Why is this place so darn good? Forreal!? After reading about their HH, I figured I'd go check it out. It did take us an awkward few minutes to be seated.. and yes, it was awkward as no one greeted us, and didn't talk to us until we stood there for a while, not sure if we were to be seated ourselves or wait. And it seems you seat yourself. We quickly got menus, and they seemed to rush us to order because we ordered in less than 5 minutes, which is a record for me because I love to take my time to order. But it doesn't matter too much cuz I was satisfied! We got the sandwich sampler and ordered the Miss Piggy, the Trouble Maker and the Falcone. IDK why the Falcone isn't on the menu on the website but it is sure damn good. I think that is the one that was my favorite. Let me say that all the subs, were so damn good. Juicy, tender and had the right amount of creamy dressing to it, and the bread was toasted but soft too. I absolutely loved the bread. I think my favorite was the Falcone because it was the juiciest and had the most flavor. The Trouble maker was goood too. I think this is the one with italian herbs b/c my friend didn't like it. Ms. Piggy was definitely good. I'm not a big fan of pulled pork, but this was hella bomb. I'm salivating thinking about it, haha. We also ordered the chilli con queso that was served with nacho chips. It was definitely cheesy, which I didn't even think about. It was good though. They said it had meat in it, but I wasn't sure if it did. Either way, it was good. Very cheesy. Nice beans, and tomatoes to the mixture which I loved. I would definitely order it again... but I wouldn't eat it all. It's a small cup, but to me, the cheese is overbearing because I'm not a crazed cheese fanatic. But still good though. We killed it... we killed all the food. LOL. So my friend and I split the tab in half after we ate and it came to about $6 a person. Pretty cheap and we were hella full after that. At first glance it looks like a biker bar, and I'm thinking it might be. It's also a place that you get your beer and hard cider goodness. Came here for lunch with my work cohorts. It's a neat looking space. The place was fairly busy, and service was fairly slow. The people were pleasant. The Chicago Italian Beef sandwich was okay. I'd like to say it was good, but really, it was lacking in flavor. It was moist, and had the pickled vegetables, and whatnot. It wasn't bad, but it's not worth writing home about. It was a decent size, and I didn't leave hungry. The chips and salsa side was disappointing. The salsa came in a little paper cup, and was hard to manage, and there really wasn't enough of it for the chips. The chips weren't bad, but seemed like they came out of a bag. I believe my cohorts fared better than I. One said the meatball sandwich was tasty, and the other had the Troublemaker and was impressed with it. Once upon a time, I used to take the bus through Georgetown and I would pass by Smarty Pants. The name always intrigued me. The number of motorcycles and Vespas parked on the street also caught my curiousity. It wasn't until 8 years later that I made plans to check out the bar. Maybe its because the area has transformed itself and coming to Georgetown means a visit to Elleno's, Fran's, Cuidad, Sisters and Brothers, and now Smarty Pants. I guess it goes to show when you take things for granted, you just may be missing out. My visit during Happy Hour involved an order of the HH quesadilla ($3.50 for a quesadilla, sides of jalapenos, pico de gallo, and sour cream) and a regular order of the French dip sandwich, which comes with au jus that nearly made up for the soup being out of stock. The au jus has tid bits of meat, drippings, and onions, which gives it a French onion soup-like consistency. No cheese, but hey, the salt in the au jus more than compensates for any added flavor cheese would give us. The multigrain tortilla chips served on the side give the meal a nice health kick, but I wasn't a fan of the pico de gallo. It lacked flavor, perhaps because tomatoes aren't in season or jalapeno was omitted. I recommend asking for a side of the giardiniera peppers, which added a touch of heat to the sandwich. Almost akin to an Italian beef experience. There is an Italian beef sandwich on the menu, but the French dip with the peppers is the best of both worlds. Service is prompt and polite, and even with half the bar empty, your server may offer the bill just as promptly. This was the only negative aspect of my visit here. I felt rushed, but I also noticed people came for HH and left within an hour or two. Parking is limited to street parking out front or on a nearby side street, and in some places its restricted to 1 hour, which may be why service is rushed. If you're not in a rush...The HH food and drink specials here are unmatched, and once you settle your tab, you're welcome to stay, as we did, for a couple more hours un-interrupted. read more

