I came to the Brea Mall location in the end of May to repair my son's iPad screen. A month later the screen they repaired was not working properly, and had a glitch. I came back today and told them the screen they replaced is no longer working and would like it replaced under their 1yr warranty. They asked me for a receipt, I had misplaced it and I offered them a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction of their charge for the repair, they said they can't use my bank statement. I told them if they could look me up in their system and they said "we do not have a system to look up your invoice". So they told me I would have to pay for a new screen that was under warranty since I had miss placed my receipt. I am very disappointed in this shady business. Do not come here for repairs, they replace screens with bad screens that do not last! read more

I stopped by to fix my older S4. Andy was very helpful with explaining what needed to done. After he took my phone apart he realized the frame was broken in multiple spots which would cause additional problems. He informed me and proceeded to fix it anyway with a new frame! Horrible service. My phone's camera lens broke and they replaced it, to only find out that they replaced it with a scratched lens that made my phone camera foggy. We returned to have it replaces and one worker called us a liar, was arguing with us and proceeding to talk poorly about us to other customer. He blamed it on the camera and kept trying to tell us we were wrong. It was very rude and disrespectful. read more

I previously gave a good review when I just received my phone after being fixed but shortly after taking my phone home, it started tripping out constantly. It has been over a month since I have gotten my phone screen fixed and now my phone moves on its own, changes apps on its own, freezes all the time, types on its own and even makes phone calls on its own. I don't know if they tapped into my phone and someone is doing this or if it is a glitch from when the screen was being replaced. NOT worth my money. Now I need to buy a new phone. Worst experience ever! My iPhone 6 had a cracked screen and shards of glass were literally falling out. I stopped by Smartfix Brea Mall. The guy there kept trying to negotiate a price to replace the screen and after he kept trying to sell me on his replacement screen I was sold. For the "cheaper than most" price of $70 and a 15 minute wait my cracked screen was no more and my phone was all better. Only thing, the display seemed to lack it's clarity and sharpness. But ok maybe it was all in my head. Two weeks later to my horror I woke up to use my phone and it had grey horizontal lines going through the display and shook and flickered! I did NOTHING TO THIS PHONE! What the hell?! I immediately got up and went straight to the mall and to Smartfix. I approached the guy who assisted me and showed him what was going on expecting kindness and an apology and an offer to fix the faulty work. Nope! I got accused of ruining my phone mind the only offer I got was for him to "fix" it for another payment but this time it was $120! Holy crap I was in tears and asked him to please so what was right as clearly it was their cheap parts and bad job that was the issue. While there another customer was simultaneously complaining that his phone has malfunctioned after Smartfix handled his phone. They laughed at both of us and turned their backs and continued ruining someone else's phone. Don't go here! They are crooks. They WILL put cheap parts on your phone. I took my phone elsewhere after this new company reached out to me on here. They were honest and used good parts for fair prices. My phone is all better but my alley could use a refund of oh let's say $70? Lesson learned however. read more

So finally after tired of looking at my cracked screen and called multiple places someone at a place that I called thinking they fix phones recommended me here said less then 15 min and loves how her phone came out so I called and yup sure enough less then 15min my phone looked brand new and loved it would recommend anyone with a cracked phone here nice and professional and price isn't bad either read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE. I brought my iPhone 5s to Smart Fix on the second floor inside the Brea Mall to get the screen replaced a few weeks back after i had dropped it and cracked the screen. The job was done within 20 minutes which seemed odd considering if you've ever dealt directly with Apple, this type of job should take at least an hour. While at first the job seemed to have been done right, within two days the screen started flickering and stopped responding to touch. So naturally, I brought the phone back to get fixed again (properly) and the man at the desk was very rude and proceeded to tell us that there was nothing he could do. He said the phone had been damaged (which was the reason we brought it here in the first place. He was incredibly vulgar in the way he talked to us, claiming I sat on my phone and my weight was the reason the phone wasn't working properly (I'm 6 feet and 125 pounds and my phone is always in my front pocket). He then proceeded to tell me that he would replace the screen but he needed to keep the original receipt in order to process the replacement (meaning that if it happened again we would be out of luck). Overall it was a very unpleasant experience and extremely sub par work. Many other alternative screen repair places inside the Brea Mall. Do not go here. You will regret it.... read more

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a buyer at the mall and on my way there, I dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I quickly googled a place to take it to get fixed and Smart Fix popped up. I rushed to take my phone and I was greeted by two gentlemen. Michael helped me, he gave me a quote, and explained what he needed to do. I drove 45 minutes to Brea Mall to get my phone fixed AGAIN under warranty by Speed Repair. When I walked in to the mall looking for the kiosk the new kiosk Smart Fix that replaced them told me that they left the mall and sold their business from the mall. I was so upset and even though it was two completely different companies they still took the time to help me out and apologized. They ended up fixing my phone and the customer service was amazing. Abdula helped me and he is very kind and understanding, from now on this is where I will be going to get my phone fixed even though it is far there is too many service company's for electronic repair that rips you off.
