Picked up two personal pizza orders; one veggie one meaty. It was alright. Could have used a few more minutes in the oven but that is a personal preference. The dough is soft but not springy and also not thin enough, so it feels like a homemade pizza. We were super hesitant to come here due the low reviews. I can definitely see how the service wasn't the most friendly, but the food was very decent. We got a ranch chicken pizza, which had tender pieces of chicken and plenty of bacon. I don't think the Cajun sauce really tastes like much at all underneath all the toppings. I really liked the sweetness of the sauce with the onions as well. We picked up hot honey from a supermarket and that was a great dinner! We ordered a Ceasar salad, a whole loaf of garlic bread, lemonade and 2 pizzas (Toby Fav and Cajun Combo). We sat outside and our food was brought outside. The lemonade was refreshing, the salad was crisp, the garlic bread was tasty, the pizzas were delicious and the even the ranch was good! Five adults and two kids went in for pizza. Most of us were from out of town but the one local said this was her favorite pizza. We ordered a large Zorba the Greek pizza had feta, spinach etc and was vegetarian and Toby's Fav with sausage, pepperoni and garlic. Both were delicious. Particularly wonderful was the crust. It had a good amount of crust but was not heavy and chewy like most pizzas. It was the best crust I have eaten in years. The service was great, staff friendly even gave the kids some toy cars. Camping nearby and decided to get a pizza for my teens and the whole experience was terrible. The rude vibe when we walked in should have been a clue but we ordered anyways. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and waited while having a beer. After walking all the way back to the campsite my kids tried to grab a slice and all the toppings slid right off and it was undercooked. So they sent me pics because my husband and I were still there finishing our beer. I proceeded to show the woman there with no intention to ask for a refund but just to show them what we were working with. She proceeded to slam something down and tell me that my kids don't know how to pick up a pizza that was too hot! I said look they walked all the way to the campsite like is that not enough time for the pizza to be ready, and also my kids are teens and they are pizza experts and have never had a problem picking up a slice of pizza. I told her since we walked in you guys have both been so rude and we are spending money here and tipping. She says "I'm sorry you feel that way"! Not an "I'm sorry for my terrible attitude". I did not ask for a refund nor did I intend to and my husband and I walked out. My brother also ordered a pizza and the entire pizza was burned at the bottom! He decided it wasn't worth walking all the way back. I feel so upset spending money at this establishment and being treated so rudely. Also what the menu price says isn't correct and they will charge more. Anchovies say $1 on the menu but they said it's $2 then proceeded to charge me $3 until I realized adding it up. Susie and Sue need to be removed immediately terrible customer service. My family and I stopped here while camping nearby because there aren't too many food options in the area. Unfortunately this turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The first issue was with the pricing. Their menu clearly listed anchovies as a $1 topping, but the employee insisted they were $3. When we politely pointed out that their own menu that they created themselves advertised them for $1, instead of honoring the posted price or acknowledging the mistake kindly, the employee disrespectfully tells us "Alright you want to pay $1? I'll give you $1 worth." That's not how you treat paying customers. If your prices have changed update your menu but to say " You want to pay $1 i'll give you $1 worth" just blatantly rude and disrespectful. It's what YOUR menu is advertising so her attitude was uncalled for. I wish it ended there but it didn't. We walked about five minutes back to our campsite and find our pizza with the cheese completely slid off, the slices are clumped together. We weren't asking for a refund or free food, my mom simply brought it back to show them because we had paid for it and there was clearly an issue. Instead of apologizing they proceeded to tell my mother "Your kids need to learn how to pick up pizza," followed by "They needed to let it cool down." Those responses were rude and completely unprofessional. Rather than acknowledging the problem or trying to make it right, they immediately blamed us. A pizza can get messed up that happens. What shouldn't happen is blaming customers, refusing to take responsibility, and treating them with sarcasm when they calmly point out a legitimate issue. Between the incorrect menu pricing, the dismissive attitude, and the way our concerns were handled, I won't be returning and can't recommend this place to anyone visiting Guerneville. read more

This lovely unapologetic popular pizza place at the river gets very busy. I was eager for a quick snack and noted that they had pizza bread and got in and out and a reasonable amount of time so if you're in a hurry and you need some quick super tasty eats. I do have to recommend the pizza bread Place is and the staff is no nonsense and straightforward which adds to its charm. Seeing the locals come to grab their pizzas and come at closing and hopes they get a pizza an hour later amusing. Everyone wants to seem to get a bite here, but do you plan ahead order ahead and get the pizza of your dreams because people do covet the pizza here. From the get go the Pizza Maker person was so rude, argumentative and confrontational and somewhat mocking, we almost didn't proceed w/the pizza order. He actually started to get in an argument with me over where he came from and sadly some political BS. My friend and I both agreed, the owner needs to know of this very rude employee. Especially considering the Pizza was off the hook fantastic! Great combinations, generous size, wonderful fluffy and chewy crust, piping hot and once you start, it's hard to stop eating it. Yummy pizza sauce too, that did not overwhelm and it was not swimming in runny cheese. All ingredients were right to the edge of the crust. If you are in the area, do give it a try. A pie takes about 30+ min., so grab a beer and eat outside. Just wish the beer had been colder, as in the little red cup it warmed up pretty quickly. If there were a dollar sign rating for the cost of their pizza I would ring it in at about $$$$$. The pizzas are pricey. No matter, their food is very good. In past years I have eaten in and during summer the back deck is unique and pleasant. In recent years I mostly order take out to watch a ball game at home (usually pizza, but their spaghetti and meatballs is excellent and generous) .
