deal with--and I know it is not true but it is nice to feel that way. lol. Nevertheless, we are on our third round of rescue dogs at the point, and we still go to Foothill over other places we have tried in the area. The new remodel has also helped the flow of the office A LOT. (p.s. the person who I commented on in my past review is gone, maybe because of their horrible bedside manner and weird upselling).

My cat Luna was very sick, and while the outcome was heartbreaking, Dr. Tom took the time to explain everything clearly, answer every question, and never rushed us. I am grateful for the patience, professionalism, and humanity shown to us during such a painful time. Thank you for helping Luna feel safe and loved, and for helping us make an incredibly difficult decision with compassion.

Dr. Vikas Jaglan saw her immediately, diagnosed a corneal tear, and began treatment right away; he genuinely saved her vision. On March 30th, Peanut was diagnosed with pancreatitis and admitted overnight for IV fluids, pancreatic medication, and IV abx. Dr. Jaglan was thorough, communicative, and kind. As a registered nurse, I asked informed questions about whether imaging was necessary and whether procedures like gallbladder removal, tumor resection, or ERCP-equivalent interventions are performed in veterinary medicine, since my background is in human care. I was not challenging the plan; I was trying to understand viable treatment pathways before committing to imaging costs. Vet Tech Jenn verbally claimed that "duct stones are not a thing"; and I had explained to her that the liver, gallbladder and pancreas are all connected by tiny ducts, which can be blocked by stones. Jenn kept saying that it would only be a tumor and had no idea what I was taking about. Vet tech Jenn was dismissive, offering no real answers and stating "the doctor is going to be short with you too." When I asked about financial assistance, I was flatly told "we don't do discounts" with no further effort to help. Her attitude directly contributed to my hesitation in proceeding with imaging Dr. Jaglan had recommended. After discharge, Peanut was flinching and squealing when we touched her jaw, something not present before her stay (leaving us with serious concerns about her overnight handling with Jenn.) After discharge Peanut improved briefly at home, but on April 4th she deteriorated rapidly (jaundiced, lethargic, and passing tarry stools, which I recognized as internal bleeding). We returned to the UC immediately. Vet tech Carlos was exceptional, very compassionate, thorough, and patient. He walked us through every detail of her care and proactively worked with us to find financial assistance, which meant the world during an unbearable time. Peanut was admitted in critical condition with severely elevated WBC, liver enzymes, pancreatic enzymes, and bilirubin. Dr. Arvind Bagga reviewed her labs with us, and even displayed imaged of internal organs of a dog on the screen to explain what was happening with Peanut, making it easy to follow and understand for my husband who is not in the medical field. He was exceptionally informative, kind and compassionate. On April 5th, Dr. Vikas Jaglan delivered the imaging results with us and we were told Peanut's only options were emergency surgery (with a very poor prognosis given sepsis and critically elevated clotting factors) or euthanasia. My husband and I made the most devastating decision of our lives that day. I carry immense grief wondering whether timelier imaging could have changed the outcome. While the final decision was my husbands and mine, I believe Jenn's dismissive and unhelpful communication (both medically and financially) played a significant role in that delay. Two weeks later, we returned for Peanut's ashes, presented in a beautiful bag with her paw print (a gesture that brought us to tears.) Dr. Jaglan, Dr. Bagga, and Carlos represent everything veterinary care should be. I am forever grateful for their care, and forever heartbroken by this loss. This experience was deeply traumatic, and I would not wish this pain on anyone.

Every search indicates they are open daily until 11PM including their own signage on the day they are closed. They even have bookable appointments on their own website during the hours that are closed - whatever some boxes were missed - their posted hours say open at 8AM on Fridays - cool I'll go in the morning- nooope you call at 8am and they say doctor doesn't come in until 11:30 - which defeats the purpose of early morning hours, whatever they're open late - I call at the end of my shift - should be fine they're open for another 3.5 hours - no they're not taking new patients - EVEN THOUGH their website says they're taking clients in 6 additional spots. I've been here when highland park animal hospital was too busy and sent me this way - we had a good experience. That is not the case. There is a lack of customer service effort on behalf of the front staff provide: Chelsea, too many systems that provide information with little to none being consistent information, and overall I don't care how quality your product is if I can't access it at the end of the day. I'm trying to do a Regular dog check up - how would this look if I actually had a higher need beyond allergies?? It definitely seems like an administrative and systems issue, and if you can't provide the foundation of your service it defeats the purpose of your providing the service. Remove the urgent and hospital - call it care animal clinic.

I took a chance on this place for my puppy's care and I absolutely love this place! So modern, just like the name! So far I've seen different veterinarians for each visit, but everyone is amazing! You can tell they actually care about animals. So far I had nothing but wonderful interactions with all staff members. I never had to wait too long either. During my first visit Lin took care of me and my puppy. I was pretty nervous and new to everything. I appreciate her walking me through it all. Dr. Kang is knowledgeable and so nice to my puppy. Dr. Youn is attentive and also own the same breed as my puppy! I highly recommend that you download the app. You can access your upcoming appointments, chats with the team members, vaccination records and after care summary. I didn't even have to take my own notes. Their notes are detailed! Parking in the back available. There's only 7 spots. There is another parking lot nearby but you'll have to pay for that. They offer 3 types of memberships. After talking to my pet insurance, I've decided to go for All Access $199/year for my puppy. This option is great due to unlimited visits with no exam fee, preferred access to sick urgent care when fully booked, and 24/7 virtual care including chat, phone & video. They also offer nail trim for $30. More expensive than other places, but they do offer it. Overall, love this place! Highly recommend!