Two of my coworkers recently took me here for the first time for lunch. We work in South Park and the commute, available nearby street parking, and quick friendly service allowed us to enjoy a nice break and meal without too much rush. I ordered the Turkey and Avocado Sandwich and potato salad. It was a perfect serving size for lunch, and the french roll was pleasantly warm and perfectly toasted. Taste-wise, I would say both the sandwich and potato salad could have used more flavor. However, I'm a condiment-lover, so if you are not then you may think differently. The look of the place is pretty nice as well. Not dungy looking and big windows at the entrance bring in lots of natural light in the limited seating area. It was lunch with my coworkers. We can either go down to South Center or go up to Georgetown. There are not a lot of options around the office. I thought my manager picked a nice area to have lunch because that's the area I may never go by myself. Yes, not quite ghetto, but it's very industrial. Smarty Pants! I saw a lot of my Yelp fellows checked in there. I would never know they serve lunch. I just thought it's a bar where people drink and watch sports. Not sure how to categorize this bar, maybe a dive bar, maybe a biker bar? I ordered a philly sandwich for my lunch. I really liked the grilled onions and green peppers. However, I feel the bread can be a little smaller so that I wouldn't feel there wasn't enough meat. Overall, I thought it's a good sandwich. I paid $12 with tips. In my quest to find a perfect french dip, I happened upon Smarty Pants and decided to give their iteration a go. It was the sandwich special of the evening -- so how could resist? This "biker bar" is surprisingly cozy -- friendly and warm service, nice patrons, and hey! Patio seating with fire pits in the table. Cool. We sat inside, ordered a Manny's (we were in Georgetown, duh!) and waited for our specials. The verdict? So damn close. My bread was nice and toasty, my au jus was actually rich and flavorful (with a delightful mystery herbal undertone), cheese was melted, and my roast beef warm. So my only complaint? My sandwich could have used more meat. MOAR! It was, sadly... more on the skimpy side of things, CW's chili con queso was tasty -- pre-bagged chips but with a lovely warming cheese dip full of beans, peppers, and other spices. It's still a 5 star joint! I had brunch with my Seattle Yelper Auction prize, Alison R., on Sunday and it was another great time at Smarty Pants. I had some tasty food, great conversation and even bumped into a buddy of mine. I've never had brunch here so I wasn't sure what to get. I love corned beef hash so when I saw it on the menu I decided to give it a try. The corned beef was delicious, though it was a bit heavy with garlic, which I had been warned about by my buddy's GF. The hash browns were nearly perfect, the eggs were cooked just as I had ordered them, the sourdough bread was warm and crisp and the meal even came with a side of fruit, some kind of melon, not sure what it was but it was tasty. Smarty Pants was a post-event after another exciting Yelp Elite event. After the Miracle Berries taste test, there was another tasty test yet to be ordered. I have been here few times before for their lunches and Sunday brunch. I cannot remember what I had ordered but I know their food is delicious. The place was crowded before we had entered. We had taken almost half of the place by the wall. I think the place got louder when we sat, as chatty as we are the place was overwhelmed with conversations. I think we were still discussing about our fascination of Miracle Berries. We had ordered the Philly Steak Sandwich. I think they should change the name to this sandwich to Smarty Pants Philly. It's nothing near a Philly sandwich, but it was delicious! The beef is sliced really thin and tender, with sauteed sweet onions, sauteed sweet green and red peppers. All over stuffed in a soft french roll. We had their potato salad. The potatoes were firm, tasted fresh and tasted just right. Also, came with dill pickle, oddly enough it was tasty and sweet (wait, I think the Miracle Berry was still in effect, this place is still an awesome place to eat). I had looked at other orders and I remembered that I