Love this cafe. A true gem that I found while walking around Providore. (Amazing market, by the way). The hot latte with vanilla, orange, and cinnamon was not too sweet and overpowering & was very smooth. Pour was beautiful the service was friendly. Space looks very good on a sunny day and you can tell the people working there are pros at what they do. Great place for a solid cup of coffee.

Very cozy coffee spot with amazing baristas! Their house-made syrups have very unique flavors but I think they get lost in the drinks a bit. Still a very nice spot to come hang with some coffees though.

Slow haste is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Great coffee in a great space. I've stopped in on days where the playlist was so chill & the ambiance so cozy I really had to pry myself out of my seat to leave! I love the thoughtfully curated walls. So many details to take in, feels like every time I stop by I discover something new :)

Chill vibes with a cozy eclectic feel. It's bright and airy with lots of open windows that bring in the morning sun. An amazing commitment to good coffee supporting local roaster (currently Sunday). The specials list is completely unique. It goes beyond just flavored milk drinks in a tier above any other coffee shop around. See the "sweet dream" - truly a coffee cocktail with great balance, subtlety, and 10/10 presentation.

A very cute and cozy coffee shop on Glisan. The interior has a similarly eclectic feel as Bastion on Mississippi, but turned up a bit. I came here based on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint! Their coffee by itself is really good, but they also have rotating seasonal house made syrups that make this shop unique. For instance, one of the seasonal syrups I had was Red Miso Caramel which led to an incredibly unique and delicious latte. It seems like they change the syrups somewhat frequently but always post the new flavors on their Instagram. They also have a link to an up-to-date menu on their Instagram, which I appreciate.

Cute little cafe! A little small but cozy. Seating available if you wanna pop in and do some work. We ordered a drip coffee and the barista described the beans used. It was a nice touch.

Dare I say one of the best places to get coffee in Portland. Love how the space is a coffee shop during the day and a bar at night. They craft their drinks with care and service is always great. Highly recommend their orange, cinnamon, vanilla latte!

Cozy little shop with a simple menu with a couple crafted drinks. Randomly came upon this shop on yelp. I'm usually hesitant to try newer places but I'm completely glad I didn't pass this one up. Looked at the menu and at first glance it seemed like your standard coffee shop. Then I saw the interesting flavors they have concocted. I went with the Rice pudding myself which is toasted rice syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, condensed milk. OMG, it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Ended up going back the next day to try a sweet corn and brown butter latte as well. That one was really tasty too. It was nice how fast the service was too. Another plus was the cute little logo they have. I just had to get myself a shirt since it was on there. Highly highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Even if you're not, it's worth going out of your way for

Stumbled on this little coffee shop while in the area. Was going to get a mocha but decided on a special "funfetti" coffee instead. It was really good. Sweet but still tasted like coffee. The service was great and the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Plus there's a pie place practically next door to pair with your coffee!

What a beautiful space! I love the artwork and the coziness. My latte was delicious and the pastries are fresh. Will definitely stop by here again!

Back in September, my boyfriend and I went to Portland for our anniversary. I had seen Slow Haste all over TikTok and am so happy we ended up going! It was so cute and the drinks were very good. The staff was very nice and helped me decide what I wanted to get since there were so many options. We went when the fall menu had just dropped so I got the Blackberry Maple Iced Chai- so good 10/10! When we went back on our last day, I got the Fluffernutter Chai which was also 10/10! I am a chai girlie and these are absolutely in the top 10 Chais I've had in 28 years of living.

Latte with oat milk, and some orange, cinnamon & vanilla syrup. Almond croissant.

Nice coffee, nice service and nice ambiance, What else more can you ask for? We enjoyed this place very much.

You really can't go wrong, but my favorite is the orange, cinnamon, vanilla latte which is so perfectly balanced.

Great service from friendly barista. I ordered the Chocolate Jesus and my kid had the Arabic People's Latte. Both drinks were unique and superbly delicious with cardamom accents. I would have ordered another round but I didn't want to be a jittery maniac for the rest of the day. I'm not a Portland resident, but I do live in the PNW. I've been here quite a few times and have really enjoyed the Aribic People's latte with its strong cardamon overtones, the Chocolate Jesus and today, the Mucho Calliente, which promises a chili infusion, and cinnamon infused espresso with dark chocolate! But wait..., oh no, I forgot to ask for oat... this is probably (certainly) dairy. Argh! Sorry, I have no Viking blood and can not digest cow milk. I would rather battle the aforementioned Viking before I'd endure the results of ... dairy! So, I brought my drink up fully prepared to pay for another and everyone there, EVERYONE, in almost unison, refused to take my payment. They kindly and quickly made another and... oh... spicy indeed, but chocolatey and balanced! One of the best spicy mochas I've had anywhere ... and I am an absolute Spella snob and proud of it! Inside secret: Don't miss out on the great selection of truly authentic Egyptian foods and pastries, as well as some really nice necklaces and earrings. If you need that piece to pull your whole Nefertiti look together before going out for a Saturday of dancing and fun... this is your hidden gem!

The Experience: I visited Golden Hour with a friend after taking a break from thrifting clothes around the Hawthorne neighborhood. What stood out: Food: I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk. The presentation was gorgeous with layers of colors and textures. I placed my order and the barista let me know about a vegan cold foam alternative. The drink was great and the matcha paired nicely with everything in the drink including pandan, coconut flakes, and vanilla. The interior was clean and there were plenty of places to sit. Lots of people hanging out in the shop, some working, some talking, but it seemed like a good spot to get some stuff done. There was music playing that set a welcoming mood. Overall, highly recommend if you enjoy flavored lattes.

The two-tops are fairly snug together so it can feel like you're eavesdropping or being listened to. There's counter seating along one side which had some refreshing morning sun- when a couple seats opened up there, we moved and were very comfy. There are a couple of cozy chairs in the front window and some additional counter and lounge seating in an adjoining room. The drink quality and presentation were high quality and delicious. The cost of a 12oz latte ($7) with no special milk was higher than other cafes I've been to recently around Portland including places that create their own syrups for specialty drinks of the month. That said, I don't begrudge the cost of a masterfully hand-crafted, drinkable cup of art and that is exactly what I received. I think the cost stuck in my head because the welcome did not feel particularly warm at the register. They were having an animated conversation with the barista and I couldn't help but feel like we were inconveniencing them by saying good morning and trying to order. When we picked up our orders, the barista was warm and friendly. Overall, it's a delightful spot in an equally lovely neighborhood.
