2 slider meal with small vanilla shake
    Earl A.

Saw this location is on Gessner, right past Westview. I saw one of my fellow Yelp purses went to one yesterday and I decided to check this one out as this one is closest to home. I ordered a two slider combo which comes with a waffle fries and a drink for my drink. I had a vanilla shake. The sliders were very good. The bread was very soft. It only comes with one pickle, but I could live with that and the vanilla shake was really good. Service was great. I went through the drive-through and it went very quickly. There is a small patio. well not really that small but one way you could sit out and eat if you decided that you didn't want to take yours to go. I highly recommend visiting them if you like sliders or any type of burgers they were excellent.

Went thru the drive thru. It moved pretty fast so that's good . My Coke Zero tasted like carbonated water but they kindly swapped it out for a sweet tea which was good. I ordered the 2. The sliders were great for a fast food place and drive through. I mean this place def moves up in my top fast food joints for sure now. The waffle fries is what really makes this place elites curly fries style seasoning in a waffle fry form. Only reason I would give this place 4 stars and not 5 is because the meals don't come with a dipping sauce. You should at least get one and not have to pay extra if you ordered a combo imo. I understand extra sauce or whatever but just one fry sauce after ordering a combo idk. Next time I'll try the queso dip but overall great place I'll be back

This is the 4. They will give you less fries when you spend more money on their 4 sliders combo.

Service. Fine. Food. Fine. Lying to your face, paramount. I had a 1 minute conversation with the kid about the cup of queso that is advertised and he said "Yeah, before we did have the cup but now we do and it's big". With a smile on his face, he said that. AND THEY STILL GIVE THIS BS DINKY POS for queso (please see my pictures). This place is a house of lies. F this place. Sliders are ok. Fries are good. But sell what you advertise you POS! Would I go back? No. When I find out who the owners are, I will review them too.

Tried there 3 smalls combo and upgraded the burgers from smalls to biggie smalls (two patty's instead of one). The sliders were a smash burger style which I prefer. Each burger had melted cheese, pickles, and had there signature "smauce" on it. The burger was super tasty and the creamy sauce reminded me of in-and-out's animal sauce. (7/10) The fries were also crispy and had good seasoning. (6.5/10) This is the perfect food for after a night out and the best part is that this location is open until 3 am. My only complaint is that I wish they served more fries with the combo. They only have limited outdoor seating and are mainly a grab and go spot so keep that in mind.

overall flavor was great BUT between the small portions (3 fries??) and the name given on my order..this place does not have my recommendation. this is quite unacceptable on many levels

    Biggie smalls combo.

Was greeted by Song as she explained the menu and took our order. She was pleasant and patient with this being our first time. Food came out hot and fresh. Manager came out and conversed with us before our meal. This was definitely worth the 3 hour drive on a Sunday morning. Three biggie smalls combo for $42.

I've been seeing this place on my for you page so my next trip to Houston, I had to try. It was honestly really good and I would go back. The service was great and they were really helpful since it was out first time. There wasn't a long wait for the food and everything was piping hot.

My mom recommended this place to me and I'm glad I tried it out! Burgers and fries were fresh and hot. I enjoyed the cheese dipping sauce for the fries. They were quick and efficient at the drive thru. Even if there is a little bit of a wait for the food it's well worth it.

I went on a Monday afternoon during lunch rush hour. There was a bit of a line in the drive thru, but honestly they kept that line moving. So the wait wasn't that long to me. Keep in mind it's basically a drive thru only restaurant. There is an order/pickup window with a few dining tables outside, but who is about to be outside in this Texas heat. I ordered their 3 sliders combo with a side of their queso cheese. While I disagree with the price & portion size, it was good. It came with seasoned waffle fries and a medium drink. Apparently if you get the 4 sliders that will come with a large drink. There were servers outside in the drive thru line taking orders and keeping the line moving. Poor things were out there in that sun with no tent/shelter and no fan. And even with that, they still were patient and kind to us. I ate one slider before getting back on the road and tried some of it with the cheese. I liked the sliders. It was good. More patty than a Krystal's or White Castle. Just wish I could've sat inside and eaten it. The ones that I ate later on got a bit soggy. I would get them again.

Smalls was solid! They have a walk up window or drive through. Buns were soft and made fresh. Highly reccomend getting queso and smauce to add more flavor to your burger. We added bacon to one order and kept the other plain. Their shakes were tasty too!

    Diana J.

Best thing was seasoned waffle fries. Eat them fresh. Sliders were good but I think I'm the type that can't just do meat, bread, cheese. The bun was soft, everything was goods I really need lettuce and onions and stuff to cut the grease. The only sauces they have are their smauce and queso.

This is the number two. It's two sliders fries, and a soda

It's very hard for me to give someplace five stars, but I believe Small Sliders deserves it. Look this is no papa's burgers or pub cap or any of the other height and burger places in Houston but you won't be disappointed. The food is very good. The burgers were juicy and very tasty. I paid around $11 for fries a soda and two sliders... let me tell you the sliders are not that small. The fries came out very crispy and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is they only have outside seating but based on Bang for buck value and quality, I would say that this is a fun little place to come for some good comfort food And a friendly atmosphere!

