When my furnace failed I downloaded the schematics for my unit, broke out my tools, and started troubleshooting the issue. My conclusion was that the main blower had failed, and I relayed that information to Christopher. Do not hire Smart Heating and Air Conditioning!!!!! Their tech named "Benny" lied! He said the A/C condenser was not working, the freon was empty and that the run capacitor wiring was put on wrong and had fried the unit. He told me that getting a replacement was the only way to go and that it would be 8-12,000 dollars. So I decided to get a second opinion "Eric - from Integrity Air" and the guy got it up and running in 10 min. He quickly notice that "Benny" had unplugged some cables (basically sabotaged the unit) The repair guy also said all the things that your guy "Benny" said were not true. This review is long overdue. Back on August 8, 2023, my A/C went out. After looking online at different HVAC companies I chose Smart Heating and Air Conditioning and I am so pleased that I did. I called the office and spoke with Jen on the 8th and Sam came out to my home on the 9th for a complete inspection of my A/C and furnace. Unfortunately, they were both quite old and could not be repaired but needed to be replaced. The heater actually had cracks in the out take pipes and was actually quite dangerous and since it was in my attic i never would have seen the problems. The crew was out the following day (Angel, Benny and Miguel) and completed the job that day. The system passed both the intermediary inspection and the city of Concord inspection the first time. I have nothing but good things to say about Smart. Their communication was amazing sending texts with photos of who was coming and when and they arrived on time and were all so courteous, knowledgeable, respectful of my property and left everything clean when they were gone. First thing Wednesday morning Frank was at my door. Within a few minutes he had figured out what the problem was and got to work on the repairs. He got my furnace back running as good as new. When I went up in the attic to take a look after he left, I was floored. My furnace is cleaner than the builder left it when I bought the house.
