Came upon a friend's recommendation, SO many donut flavors. Came on a weekday around 11:30AM, friendly workers. Was recommended the blueberry cake, creme brulee, and nutella pillow. Got the first two (was looking at the peanut butter pillow but too many donuts!). Blueberry cake didn't taste very much like blueberry. Creme brulee had a nice burnt sugar coating on top, the inside cream was pretty tasty too. I liked it but it was also pricey, a bit more than $3. Blueberry cake was almost $2, total was $5.60 which is quite pricey for two donuts. Fresh though and not too sweet! read more

WOW! Never thought I would have to leave such high remarks on donuts. We got a half dozen as we were just stopping through. Every single item we got was really tasty. There is a distinct flavor to these donuts, and then when they have options of chocolate, filled, "snickerdoodle," marshmallow, and lots of other flavors, they taste amazing. So excited to find a place that serves gluten-free donuts. SloDoCo is a very popular place but the wait to order wasn't long and they had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. The top shelf of the display was filled with about 5 different types of gluten-free donuts. I ordered a chocolate and vanilla, even though ordering one was probably enough. So I am not really sure I would call these donuts. They were very dense more like cake with frosting, but with a hole in the middle, which is typically the consistency of a gluten-free donut. horrible in many ways. 1. they don't hire enough staff. you wait in line forever while the worker makes drinks. Someone should just be there for donuts. 2. they took over sunshine donuts, a staple of the community for like 20 plus years, then remove all their recipes with their crap donuts. Absolute shame. 3. they don't allow black people into their store. read more

I've swung by SloDoCo for years and have always loved their donuts. They have great variety in their menu and their treats are always so tasty. My personal favorite has always been their galaxy donut, which tastes like it has marshmallow icing. The galaxy pattern and colors change day to day and I've never had two of them look the same. Always fun to see what they'll look like each time I come around. Their donuts are always fresh and unique. I definitely recommend checking SloDoCo out. read more

The hubby and I did a central CA roadtrip and stayed in SLO for a couple of nights. SLODOCO had such great reviews that I had to check it out. The display case is impressive and they have a lot of donuts. Like a lot a lot. We ordered an assortment and our favorite were the mini peach fritter bites. I liked the crueler, it tasted fresh and wasn't overly sweet. The others were just okay and nothing impressive. I was glad to see they abided by the covid rules and spoke up when there were too many people in the restaurant. I'm most disappointed in the service. It was early on a Saturday, but first impressions are crucial, so this means to greet the customers, or make recommendations if they ask for one or give more than a grunt as a response. read more

Delicious donuts. Anyone with a late night sweet teeth should save this because they are open all night and day 24/7. I love to study here and the workers are always friendly. The donuts come in so many different options and it becomes a challenge to choose sometimes. The coffee is also great and everything is at a good price. It's peaceful inside and has vivid lighting that has the perfect atmosphere to study and focus for the next 5 hours while enjoying a donut. read more

Donuts aren't my favorite form of dessert, but occasionally, I'll indulge and SloDoCo makes the best donuts in SLO. They have an entire wall and counter case of colorful, uniquely flavored donuts and always seem to have good options even when it's later in the evening. I'll admit that some of the options are a bit sweet, but I've learned how to choose donuts I'll enjoy.The shop is super spacious inside with lots of tables which is great for studying! The employees are super nice and sometimes they hand out donut holes for free during later hours. Matcha Donut (5/5): They nailed the bright, bitter tones of matcha in the glaze for this donut so well! I love that this option wasn't sickeningly sweet and was well-balanced. The donut itself was perfectly light and you could tell it was fried in good quality oils. Bikini Bottom Friend Donuts (5/5): We knew we had to come to try these out when we saw them on a Yelp photo. Usually with such bold colors comes an over sweet donut, but we did not find that to be the case as both were delicious. Glazed Donut (5/5): Best glazed donut I've had in a while! Another bonus stop for us in San Louis Obispo. We actually went to get subs at Capriotti's and saw this donut shop next-door. We went in to try it and, when my son said we'll take six, I just looked at him and said we'll take 12. (Apparently he has forgotten how many donuts his father likes to eat). In any case by the time I took a picture there wasn't much left, but we certainly enjoyed the variety of donuts we had. Far better than anything we get in Palo Alto. read more

Came here on a Sunday morning to pickup donuts for a group of friends. There was no wait and a large selection available. They have really pretty and tasty donuts and you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Would definitely recommend visiting when you want a donut! I've also been here in the past and they had board games available so you could hang out here as well! Parking is easy and available in a parking lot in front of the store. read more

Now, let me start by stating the obvious... Since I tried this place a few years ago, anytime I either pass through SLO or I am in SLO, coming to SLODoCo is a MUST! PRO TIP: come in the morning! You have a better chance of getting the popular donuts ( galaxy, creme brûlée etc) The one thing I love about this place besides the amazing and unique flavor donuts, the coffee shop ambiance where students come to study is the staff! Their lines are always long but they make sure to keep it moving so that you are able to get in and out! One new thing they have is a donut design station where they have different sprinkles and toppings that you can use to add more to your donut! Now what donut shop has that?! I finally got my fix for the Lavender donut and made my way back to SB! SLODoCo, you never disappoint! read more

