I received what seemed like a good, fast oil change for my Mini Cooper at Smart Care Auto Center. I liked that I didn't have to wait in my car while they changed my oil and instead, they drove my car in the 20 feet from where I'd parked (this felt like valet!) and I stayed in the smallish "waiting room" reading their magazine collection. Everyone was very nice but the oil change was pricey (more than $70 I believe) and, while I know my Mini often costs more (silly BMW brand ;) ), this still seemed like a lot! They also seemed to have a lot of signs up asking for Yelp reviews. Overall, an okay experience for an oil change and I will likely be back as the location is convenient! read more

This location really is as good as it gets, I've been coming here for 9 years, since I had my first car in college and my entire family has done the same. Adrian and Gabriel are as reliable as they get and have always given my family and I the best possible service, going above and beyond. I always go for oil changes, breaks/rotors, filter replacement, 90K mile maintenance etc. I'm very grateful for the very fair pricing and convenience they offer. My truck started to rust on the roof and as it got closer to the seal, Gabriel told me exactly what I needed to do, without spending a fortune in a body shop and now it's tip top. Today I came in after I noticed my breaks shaking for a while, the rotors I had installed were under warranty and they replaced them in less than 2 hours and gave me full insight on what was going on. I took my car to these guys to have a smog done, after 45 min of watching fumble around trying to find my ignition timing reading they came over and told me it failed because of my timing and charged me $40 for the smog. after I left I had a feeling they simply gave up trying to read the timing of my car so I took it over to a smog only location and what do you know it passed 1st try. When taking the print out of the passed smog to them asking for my money back they refused and even started to get very loud and say I must have did something to the car. what a joke these bastards are a piece of work. Finally an honest mechanic! Being a mechanic myself for 4 years I know how ez it can be to drain a customers pockets when the're in dire need of there vehicle back in good working order. Finding a good shop is one thing, finding a good mechanic is another. I got my quote to tune up my van at a reasonable price. I have been taking my families three vehicles to Smart Care Auto for several years. Besides doing a wonderful job in a short amount of time, the owner and employees are always very professional. More than once they have advised me to take my vehicle to the Honda Dealership for something that might be still covered under warranty. Recently they notified me of a small oil leak under my transmission. They mentioned that the reason I had probably had not noticed the leak is that it would only be leaking when the vehicle was running. When I went down to the local Honda Dealer (Redwood Honda) it turned out to be a serious matter.