had their Reuben sandwich before. When I ordered it before I had heard they made their briskets there. It is served on a swirled rye bread and MOUNDS of meat piled on with sauerkraut, thousand island sauce and cheese. The aroma of the Reuben made my taste buds salivated in excitement. I was too full. I must say that the gal who took our orders was prompt and I was amazed on how she had handle our large crowd and kept her cool. Well, it was indeed a Monte Cristo but it wasn't up to my standards. I hate to lead with that, but it's true. I will say that the waitress was one of my favorites of all time, in just a few short minutes of servingtime, she was just kick ass enough to make me wish I'd be turning into a regular of that place. Please read this full review as it has an important message. I work nearby and come here often for lunch. The food is good- great sandwiches and salads (love the Chopper Salad). The restaurant is very Georgetown themed and they also have a nice outdoor patio area. Now comes the reason I am giving them one star (would give 0 if that was a choice). The SERVICE was HORRIBLE that it ruined the entire meal and my Friday luncheon out. I came with a friend and we were seated out in the patio. Our server MELISSA was rude and intentionally ignoring us from the moment we were seated. I have never experienced such blatant rudeness, especially from a server at a restaurant who's core job is to serve their customers. By the end of the meal, we could not believe what happened, MELISSA's rude behavior and treatment, which consistently continued all the way through- let me explain. Offense #1: After being seated, I asked Melissa if we can place our order as I had limited time for lunch due to meetings. She replies that she will get to me after she goes around to everyone else who were already seated, walks off, and takes her time slowly with the other tables and making friendly conversation. Then she proceeds to walk around and refill water, making sure to not look in our direction and basically ignoring us. Finally when she comes back, she asks what we want and walks off- no friendly conversation or apologies for the wait. Offense #2: My friend wanted to ask Melissa if they can put the BBQ sauce for her sandwich on the side after we placed our order. Melissa was right next to our table and my friend only got to say "can I ask" before Melissa responded with "I am busy right now I will come back to you". She did not even let my friend finish her sentence and cut her off. Are you serious?!? Melissa never got back to her and never came by our table until the end of the meal to deliver the check. Melissa did walk around and checked on all the other tables around us throughout our lunch but she never once came by our table to ask how we are doing, if we needed anything, which we did. Another server brought our food out and she was great and did ask. Offense #3: Now Melissa is walking around with checks for a few tables and being seated in close proximity, we can hear her conversations. She laughs, smiles, and is friendly and polite in giving the other tables their checks, telling them thanks and wishing them a good rest of the afternoon. Now she gets to our table and she just drops off the check- that's it. No thanks for stopping by, have a nice day, nothing. Also, we gave her 2 credit cards so she can charge our orders separately. I tried to ask her and was cut off with her response of "well, I don't know your names" when I was proceeding to show her the 2 cards and what to charge to which. Usually the response to splitting a bill is "what do I charge to which card?" or "how would you like to split it?". We were not sure if she was just having a bad day and to let it go, but that was the final offense that made it clear she just had an issue with us. I am a young, professional, Asian-American women, and my friend is Indian-American (the other tables were not as "diverse"). Did we just experience discrimination?? I am not one to pull out the race card or see and think I am being treated differently because of who I am. Been through this joint several times before our many gigs in Georgetown, and the ambience for such an evening was always perfect: low lighting inside with loud music, great neighborhood beer on draft, and an enclosed patio area for agreeable weather days. The waitstaff have always been friendly and efficient in my experience. I have had several of their sandy's and have not been dissatisfied with any of them. The Miss Piggy has lots of delicious grilled onion amidst the tasty pulled pork, the Turkey Avacado is creamy