The honey, fig, goat cheese pizza is AMAZING. My go to whenever we eat here. My brother-in-law had the burrata and had nothing but great things to say. We had dinner last night here and had a great time. The food was excellent and service was outstanding. Highly recommend to try this place!!

We arrived on a Friday at 6pm. The row of tables were pretty much empty, only two other tables were taken in the back, we wanted to take a table for 4. But we were told to sit at the smallest table against the wall. We thought it would get busier, so we sat at the small table. ( it did not get busy, the tables remained empty) Waited 15 mins before a waiter decided to come over and take our order...one waiter was too busy taking phone orders and the other stood around in the back. When he finally came over, he told us our waiter was busy and that he would take our order...thanks for the favor, buddy.... After placing our order, it took close to 45 mins before it arrived, and the sicilian nachos were COLD, even tho we were warned that the plate was hot...and we were told they ran out of green beans...at the dinner hour... We were pretty much ignored after being assigned to the smallest rable in the place, did not feel welcomed, did not feel like we mattered as customers. Someone will have to pay me to go back there...HELLO, Slyce...you are in the SERVICE industry....guess your take out business is 'good enough' read more

Everything at Slyce is delicious. We have ordered pizzas, pastas, salads, and appetizers and have never had a complaint. We have been here many times, sometimes with Groupons and sometimes without and are always treated the same way. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The selection of local beers is always changing, but there are always great selections. If there are two minor complaints, it would be that the bread is always cold in the middle and, when crowded, the room can get pretty noisy. Neither of those things should deter you from going. Slyce rivals a lot of the other, more well known, gourmet pizza pizza places in Westchester, but lacks the pretentiousness that comes with the others. Highly recommended!! read more

im a pizza lover, just ordered a plain slice, it was a large slice but definitely not worth the $4.00 that they charged. There slice was thin not enough cheese , way to many sauce spots to have for such a large slice. Also it had dark burn spots on the bottom of the slice. That means that 1. it was over cooked, 2. it was from a pie that was cooked earlier in the day and warmed up to long. I really wanted to ask for another slice but decided to try it and it was like i expected, taste a little burnt and to crispy for me. I didnt eat the slice... I also didn't give a 1 star because i ate there once before and there slice was good, but it is 8pm and maybe just got the last slice, should have order a full pie. I doubt ill be back read more

Went on a Groupon and were very pleased. There was very little wait for a table, the place is nicely decorated, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was great. Without the Groupon the prices were a touch high but not outrageous. The beer selection was very good and the waitress let me sample before ordering. Would definitely recommend. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! First the family friendly environment is awesome as I have a two year old, it was amazing when Jenn the waitress offered to play with him while my hubby and I ate! The food is amazing, very large slices, and the personal pizza's are more of a traditional small then personal. The salads are so great and so cheap! Everything is amazing but our family favorite is buffalo chicken. AMAZING! Yes if you go late they typically don't have by the slice, but you can request it and they will make it. NOW....Lets talk about the fried donuts...ZEPPOLI's with NUTELLA!!!! so so good Also, had a bad day and Phillip our waiter bought my glass of wine. Disgusted. The pizza was stale and mustve been old. The waiters couldn't care less about me as a customer and the prices are outrageous. Ordered the rib eye and it was undercooked. I like medium well, got medium rare. It's not hard to cook a steak, there's supplies to check!! The beers aren't that good. Went in just to have a slice of pizza. Haven't been to this place in at least 10 years. Walked in and it was very nicely redone. Sat at the the counter, was served my slice and soda and when I asked to pay I was handed the nice black folder with my check enclosed. What!! I sat at a counter and ordered a simple slice. To get a fancy print out for this seemed ridiculous and in a sense, I now felt obligated to leave a tip. It no longer has that neighborhood feel, to go in and out of for a simple slice of pizza. I'm SO disappointed that the yummy standards of my treasured Ardsley Pizza, that I've gone to for 18 years, went by the wayside. The calamari was good and light, but clearly frozen. Also, the Heroes we usually order were missing mozzarella -- yuck! Chicken parm wedge with just ricotta? Threw half of it away. What a waste. I love Tony & Phil, but really? $4.00 for a slice if plain pizza? And it was nothing special. Nothing is as good as the old Ciccone's. We went here for the first time on Saturday night. The place has a great vibe- lively and friendly. The decor is simple yet elegant- very sleek with a slightly upscale city feel. The beer and wine selections are excellent and our server was quite knowledgeable and helped us make our choices. Complimentary hot, fresh baked pretzel sticks with dipping sauces were promptly delivered to our table. I heard they were delicious- I wouldn't know since my family devoured them in a blink of an eye. For appetizers, we ordered the flame roasted wings and Piccolos (mini meatballs). The wings were rosemary and Italian herb seasoned, not like spicy wings, more like Sunday roast chicken- simply divine. The mini meatballs came with marinara and ricotta for dipping. They were very fresh and simply delicious! We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom and onion pizza (New York style). These were certainly no ordinary pies. The mushrooms were fresh (not canned) and the onions were thinly sliced and cooked to perfection. The crust was not too thick or thin, just the right amount of crispy and chewiness- not burned or soggy, but just the way New York pizza is meant to be. They also offer a variety of artisanal pizzas which we must try next time. We can't wait to go back and work our way through the extensive menu. read more

