10/22/23 it's a very cute cafe located in a residential area. The decor is old school retro vibes. There's lots of seating indoors and outdoors. On a Sunday morning around 9am there were quite a few people already there. After we ordered there was a line of customers. The prices are average. About $6 for my flavored latte. My drink was smooth. My other friends also enjoyed their drinks. The rose cardamom had a very light floral taste but delicious. There was a display case of some pastries. The workers were friendly enough. The guy at the register taking orders could have been a little more smiley. The place was clean and spacious. I also noticed a cold water dispenser available. People seemed to be enjoying their coffee and chatting with friends or working on their laptops. Overall I would come back here if I ever visit again. read more

My husband and I love to try new coffee spots. Recently I cut out drinking large amounts of caffeine so finding a shop with good alternative options and good decaf has been like a little adventure. If there's matcha on the menu 9 times out of 10 I opt for that. So I got the strawberry matcha, I can't remember the name. I've had a similar one at Alpaca Coffee in Idylwilld so I knew I liked the flavor. It was good, not to sweet and the matcha was very mild. My husband got a cappuccino and said it was one of the best he's had!! It was mild and not bitter. Very very smooth. It took probably less than 5 minutes for our drinks to be ready. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is cause the vibe/feeling was so uncomfortable to me. I felt super out of place and the workers weren't rude or anything but seemed more like they were hanging out and it felt more like we interrupted their time. But overall the drinks were really good, just not sure if I want to go back and feel awkward again lol. read more

I love this place, I think the drink I get is seasonal but I also love their matcha too! I have gotten a blueberry muffin that was good too! The service is quick, i've gone in the morning before work and there was a line but still speedy service. Some caffeine was needed for the drive back up to the Bay area so we stopped by Slow Bloom while we visited a friend. Parking lot is a little on the smaller side, especially since this place is bustling! We arrived and there was a line of 6-7 parties in front of us. However the line moved by relatively quickly and we ordered a cold brew, the pistachio cold foam latte, and the strawberry matcha latte. I also bought a bag of the Arm in arm to gift to a friend. The cold brew was pretty good and if we came back to the area we would definitely get again. The pistachio cold foam latte was on their seasonal drink menu and it was delicious! The nuttiness from the pistachio went really well with the latte and the pistachio cold foam was so yummy. The strawberry matcha was also super good and not too strong on either the strawberry or matcha: a really good balance. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors and a lot of the tables are taken up by people studying/working. Nice place to catch up with friends or get some work done! read more

I know some folks who moved a year ago to the San Bernardino area and the first thing I did when I visited was to look up local coffee shops. I was super happy to see that Slow Bloom was 15-20min away and after viewing their IG/website and I was blown about how they started. Their values definitely align with mine and this has been my go to coffee shop every single time I visit the area. My favorite drinks to order will always be a cortado or iced americano. However, sometimes I do indulge in the special rotating menu that has sweet or interesting flavor combinations. read more

One of the best coffee spots in Inland Empire. They have a nice family/community where everyone knows everyone. I like that you can eithier catch up with a friend inside or outside on the patio. The drink menu has a variety ranging from homemade syrups, slushies during the summer, and even having their own roasted beans for their products. Would suggest trying their seasonal menu since it's not a permanent item. read more