and flavorful, and most recently I tasted the Monte Cristo, a brunch item that is often screwed up by over-sweetening or deep-frying, but is done properly at Smarty Pants. A soft, house-baked French bread cozily envelops the "dinner" sandies. We had a waitress so adorable today that we wanted to bottle her up and keep her in our pocket! We didn't though. The desire to get my first tattoo jumped 2 notches after having brunch here on the first gorgeous Sunday this year. The servers were affable with an edge.. maybe their parties from the night before dulled their edge.. in either case the service was good enough. We sat outdoors on the picnic tables along the wall and enjoyed the ambiance of cigarette smoke, colorful characters, Guns 'N Roses and freeway noise while munching on a combination of eggs benedict and Frito pie. The eggs on my eggs benedict were over-cooked, didn't get the runny goodness all over my plate but the hollandaise drowned any badness that may have been there. I was so looking forward to the Frito pie but something about the chili; is it generic chili that all restaurants get? I'm in trouble. I'm in trouble because ever since I had brunch here on Sunday all I can think about is the Troublemaker sandwich! Chicken! Onions! Bacon! and a spiced perfectly sauce that made my taste buds sing and my heart skip a beat (though, that may have been because of the bacon). I can see how this place can fill up fast. My husband and I first visited Smarty Pants in 2014. We enjoyed several Vortex beers and I convinced him that we should adopt greyhounds. We had a tasty dinner, enjoyed delicious beers and started our greyhound/fur baby family. We can't get to Smarty Pants as often as we would like. When we do, Joshua is our favorite waiter who defines the term 'hustle'. We come for brunch and/or dinner. We enjoy beer and/or mixed drinks. We are vegetarian and have worked our way through Smarty Pant's menu while never being disappointed in anything we have ordered. Georgetown is an amazing Seattle neighborhood. Wait, what? There are multiple veggie sandwiches on the menu? Wait, WHAT? You can sub field roast in for any meat on any sandwich? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? I want the deluxe grilled cheese! Wait! I want the thing that has pesto on it! Wait, do I want the turkey avocado sandwich with field roast instead of turkey? Shit, there's a breakfast menu? ...Half an hour later, I went with my original choice of the deluxe grilled cheese. It had avocado spread, tomatoes and red onions and was probably the best grilled cheese I have ever had. I think indecent noises were coming out of me as I was eating it, but I can't remember because it was like a drug. I've got to get the hell back here immediately and maybe just stay put for a few days so I can eat one of everything from their menu. This is the kind of place that I could spend all afternoon at. And we practically did. The outdoor patio with picnic tables, interesting art pieces, and metal rock from the speakers created the perfect setting for a lazy day in the semi-Seattle sun. The food was mighty tasty too. I chowed down on the Troublemaker sandwich, which featured chicken, grilled onions, other goodies, and a spicy sauce. I also tried a bite of the Lil Brat - a nod to the Reuben. It was quite tasty as well. My only regret is that I ordered the chips and salsa as my side instead of the potato salad. The salsa wasn't memorable, and it came in a hard-to-scoop-out-of paper cup. I gave up after one chip and went back to focusing on my Troublemaker. I'd love to come back to enjoy another afternoon of good friends, great drinks, and amazing food. Fun, tasty, and did I mention tasty? I love me some G-town places pretty hard, so my hopes are always high when I go to a new establishment there. Smarty Pants didn't disappoint. First, the food: I had their Club Pants sandwich with potato salad. It was SO tasty! The portion is generous, especially for the price, and the avocado spread they slather on it is divine. