Half sports bar half almost dive bar. Great place to go kill time before or after a game. Other than that I wouldn't go here. I think overly intoxicated people tend to end up here more than any other bar in the area. I like the staff and the bouncers are actually decent judges at who shouldn't be allowed in. A straight forward bar that caters to the sports crowd . . . next tot he stadium! Very smart on the use of space that they barely have. Long bar for drinks and TV's that line it with booths that face them. . . what more can one ask for from a sports bar?! The service was pretty darn prompt as the bar tender is very attentive and quick on their feet. The waitress was knowledgeable and quick but didn't seem very friendly. Other than the annoyed type of service, it was pretty good overall. Speed and availability of beverages were impressive. I understand the atmosphere and stress level they may have due to the type of clientele of course and people are allowed to be human. The food quality was ok overall but not too bad for a sports bar like atmosphere. Fun place and great times to be had at this establishment. Bartender was super friendly and very accommodating. Service was fast and the food and drink prices were very reasonable for the area! Tables were clean, tons of TV's with just about every sport imaginable playing. Had a local IPA + burger + tater tots. Typical bar menu with a decent beer lineup. Across the Street from Qwest Field. Its all about location, For Seahawks Games. Its best to show up as early as possible. Otherwise its pretty crazy to get a drink let alone blaze a path to the bathroom. For Mariners Games its a bit calmer depending on the night. As for the selection, a huge range of beers. Greasy food and dirty carpet = 2 stars This place can be over crowded, slightly stinky and super divey, BUT if you like cheap beer in large vessels - 24 OZ BEER - than you will appreciate Sluggers. Sluggers is a sports bar, yes, but so much more. Since COVID-19 we started coming here because it was one of the only places serving takeout and we've come back since March (every day) for the people. The owners are always here, they know everyone's name; the food satisfies every craving and the drinks are stiff. Sarece - has started coming back for Saturday's and is fast (your drink is filled before you know you need it), and so friendly. I cannot say enough about this place - it's the best!! read more

This was my first time to sluggers and I will NEVER go back. My whole party was disrespected by the men who worked the door. We had a group of 10 friends whO showed up before a game. We had a table and had been ordering food and drinks 2 hours before a game. One of Our group went across the road to use the port-a-potty due to the closure of sluggers' restroom. As he attempted to re-enter the bar to come back the door man told him he had to leave. After explaining the situation numerous times the door man refused to let my friend back in. Finally he was let back in and had to sneak back upstairs as the same "bouncer" wouldn't let him up the stairs. Later in the night, the game was over; and a different person in our party had left their purse upstairs as we were leaving. We walked outside and quickly realized that the Purse was still at our table. As we attempted to re-enter and simply walk upstairs and grab the purse, the same "bouncer". Wouldn't let us up to grab the bag. He insisted he was in charge and didnt care what we said. He told us tO come back when he was off because he didn't want to get arrested for hitting my friend and I. I have never been so disrespected or felt so belittled as I was this night at sluggers. I will never go back and advise no one else to go there either. read more

This is probably another favorite (next to hooverville bar) where I will come to get a pretty good buzz before going to a Seahawk game. Every time I have come here they have had really good specials on their drinks, and the atmosphere is excellent as well. There are TV's everywhere you look, and quite a bit of seating. read more

The place was very cool! great sized traditional wooden bar up front with a 42" or bigger TV every couple feet playing sports. The bartender was beautiful and very nice. Beers were $6 and the atmosphere was great. Lots of local sports fans and people on their way to the mariners game. This is one of my favorite sports bars on the entire planet. Loaded with tons of memorabilia from all things Seattle sports. The place is one city block long, and about 30 feet wide. It's like a a hallway full of sports mementos, so it's cozy, raucous, and loud on game days, but oh so much fun. I have partied with Raider fans in there before a Seahawks-Raiders Monday Night tilt, in which everyone stayed composed and understood at its core that sports is just a game and should ALWAYS be fun. They have a great selection of beer and wide variety of liquor. There is a myriad of TV's in there with everything from women's softball to NASCAR, hoops, MLB, and the NFL playing throughout the day and night. Came from out of town looking for some good affordable bar food. All weekend we had received crappy service from every restaurant, maybe it's a Seattle thing? Came in here expecting better since it's more of a divey feel. If I could give the upstairs waitress zero stars I would. Tall black haired girl with seahawk socks. She was so rude to our party didn't check in on us at all. She didn't give us a smile or was polite at all. She rushed us as soon as we ordered our food to eat and leave. Sluggers is like a Kanye West song, its a mashup of an old Seattle bar and our current present of TV Sports technology. It's long and narrow and could also make a good strip club if the bar ever failed. TV's all over the place. We were watching the M's game on one TV while watching foxy boxing on the other. The food is what you want to eat when you are drinking, greasy and satisfying. The wait staff is nice and attractive yet approachable. One server complimented my friend's TMNT shirt, just because she thought it was cool. My other friend dropped a giant piece of chicken on the floor, but that was ok because no one cared. See if you can get a good deal on tickets from the scalpers and if not, just come back here and do what feels right. read more