My first yelp review ever! And it's not because I'm mad. I was running early for an appointment nearby and remembered a friend recommended this place. Checked out the menu ahead of time because I'm one of those people. I was still a bit intimidated because I'm usually just a mocha frap person (I never know what to order) and this looked like a "real" coffee place but the cashier was great. It was pretty packed but he was patient when I responded with confused silence when he asked what kind of milk I would like. I went with oat. The service was quick and great. I didnt really like it here. My latte had a sour taste and they put so much sweetener that i couldnt really taste the espresso. The cashier wasnt friendly either. My croissant looked good but when i tasted it, it tasted pretty bad. I stopped by another coffee shop to get another latte bc i couldnt drink this past 5 sips. And i threw away the croissant after 3 bites. And its right by the freeway so its really loud sitting outside. I expected more based on the yelp reviews...yelp let me down on this one. First, don't be scared by how small it looks from the outside (because it does look tiny), there's actually a LOT of seating available inside and outside. It has a very hipster vibe tbh, and there's a lot of young people on laptops hanging out, but it's a good vibe either way. We came here because their menu stated they were vegan friendly. Even though we showed up late in the day, they still had a few vegan pastries left and got to try the vegan chocolate loaf with olive oil, which was delicious and decadent. I tried the vegan spiced chai (iced) and I was surprised by how delicious and spicy it was. It didn't taste like it came from a concentrate. The prices were a bit high but what can you do? Life!! My family told me about this place. I was visiting other people from my extended family and decided to drop by. I'm glad I did. I am not a local, but the area around it feels like an older part of town while still looking good. Once I figured out where it is located (less than a block from where Google Maps took me), it was like a pretty oasis stepping out from the landscape. Orange is a main decoration theme here. It works for this place. They have outdoor seating areas with nice greenery and shade with lots of orange chairs. I rolled in early on a Saturday morning and enjoyed an apple cinnamon loaf. I was told it was vegan, but honestly, I just know it tasted great. I also ordered a currant herbal tea on ice. I enjoyed it as it came, but I still added some stevia to give it a little extra sweetness. I would order this again. Though I might try it hot sometime when the weather is cooler. The person waiting on me took the time to explain the menu items I brought up and was exceptionally knowledgeable of their products. As I sat inside enjoying my loaf and drink, I witnessed the staff engaging with their customers, and it seems that the staff authentically like their job and customers. I thought the reusable water glasses were a nice touch and went along with the overall vibe of this place. I'm from Portland so seeing baristas with scales, taking their time and being exacting in their craft is "normal"- seeing it in Redlands was exciting! I ordered a pour over, it didn't come out exactly right and the barista apologized profusely for the wait and that he could not serve it to me, must be made by hand- i had no arguments and was in no hurry, happy to see someone "in the zone" of their craft. Was it was handed over, it was absolutely superb and my only regret was that i was leaving when the bakery delivery was walking up to the door- oh my god- i almost did a u turn to get bank into the line but there were dogs to run and perfect coffee to enjoy. This place was the best pick after a long work week. I had never been here before but it had been recommended to me by a close friend and I thought today was as good a day as any to try it out. I love the feel here. It kind of feels like a little diner but in the form of a coffeeshop. One of the workers helped me pick a drink out and man, it was so good that it was all gone by the time I even got to the car. This is a nice, small coffee shop in Redlands with the usual fare (lattes, etc) as well as specials which rotate seasonally, which we opted to order from. On a Saturday lunch time, it was a bit busy with a small line out the door, but the drinks were quickly prepared, made to order. My friend and I tried the jasmine milk tea slush and strawberry daydream. Jasmine milk tea slush was very floral which I am a big fan, and it was slushy which is perfect for the hot weather, but it was way too sweet to enjoy. The strawberry daydream was excellent - iced strawberry milk with matcha float which kind of reminds me of strawberry matcha latte in boba shops. Strawberry daydream was stronger in caffeine content than the jasmine milk tea slush. Prices are on the slightly higher end ($6.50-7.50 for a drink from the seasonal menu) but the slight plus is that alternative milk choices like oat milk, etc are no extra charge so we went with their default recommendations (they recommended oat milk). read more

My family has been dying to try slow bloom so we took a special trip out to Redlands just before the holidays. We were all excited to try our drinks. I even decided to get 2 for myself (maple praline latte and cafe de olla). The line was long and the place was packed. What could go wrong? We waited a while before we could finally get a table and I wish I could say it was worth the wait but it certainly wasn't. I don't get the hype. Is it crowded because it's the new hipster hangout or what? The drinks were a huge disappointment. The cafe de olla was just sad. You can tell the coffee is watery, lacks body and flavor which they try to hide behind spices. The spices weren't bad but with a sad watery coffee the drink was lackluster at best. The maple praline - blasé and simply put BLAND. It just wasn't special. And for the price? Oof you would hope the drinks would be better than mid but that wasn't the case. I didn't finish mine. No one in my family liked their drinks. What are the odds? Skip it. read more

Stopped on the way out from LA to Palm Springs and was so glad we did. There's a vibe from the minute you roll up. Outdoor patio, a breezy interior, people getting work done - so nice. The coffee here is SO good. I ordered an oat milk latte, but saw at the last second there was a black sesame flavor in one of the other drinks. I asked if I could add the flavoring to my latte and it was no problem. Absolutely delicious. I'm sure that even without the black sesame flavoring that the coffee would still taste incredible. Drinks took a little bit to come out, but a large portion of their menu is speciality drinks, so depending on what you order, be patient - it's worth it!! They've got pastries avail for purchase as well. Will definitely add to my list of places to stop on road trips out to the desert. read more

The DRINKS AND PASTRIES, 10/10!! Service.... Needs work :( Seems like good service is hard to come by these days, so that's what I look for the most when I try new spots. Cashier and Barista did not look too thrilled about newbie customers. Sorry I didn't know where the straws were, but having attitude for a small question is crazy. Both didn't even care to have eye contact. I wish they would find joy in their work because that drink and snack made my day for how yummy and creative it was.