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the turkey they put on the sandwich was super good. I was pretty sad that I could only finish half of it. The potato salad was also great. Again, after spending time in the South, I am picky about some side items like mac and cheese, potato salad, and slaw. I was really impressed with the potato salad; I won't say that I licked the container it came in when I finished it, but I also won't say that I didn't lick the container it came in when I finished it. Service: Awesome! Other than staffing the place with people that are just fun peeps, they were super fast and attentive. My glass stayed full, and my food and bill came to me quickly. I have been going to Smarty Pants for years. Its a nifty bar that has an awesome outside area and I can't fail to mention the huge loaded delicious sandwiches they serve. A while back they began to serve brunch and I hadn't been in since which is inexcusable since I am a brunch fiend. Saturday night I tell my friend we need to go to brunch. Sunday morning comes and we can't figure out where to go. Stay in Beacon Hill? What about Capitol Hill? Oh! Let's go to Georgetown! We get to Smarty Pants and its moderately occupied which wasn't a surprise since brunch spots in Seattle are notoriously packed on Sunday mornings. We find a seat and our waitress saunters up. I'm sure she is a great lady and all but she looked as if she had a long nights or a couple of continuous long nights. We are handed our menus and I was a bit concerned if there was something I could eat being the non-meater I am. I spy "Morning Star Sausage" and smile with glee. I order an egg scramble. You get your eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. You also get to choose three ingredients from an extensive list. You can choose between vegetables, meats, beans, and toppings. I go with mushrooms, bellpeppers, and Morning Star Sausage. My companion gets an omelet. There is a bit of a wait for our food but was expected considering the amount of bodies in the place. Our food comes and I dig into the scramble and it was fantastic. The hashbrowns weren't bad. They were flat which was interesting because I have never seen such a thing. I'm used to robust thick hashbrowns but they still tasted fine. The great disappointed was the toast. It was flimsy and not crunchy at all. As a fan of the toast I was and still am shaking my head in disbelief. My friend said his omelet was alright. All in all, I enjoyed the brunch at Smarty Pants. Came here after a yelp event with a bunch of people and was ready to eat...because I was extremely hungry even before the yelp event. I ordered the Ms. Piggy, which was a pork sandwich with cole slaw in the sandwich and for a side I asked for cole slaw. Apparently, I like cole slaw, I guess. It was a fine sandwich with nicely toasted bread and delicious meat, but it was a lot of sandwich and I couldnt eat it all. The slaw tasted fine in the sandwich, but as a side, not so much. There was something missing and I couldnt really put my finger on it. It's really hard to do a bad review when you like a place already, but we had a bad experience. We walked in for a late lunch. There were only two tables that had customers, and one of the tables cleared out less than 5 minutes of our arrival. We took a table, while the two employees chit chatted and wiped down trays..... completely ignoring us. They did manage to wave goodbye to the departing table and proceed to clean said table. We had to go ask for service before we were even acknowledged. Now, this place normally has really decent service, but today finds me wondering if I have a cape of invisibility on. We did get soda's and mine had lipstick on it.... though, I didn't say anything, because at this point I wondered if I did, what would they do to my food. Hey, it's a fear of mine if the restaurant staff (in any establishment) gets pissed that you've complained. The music was ridiculously loud... and it sounded like a dance club. Conversation wasn't easy to have, at all. And the music wasn't even decent... its like punk. Not conducive to a relaxing meal. Do you like giant, delicious, hot sandwiches? Who doesn't so stop on by Smarty Pants and load up! You won't go wrong with any of the choices on their menu. I usually end up going with the Chickenhawk or Pit Boss. They have Field Roast too and I believe you can sub it onto any variety. For sides you can't go wrong with either the potato salad or coleslaw, just depends on your mood. The potato salad is the summer mayo classic variety and the slaw has more of a vinaigrette base. I usually get the slaw and add it to my sandwich just 'cause. For Happy Hour, get the sandwich sampler. It comes with 3 generous portions of your choice of several popular sandwiches. It's a good way to try several varieties for cheap! Beer wise there's a good variety of rotating taps along with a big selection of bottles and cans. Full bar too if your in the mood to booze it up! Make sure you stop by on a sunny night when the outdoor patio is open. It's a great space with trees, lots of tables and an awesome fire pit to sit around. I had a good