Do not let the small sign and…read moredark windows fool you, this is the spot for authentic and delicious Italian cuisine--and in all places, yes, Leavenworth, KS! We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table, but it went quick. We were sat with the best server that kept our water glasses full and checked on us regularly. I checked out the menu and decided to go with the spinach lasagna and minestrone to start. If I would have known how large the soup was I would have just gone with the lasagna! The minestrone was very healthy on the tomato, but topped with tons of vegetables! It was pipping hot, so it made it difficult to eat right away. Once it cooled down it was so delicious! This was not your canned Minestrone soup! So full of flavor and not super salty. I could have just had this as a meal, so I tried to save some room for my spinach lasagna. Wow and wow and wow! Again a very large portion that did not skip on flavor or seasoning. Every bite was so amazing! I only got a few bites in before my stomach told me to stop! I did manage to try my uncle's seafood pasta which was super rich and heavy; but again super flavorful. I liked that the portions were generous, but they did not skip on the seasoning. Again I see why this is a favorite! I will be back when I am in the area again!! A must!!

The menu had some fun specials like the Luigi and the OBG, and if you leave hungry after ordering one of those, that is on you! The pasta was tasty, although it looked like spaghetti had been promoted to "Employee of the Month" and assigned to just about every dish. They also have a nice bar area and a small outdoor patio that would be a great spot to enjoy a meal when the weather cooperates. Now, the service... the tables around us got the fresh-ground pepper and grated cheese treatment. We just sat there wondering if we had accidentally ordered the "self-serve" package. By the time our food arrived, the plates were hot enough to suggest they had enjoyed a little extra vacation under the heat lamp, and my shrimp had definitely spent a few extra minutes on that journey. With restaurant prices these days, I always ask myself one question: "Could I make this at home?" If the answer is yes, then the service and overall experience have to make dining out worth it. What about you? What makes dining out for you? Overall, I am not sure I would go back for the pasta, but I would absolutely give Luigi's another shot for the pizza. They looked delicious coming out of the kitchen, and we are always on the hunt for a great Italian pie. Who knows... maybe the pizza is where Luigi really shines!

My boyfriend ordered these spaghetti and meatballs, and I ordered the penne Bolognese. The meatballs had lots of flavor and were not very dry. I do believe that the meatballs were used in the penne Bolognese and we're just chopped up finally. Lots of flavor in the sauce as well! The Caesar salad was nice and fresh with plenty of croutons and lots of Parmesan. The bread on the side of the pasta was grilled lightly on each side to add a little bit of flavor and crunch. We ate every last bit of our food! Would highly recommend eating beer!

She tipped herself 20% because she knew there's no way she would get a tip if it wasn't for that. The manager Sabas didn't do much to alleviate the situation. Hope they learn to filter people like this out of their positions so the business doesn't end up paying for their worker's attitudes. Let me tell you about my experience today at the Blue Springs, MO location. It was as disappointing as ordering a pizza and only getting the box. Honestly, I might have preferred that. First, the pizza itself. It barely had any pepperoni or cheese on it. I've seen crackers with more toppings. When I called to address the issue, I spoke with Kayla, the manager on duty. Unfortunately, Kayla seemed more interested in laughing and chatting with her coworkers than actually helping me. When I brought up the lack of toppings, my ongoing frustration with this location's consistent issues, and the fact that I had told my husband we shouldn't order from here because well the pizza is always disappointing. Kayla seemed to find the whole situation amusing. Spoiler: it wasn't. She offered no solutions--no refund, no credit. Instead, she pointed out that since I had given my 3-year-old the smallest piece of pizza to calm a meltdown, where she was screaming "I love messed up pizza," when I was trying to explain it needed to go back... I wasn't eligible for anything. When I asked for the corporate number to escalate the issue, she claimed she didn't know it and wasn't motivated to find it. She eventually mentioned it was online but admitted she wouldn't even know where to direct me. The only real help Kayla gave me during the entire call was spelling her name correctly. That's it. Beyond that, she sarcastically offered to remake the pizza, adding that she didn't know how many times she'd have to remake it since I "clearly don't like the way they make pizza, their crust, or their toppings." Not exactly the customer service experience I was hoping for. At this point, I'm not picky--I'm just looking for someone, anyone, from Pizza Hut to step in and Make Apizza Great Again. Please let me know how we can resolve this. And maybe consider a refresher course in customer service for Kayla--because sarcasm and dismissal shouldn't be part of a manager's skillset. There are two other Blue Springs Pizza Huts that have both provided pretty consistent and excellent service. It's this location that consistently disappoints. Thanks, Jen

We both agreed the the Crepa was our favorite but they were both very good! The Italian sausage was very flavorful. We ate half of each pizza and saved room for dessert. Our waitress recommended the S'mores with added cookie dough. It was so yummy and worth the calories! We love supporting these type of specialty restaurants in St Joe. We will definitely be back!