Went here for lunch and the pizza and beer was excellent. They had a good selection of IPA's and the groupon deal we did included 2 flights. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with the beer and food pairings. Their clam artisan pizza was excellent and had a very pleasant clam taste with actual whole clams on top. This was our first time at slice, my wife and I both shared a garden salad that had very little tomatoes but plenty of lettuce.we had 2 orders of nonna lasagna which was very tasty. We used a coupon from local flavor.com. We will go back try their pizza. We went back on 10/16/15 and had a 1/2 plain pie and 1/2 bbq chicken which was very good. I was looking for a new local pizza shop and I think I've found it. I got the meat lovers with a small beet salad. Both were better than anticipated. The pizza was large and flavorful. It wasn't greasy, the crust wasn't doughy, and the toppings were plentiful and evenly dispersed. The salad got my mother interested in trying goat cheese again. Score! read more

I never would have come to this place if it were not for the Groupon discount. I had never heard of it before and we are from New York City but I happened to be in the area that evening and I am glad that it was introduced to us. This definitely is not your average pizza place. First of all, the ambience was quaint and perfect for the food that was served. Secondly the beer was extremely good. And finally, the pizza. We tried three different versions of their specialty artisan pizzas and they were phenomenal. Especially the goat cheese fig and honey one was an unforgettable experience. Decided to take a drive to Westchester and try this spot, easy parking is always a plus. Settled in quickly, excited after the first glance of the menu. Great beer & wine selections; decided to go with a couple of the craft beer flights to try a little of each. As for food, the menu has a lot of speciality items as well as some Italian classics. A cutting board of some cheeses & meats (beer & cheese make a great couple), truffle fries as well as steak & gorgonzola crostini apps. Then split 2 of the artisanal pies: (1)goat cheese, fig & honey (2) fresh clam. All the food was delish... That along with a cool, fun & inviting atmosphere...my night was made. When it came time to order dessert I couldn't pass up the Nutella pizza & was glad we didn't. Will definitely be back here again, my struggle would just be wanting to try other things on the menu & knowing I don't want to pass up on what I've already had. Ordered one large pie and was told it would be 45 minutes, which is understandable for a Friday night. An hour passed and I called to see the status of my order. I was told the order was on route to my house. A half our later, still no pizza and frustrated, I decided to call and ask to pick up a fresh pizza, since the one on delivery would have been cold after a half hour. The women on the phone proceeded to tell me that there was no order for my address and it would be 45 minutes to get a large pie. Needless to say I canceled the order. With a 15-year commitment to Ardsley Pizza in the Square/ Bella's Pizza and Pasta, I've never encountered this problem. I've been here twice in its new incarnation--once to dine in, once take out. Nice ambiance, appealing menu, but the actual food is uninspired. Sicilian and traditional pizzas are prepped well ahead of time and await "re-cooking". Artisan pies allegedly have a fancier crust recipe but the taste of the crust is still very bland (not quite as bland as the traditional pies' crust, which is dry and has no flavor whatsoever). Also, when there are a total of two parties in the restaurant and it's a Tuesday night, why on earth does it take 30 min (not exaggerating by even a minute) for one small plain pizza to be ready for takeout? I so wanted to like this place. But it's the epitome of "meh" so I won't be back. read more