experience, until the bill came. I had ordered an extra sandwich for take out. Big mistake. The cost listed on my bill for a TAKE OUT BOX is $0.50. I know it's cheap, but it's the principal of it all. A grocery store charges $0.05 for a bag, and it's half a buck for a box that cost about a dime? Can way say "profit"? Sorry, but costs like this needs to be assumed by the restaurant, NOT passed on to restaurant patrons. There was no sign they would charge for a take out box (if there was, I didn't see it). So I am expected to eat ALL of it in the restaurant or not take home extras or to-go? No wonder why "Americans are fat" Eat two-three servings per meal. I wouldn't blink an eye if they upped the price of everything by a nickel to cover for the a cost of a take out box from a restaurant. My first and LAST time I'm eating here! read more

Just your typical ass-kicking Georgetown gem. Yes, I was starving when we went, but the menu had about 5 items that I wanted to try. All the egg scrambles, several of the sandwiches and the veggie Frito pie. Oh, Frito Pie....droooooool. I ended up choosing the Veggie Sub with Field Roast and it was great and had a bit of chips and homemade salsa on the side. SO ordered a salad, which was ridiculously large. Dropped by Smarty Pants on Friday for lunch. March Madness was on the second day of games. The main tv was showing reruns of old motorcycle races and the smaller one over the bar had the games on. Nobody watching the races and everyone trying to see what the scores are. Our waitress was getting frustrated that she could not get between the tables, but nobody working wanted to change the main tv to the games, so everyone just did what they had to in order to see the games. Very weird that motorcycle racing reruns was some sort of strange priority for the staff. That being said....the sandwiches were awesome. Solid Chicago Italian beef sandwich. Large portions, decent prices for Seattle. We did not leave hungry. I would go back without a doubt, but if I couldn't get a bar seat to see whatever good game is on, I would probably get my food to go. read more

A staple drinks and/or lunch destination on all scooter rallies. Get the "Troublemaker" sandwich. After I finish one, I always want another immediately. The staff is always too hip for me, but never does it affect the service. The clientèle is usually a diverse mix of pilots from the nearby Boeing Field, hip Georgetown artist-types, and scooter/motorcycle gearheads. Come here. read more

*****UPDATE: I have deducted 2 stars and they ain't getting 'em back until their service improves. The past 2 times I've gone to SP I've noticed that they have a few new faces (where's Hester, dammit?). Last weekend we were there for over an hour before we got our food and we were served after numerous tables that had arrived well after us. The mimosas were totally weak and parts of my order have been forgotten on a pretty consistent basis. This makes me really sad, because I do have a deep, deep love for Smarty and I've missed maybe 2 Saturdays in the past 12 weeks (at least), it just seems different now that they changed staff.******** ********NEW UPDATE - 9/2/07: They have completely redeemed themselves. I took a good friend of mine there this morning for a breakfast, but due to one of the cooks not showing up the OWNER had to cook for us. He had convinced all the other patrons to order from the lunch menu (apparently he's much better at cooking the non-breakfast stuff), but since I had my poor little heart set on a scramble, he made it happen! The service wasn't necessarily smooth, but they were all so helpful and friendly (and hot, dammit), and I kept in mind that they were short-staffed. The love affair has resumed!****** I am in love. The food, the service, the decor - EVERYTHING. One of my best girlfriends owns Helle (a skin sanctuary right down the street) so we meet up every Saturday morning (yes, EVERY Saturday morning unless one of us is out of town) for brunch at Smarty Pants. We walk in the door, they confirm that would would like our usual mimosas (BTW, I think they usually just wave the OJ over the top of the champagne and call it good) and bring them over with a quickness. Apparently one of the chicks that work there has raided the music collection of my friends and I and has decided to play only songs that we like while we are there - creepy but incredibly enjoyable. Whether I'm dolled up or rollin' in wearing a hoody and baseball hat, the customer base ranges from preppy to hippie - I never feel out of place. I've eaten brunch here, which has been