I'm not a huge donut fan, as I prefer later meals and savory treats, but I popped into SloDoCo with my guy one morning while we were visiting the area and was blown away by the massive selection available! Fresh, colorful, creative donuts aplenty even at later hours - they're actually open 5AM to midnight, daily. Whatever your favorite style of donut, they have it- old fashioned, cake style, buttermilk, devil's food cake, raise donuts, filled donuts, bars & twists, pillows & bear claws, cinnamon rolls & fritters, and even croissants. We tried the peanut butter and PBJ pillows, at staff recommendation, along with a lavendar, matcha, and a couple of my BF's choosing. I was hoping to try a Circus Animal Cookie donut but they did not have those available when we were in. Everything we tried was pretty fresh, with the pillows being the surprise favorites. The lavender donut must be for those who really love the flavor, as the floral notes were pretty overpowering - almost like eating soap. The line easily snakes out the door on a weekend morning but it does move quickly. They also have coffee, milk, juice, etc. NOTE: Don't worry vegans, they didn't forget about you! There's a whole dedicated case for their vegan donuts here too. read more

A great donut spot and cafe open 24/7 with lots of yummy options -- during the semester, it's a lovely spot to study. They're still open with social distancing rules in place so we stopped by for some donuts. I particularly loved the galaxy and classic maple ones! The galaxy one was super pretty and maple tasted great -- PLUS they had some great seasonal flavors like blueberry. Overall, a great spot to stop for a sweet treat in SLO! read more

Considering that this place is opened 24 hrs attracting college students pulling all nighters, I was surprised to see that their wifi rarely works. I've came here a good amount and the wifi connects maybe 10% of the time. It is such a shame considering that their donuts are amazing and their service is great but hope they fix it soon! read more

If you're vegan, I would say you probably don't want to waist your time... They have an impressive selection of donuts- if you're not vegan. They only have a few cake selections that weren't bad, but tbh they tasted more like actual cake than donuts. When I was there, there were no raised options and the person behind the counter wasn't very knowledgeable, so they had no idea if that was ever an option. I was there later in the day, so possibly there is more of a selection at times. It was pretty disappointing, but I always appreciate when people put forth the effort. read more

On the outside, it looked as if it would be a small donut shop, but step through the doorway and it transformed into a donut wonderland!! There were sooo many kinds and flavors of donuts! Impossible to walk out with just one! Besides a true donut fan would never do that! I narrowed it down to 4! Had to get the MATCHA donut- dipped in thick matcha glaze, can taste the green tea! Got the last one! CINNABOMB - dome glazed donut, swirled cinnamon design on top, with layer of cinnamon crumble inside, yum! PEANUT BUTTER PILLOW - generous rectangle shaped donut, inside a thin layer of peanut butter filling, which was a perfect amount to compliment and not overwhelm, topped with peanut butter drizzle and chocolate chips. This was a favorite of the gal behind the counter. It proved to be one of mine too. And last but not least, the GALAXY. Had to. It was obvious this was the eye catching donut they are famous for! Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

Talked with a smile and didn't mind having small talk with my wife. Plenty of seating when we came to enjoy our coffee and baked goods. I liked the scout cookie.. had chocolate and nuts. Chocolate banana loaf was okay but can't say I would get this over the cookie. Overall, we like to patronize local coffee shops so this was a plus.

The chai, however, fell far short of expectation. While I appreciate the effort of a house blend, it sadly lacked any spice or uniqueness. It was liquid, it was brown, and it had some sweet to it. But didn't get any hint there was spice. That may be what they were going for, but it definitely won't make my list of chais to come back for. On the plus side, the egg tartine was tasty and well prepared! And we had a wonderful conversation with a local at the outdoor seating area. Overall, pleasant eating experience, but not my cuppa chai.

In fact, they have a video of a cafe scene of the animal crossing game playing to really set the cutesy aesthetic. The milk tea is good. They don't have as many choices when customizing sweetness, but their tea isn't too sweet at all. I enjoyed a strawberry matcha and my wife enjoyed a passionfruit green tea. Both were good. The boba was nice was good and fresh. Service was fairly quick. The girl was very sweet and offered to remake our drink if we didn't like it. We enjoyed the drink very much. Definitely a place to come and chill, study and even get a little work done.

I wish I could have spent the morning just being there but had to leave for a funeral. So many things caught our eye! The baked goods were devine. The T-shirts were super soft and I would have bought one of they had our sizes. The roasted coffee beans were priced fairly. I haven't even gotten to the coffee yet! There were so many iced coffee/cold brew options it was really hard to choose. We ended up selecting the Lemon Pistachio shortbread cookie, a Ginger Molasses cookie, a seasonal scone: Honey Cinnamon, an iced Latte and an iced Vanilla Bean Latte: 1/2 sweet and a bag of Classic Espresso beans. My only sadness was I should have gotten a large latte instead of a regular. We saved the desserts for after the funeral and enjoyed the yummy coffees on our way. The Ginger Molasses cookie was perfect. Moist and chewy and not too much ginger. I should have bought more! The Lemon Pistachio cookie had a lovely balance of lemon zest and fine pieces of pistachio in the cookie and a not too tart lemon glaze and pieces of pistachio on top. It wasn't dry or super dense either. Someone making these is an experienced baker! The Honey Cinnamon scone was the best scone we have ever had. It was messy but so worth it.
