The venue is on the second floor, which can be a challenge or an absolute deal breaker for some. They do have a chair lift though, which several of our attendees used to get upstairs. Parking could be a challenge, as the venue is located in historic downtown Redlands. According to my cousin, parking at the CVS was allowed, but I'd double check with the venue. Service was fairly quick and friendly. The drinks were all sweet cocktails and in the "Matterhorn Lodge" theme. There is a 2 drink minimum purchase (per guest) and each drink is $20+ so it can add up. I'm more of a beer person but some of the drinks were delicious. There was one that tasted like Christmas morning (cinnamon, clove, milky) and another drink that had popping boba that was also fun. If you're a butterfinger or peanut butter fan, there was one drink that tasted like it (you'll see it on the drink menu). I wouldn't say the drinks were strong. They were super accommodating with our large party even though we arrived late due to our dinner running over. Service was friendly and attentive. I tried two of their themed cocktails: the TSA, which was Aperol-based and refreshing, and the Stewardess, a lychee rum cocktail that was way stronger than I expected and not as sweet as I was hoping for. Overall it was a fun experience but I wish the music was louder and the lights were dimmer to make it a more party vibe. They also close at 12, which is kinda early for a bar and caught us by surprise.