perfectly delicious 99.9% of the time; I ate from the lunch menu recently and have personally confirmed the fact that everything at SP is AWESOME. read more

At some point in time, I thought I liked Georgetown, and it seemed people were moving there, always hanging out there, and raving about every little thing. Oooh, my, how a few years changes things? When one planned shenanigan proved disappointing and bizzare, Aaron and I came here to kill some time and have a few drinks before Will/Hillary/etc band(s) shows @ Mix. It's just...so boring and nothing special, like all of Georgetown seems to be. As you type your hate-mail to me, please remember there is no possibility this area will *ever* be my neighborhood or weekly hang-out. I will never live close enough, so my view is of it as a *destination*, and on that scale, there are abandoned rest stops on I-90 with more pizazz. The drinks were weak and the HH price isn't at all worth it on wells. The nachos we shared weren't that great, it took *forever* to get them, and though she warned us of a hot plate because they were in an oven, they had the appearance/taste of microwave. Whether economy, staff changing, not giving a shit, or what...Smarty Pants isn't what it once was, what I remembered or what it had potential to be. It's likely I won't visit again for some time, and even then, it would be for a specific reason to justify the distance and likely mediocrity. read more

We went there for brunch, sat down at 12:04. Was greeted right away (plus), I can give you a timeline because I was on a time crunch and literally looked at my watch every 5 minutes 12:04 sat down 12:06 ordered a drink - Waiter walked away with drink order and gave us time to look over the menu. 12:21 came back with my drink and took our orders - Drink was watered down, obviously it was sitting at the bar for awhile 40 (1:01) minutes passed and waiter did come back to check on us at all. I had to leave before my food even arrive, mind you, I ordered the Fast Breakfast (I think that's what it's called). It consists of 3 sunny-side up eggs, hash brown and toast (it doesn't take over 40 minutes to make). My friends were still there at this time and finally at 1:15 ish, our food finally arrived and the my bread had MOLD on it. Enough said. 1st and last time there. Never again. read more

Catching up on motoGP races! Came here on Sunday for my first time. Only to find out that they closed at 4 pm,and it was 3:55 pm. The guy that greeted me said I was more than welcome to sit down and enjoy a beer, no rush. I sat down ordered a beer and asked if i could get something to eat? they ask the main guy in the kitchen and he said sure no problem. What would you like? I got a Chicago style sandwich with chips and salsa. The food was good,service was great and I really liked the decor on the place. Garage themed like. Motorcycle pictures on the walls and the best of all two huge tv;s playing the MotoGp races! Go Rossi!! even though he didn't do good. I'm definitely coming back on a Saturday night to drink some beer and meet new people. read more

Ok, I have now popped my Georgetown cherry. Thanks to Heather (of Ballard royalty) I went there for brunch to meet up with her, Tiffany, Terrell, and Danielle, all yelpers out for a cause. It's a cool place, with an easy laid back vibe. Mimosas-- strong strong. Service very attentive... Food Delish. Minus 1 star for no desserts. Other then that, we sat there for nearly two hours without getting the stink-eye from our server. I had the steak Lil' Philly sammie with carmelized onions and a green salad with bleu cheese, which was a basic but fresh green salad. I could only finish half my sandwich. Going back to the part where I mentioned minus 1 star for no dessert and the fact that I just mentioned I could only eat half of my sammy, there's always room for dessert. Always. Ian had the B.E.L.T., that's a BLT with sliced hard-boiled eggs on top. It must've rocked because I can only recall seeing Ian's sandwich once and that was when our server brought the food. Roth had the Pit Boss, which he shared a bit of with me and I have to say that ham and bacon together on a sandwich is a very well executed and genius idea. Jen had the Deluxe Grilled Cheese and if I can get that with bacon I'm having that next time! Our server was also the bartender so getting our PBR pitcher filled was not a problem. In fact, the whole experience here was problem-free and I look forward to trying more of their sammies, their brunch, and when they get desserts (and they will, oh yes they will) I'll be all over that! read more