So I was driving down Gessner and found small sliders. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to get, but I was very amazed. I got the two slider combo with the waffle fries and a side of cheese sauce. The lady they had working in the drive-through was absolutely amazing. She provided five star customer service remembered everyone in the lines, names and orders as well as with hustling back-and-forth by herself working the entire drive-through line on a busy day. They offer Outside dining, which is not ideal for Houston heat, but I took my food to go because I was in a hurry. I'll definitely be back. Told by one of the workers that this restaurant is owned by Drew Brees and that it was bought here from Louisiana. I have never seen one in the boot but I hope y see more. Open one in Katy please!

I had opted for a beef burger with a side of chili cheese tater tots to share. The burger is quite large and filled generously with whatever add-ins you check off so it was very filling for me. I went with two 2oz patties, but considering the size, I'd opt for a single 2 oz patty if I go back. For my burger I also added scallion aioli which didn't have a strong green onion flavor but was still nice and added creaminess to the burger overall. The tater tots were super crispy, and the chili cheese topping was nice. I had gone shortly after they opened and it wasn't super busy but it started to quickly fill up around 11:30-12. The basic burger is $12, and anything you want to add or replace is extra. Now that's including the basic sauce, which I thought would be an additional homemade sauce if I needed. Again, I am learning. I ordered grilled chicken, but at the counter, a very nice person, Eric, told me they were out of grilled chicken and had fried chicken available. I guess so, since I spend some time. I don't want to wait any longer. I also ordered homemade lemonade, which came with lots of ice. I requested that some ice be removed. I also added chard jalapenos, which were tasteless and slightly burned, so they lost their flavor. The food pick-up area was separate, and the guy who gave you a food tray could have been friendlier and said thank you. Oh well, my burger was a piece of chicken with lettuce and onion. It was ok but very dry inside. So make sure you order sauce or anything for your burger, and pay for it. When I got there, the dining hall was empty. I like this place, but plz if you're going there for the first time, read the menu carefully and place your order. Service could be friendlier, and the dining hall was clean.

I went with the Double Good Burger at Johnny Good Burger, and honestly... it was surprisingly good. Perfectly smashed patties with those crispy edges, juicy inside, and well-balanced flavors that didn't feel overcomplicated. Sometimes simple just works--and this definitely did. The fries deserve their own shoutout: extra crispy, hot, and downright addictive. No soggy sadness here. I kept telling myself "just one more" until the tray was mysteriously empty. All in all, a very satisfying burger experience. If you're in the mood for a legit smash burger and happen to be wandering POST Houston, this one's absolutely worth stopping for.

There were no other customers at the time, but that's to be expected for a slow Monday. The menu is quite simple with just 4 different entrees, 3 different ways to order fries, and a few soft drink options in a cold case. Everything here is a la carte but there is a combo option where you can save about $3 off the regular menu pricing. I chose the "Double Good" and added a patty for $3 more figuring the patties are most likely very thin. The burger comes with lettuce, onion tomato, pickles and special sauce. I subbed the American for Swiss, but the Swiss ended up being a Swiss-American blend, so it tasted mostly like American cheese which I hate. I keep having bad luck with Swiss lately. The patty is about 1/4 lb and tastes similar to a home cooked burger. I ended up setting the burger down and just eating the patty with a fork since I didn't like the taste of the cheese, sauce, or the entire burger as a whole after a handful of bites. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it but this is not a burger I would come back for, especially at this price point.

Clutch City Grill sits next to Burger Chan (the most recent title holder of best burger for my son) but this Sunday, they were not open so we tried the one we didn't try last time--CCG. And let me just say that this place tucked away inside a collective indoor food concession aka The Conservatory Galleria, has every right to boldly don the clutch city burger title. Inside this perfectly grilled almost Hawaiian role type hint of sweet homemade bun is a masterclass of burger perfection, made right in front of you and to your liking based on your selections from the order tap screens. While, waiting, I looked at everything I didn't order as it was being served and I'm almost certain that anything you order at CCG is delicious. Presentation is superb because others were sitting with large selections in front of them that caused me a bit of buyers remorse--I couldn't decide. The vibe is chill enough to talk to the grill master while my son was figuring out his massive burger order--he randomly had a hash brown added to a patty melt. And ordered something to take home or in case one order wasn't enough for the teen appetite. But the food is massive. I cannot stress that enough. Portions of everything there are beyond generous from what we saw and this is the kind of place where there's delivery guys picking up, people working on their laptops and the average joe grabbing takeout after work as well as families having dinner but not crowded. We sat and reflected on a great shopping day in a chill environment and reminisced on the old days of Galleria area last minute back to school night before/we should do this more type of memories in the making. The take something to go plus my own leftover (cutting the burger in half is an open from the order touch screen) and it passed the ultimate test of being really good cold the next day. This place begs the question--where is everybody? I can't be the only one who knows about it. But also was inviting enough to silently confirm that I think we've found our place.
