So even tho my experience was a wonderful one! My 72 year old cancer patient mother misplaced her debit. I immediately called. The manager says no one has brought a card to me. I said is it OK if you walk around to the floor at least ask me what register something and go see if it was dropped. It's only us to hear. And I'm like well someone should be able to go and I just got immediately frustrated because no one's taking actions and I said that's OK have a good day and I hung up the phone. Really need some better customer service . My mother 72 years old all I wanted her to do was go and look for the card. Honestly I don't patronize Oakland and I live in Oakland but simple stuff like this makes me not want to patronize it even more it will take another three seconds to go and look.

I'm a satisfied client very fast even during holidays and ver friendly, really appreciate.

I love Smart & Final, a solid four-star business across all outlets. I shop San Pablo, Hayward, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, South SF and Southern California locations regularly. Last trip to this location. Yes, they were out of some things I wanted, but it's S&F, so it happens. But the things they had were far more expensive than any other location I have been to. Carrots, $5.99, sometimes $4.99 at other nearby S&Fs, $9.99 here. And they were partially rotted on the ends. Canned beans, shelf priced at $0.79 like every other S&F, rings up at $0.89. I think everything I bought was 10-20% higher. I can't blame the store for things like half-eaten cookie packages on the shelf and smash-and-grab auto burglaries in the parking lot (prior visit), but these things don't make the overall experience pleasant.

Good place for shopping ,good price ,Btw Have parking car btw around was a little bit not clean.

5-Star Review for Uriah at Sprouts…read more I wanted to take a moment to recognize Uriah for the exceptional customer service he consistently provides. I have been shopping at this Sprouts location for years, and he is truly one of the best employees I have ever encountered. Uriah is always knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely pleasant. No matter how busy the store is, he takes the time to help customers with a positive attitude and a smile. His attention to detail and commitment to customer service never go unnoticed. One thing I particularly appreciate is his dedication to food safety and cleanliness. I've observed him changing his gloves appropriately when preparing sandwiches and meals, which demonstrates both professionalism and respect for customers. What stands out most is his consistency. Every interaction with Uriah is positive. He is helpful, approachable, hardworking, and clearly takes pride in his work. Employees like him are a major reason I continue to shop at this location. Sprouts is fortunate to have him on the team. If there were a higher rating than 5 stars, I would gladly give it. Uriah is truly a 100/10 and deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does every day.

I was offered a free taster of chocolate candy. That was fun. I love the store colors. It's a grounding experience. Nearby are nice, clean benches and tables for sitting, taking in the sun, and eating some of your favorite treats, from them or nearby Chipotle. The prices were competitive. I had a taste for crab patties. They had some ground crab, however. I hope they will consider carrying crabcakes one day. Otherwise, I rate this place a 10. Yummy desserts.

Looking for cheese? There is a hidden nook across from the meat case that offers an amazing, well curated selection of cheeses. Prices in some areas are a little bit higher than somewhere like WF, but they are not a massive corporation, so it is understandable. The staff works like a friendly cohesive team offering great customer service. The market was full of customers, but they did a fantastic job at not allowing lines to form. I plan on making Piedmont Grocery one of my regular stops!

The prices can be a bit high, but they come at a reasonable cost with the high quality products that are presented. My only stipulation is the front end manager Luis makes me feel uncomfortable when I go through his line, always rushing to get the work done and not seeming like he enjoys his work. I have heard rumors from other employees of him having poor work ethic, but I'm just putting in my 2 cents. Overall, outstanding selection! Brian and Casey never fail to put a smile on my face!

The place had a farmers market/Sprouts kind of feel and carried predominantly organic produce. They have almost every type of product but maybe only 1-2 brands for each. I liked that there were many plant-based options, from cream cheese to frozen meals or sweets, but I was disappointed that they specifically didn't have nondairy yogurt which is one of my go-to's for breakfast. Almost everything is organic, and the price reflects that; a regular 15oz can of tomato sauce was $4. Besides that, it seems like a safe and convenient place to shop with their wide selections. The staff member helping at check-out was also very friendly.

Fortunately, Monte Vista is a nice, local produce market that does! In addition to Thai basil, they also provide ingredients like Thai chili peppers and even Makrut lime leaves. Overall, it's a nice, neighborhood produce market that offers Asian ingredients and has a friendly staff. Happy to support it, while it supports my curries and sweet-and-spicy stir-fry dishes.

But there's a reason for my continued patronage at this store: it slashes my grocery budget by at least 50 percent, if not more. It makes a big difference during these inflationary times. I used to stick with packaged goods, but in more recent years I've also been getting as much produce as possible at this GO. It's quite a bit less than at the other grocery store I often frequent, a family-run business in the Dimond district. It's not hard to find quality produce here, and they have a respectable amount of organics. The one thing that keeps me from giving this store a full five stars is the fact that they allow signature gatherers to set up shop by the front door, and these people thrust their their damn clipboards and pens in your face when you try to walk in. Today, when I politely declined to fork over my signature, the woman told me, "You should try to give a hoot about this," which was quite annoying. I'm not going to put my signature on something I haven't researched beforehand. These things are not always what they seem to be. In any case, I go to Grocery Outlet to do my shopping, not to debate ballot initiatives with people I do not know, and certainly not to be shamed by them when I don't give them what they want. I really, really wish the GO would not allow these signature gatherers to harass their customers, who are not there to engage in political discussions. In fact, I wish they wouldn't allow these people on the property AT ALL.
