Saturday day before Mothers Day saw events that was going on in Omaha "Visit Omaha". My Daughter and I thought it would be a great day to spend at Smash Park knowing they were going to have Free Bingo & Brunch from 9-2. No Registration required. First timers there too! So we went there around 10 saw a long line in front. Not knowing what the line was for. We asked 2 different people what that line was for and they had no idea too! We also saw people just walking into the building bypassing the line. I took it upon myself to walk into the main building, looking to find someone who could help us in what to do cause the lady at the front desk was super busy. As I went inside, I saw a table but at the same time looking someone for guidance. Next thing and I saw, was a lady talking to my daughter, not knowing the demeanor that she had towards my daughter til afterwards. The Blonde lady got into my daughter's face and rudely told her that she had to wait in the line up front. My daughter then told her that she needed to back off cause we were new here in a rudely manner towards her back. Lady backed down and explained. There were no sign that said "Wait Here". Then was watching and noticed people already had Reservations for the place. No where in Visit Omaha said Reservations. Just Said No Registration. Then come to find out it was going to be 1 to 1 1/2 hr wait! We left We were pretty stoked into playing Bingo and having fun there. But that Blonde Lady up front needs to better know how to better customer service towards any customers or maybe that job isn't fitting for her being up front. read more

Stopped by the other day with my bf and his daughter for Jimmy Buffet music night. We started at the bar for some bites and drinks. They have a respectable beer selection and a good number of cocktails to choose from. We got the Poutine, churro fries, and the quinoa power bowl. All were great, the poutine and churro fries especially. The quinoa power bowl's chicken was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh, but I'm not the biggest fan of quinoa and that was the base of the dish. We loved the free cornhole and played multiple games, and spent some time just listening to the live music. We booked the outdoor pickleball court during a bit of rain but still had a blast. The indoor courts are a bit more expensive I believe. Then we spent our 'welcome' points in the arcade and had a lot of fun with the games. The employees were friendly and helpful, BUT with the place being so new, I think they should ask more questions about if you've been there, and over explain where to go and what to do. The place is huge and can be a bit overwhelming so a little guidance would be helpful. We went out to the pickleball court without our paddles and ball because the front desk just said 'it's outside and to the far left. Have fun!' so I assumed the gear was outside. The food is really not good, but that's not why it's a 1 star review. We joined a beginners pickleball league, our first time ever. The man running it, Chris Bryson, has a pompous and smug attitude. Throughout the league we had several players congratulating us and tell us how they could see us improving week by week. The last week of the league is a tournament, where you can win medals and money. He intensely goes over the rules, one of which is that the lowest ranked seed will play the highest ranked, as most tournaments are. We won round 1, and he enters the scores wrong. I correct him saying we won, and he fixes it but couldn't change the second round?! We were 8th and had to play the 1st seed, whom is undefeated, when it should have been the 11 seed. When confronted that he was wrong, he said there was nothing that he could do. Not willing to make it right and have the proper teams play. We had to play the #1 seed and we lost. As he was unwilling to change the bracket and make it right. The entire time he's just being smug about it and rude. I pointed out that there is a difference between an undefeated #1 seed and the 2nd ranked team. Who's lost to multiple teams. He said "there isn't a difference. Not in this league". And that it really doesn't matter as it's "just a beginners league." It's very unfortunate as Chris was never friendly to begin with, but when there's money on the line and our first experience, it just completely ruined everything about smash park for us. If you are a beginner I highly suggest looking elsewhere or drop out immediately if Chris Bryson is in charge of it. read more

So it is a vary nice looking place beautiful patio and lots to do the reservation system limits a lot but not to bad the arcade is kind of a joke and vary broken for how new they are the drinks were awesome but the service was super lackluster and slow now the worst part the food is underwhelming for its price point and will not satisfy you the chicken slider sandwich looked like tuna and tasted awful and the cheese sauce is completely bland so overall it's a neat concept but I could go to Dave and busters for a better experience. read more

Large portions and everyone enjoyed their meals. Drink menu is huge, lots is beer on tap. Plenty of TVs and things to do for the entire crew. This rating is for the restaurant only. We had reservations for immediately after we finished our axe throwing. The hostess found us a booth for the four of us but it needed to be cleaned-after waiting about 5 minutes for this to happen, we were seated. The bus person did not wipe the seat cushions down though which had several crumbs on them. Our server greeted us and took our drink order soon after we were seated. I had the Mac and cheese with pork. This was just okay, not super cheesy and the pork was dry. This was lukewarm at best and I was hoping for a more substantial serving since this is listed as an entree. My husband ordered the ultimate smokehouse burger with fries. The beef and bun had good flavor. The fries were seasoned well. The couple we were with ordered the wings (which were good but also not hot) and the taco salad-this was good. A group of friends and I had made reservations to axe throw on Friday night. Some kind of error was made, and our three lanes were cancelled unbeknownst to us until we tried to check in after already eating, drinking and watching Husker volleyball there for the 3 hours prior to our reservation time. The girl (I didn't get her name, but she was very sweet and wanted to help)working at the axe throwing, immediately got the manager, John. John introduced himself to me and shook my hand and immediately started trying to figure out what had happened. John is a very professional manager and went above and beyond to make it right. I had the Fresh Garden Chicken sandwich which had a thin piece of chicken- pounded and grilled, with tomato and avocado, spring mix and lemon vinaigrette and finally an edamame hummus layer, all on a fresh brioche bun. Bad service all around. Took 20 minutes to be asked for drinks, also didn't provide any food menus til another 20 minutes later. Had to go up to the drink window to pick up the drinks and when we did they were watered down from sitting so long. When the food came, the food runners were insanely rude just handing everything to the person on the end to "pass jt down and just figure it out". We also never got asked if everything came out correctly or how anything was tasting etc. Food wasn't too bad and our group was excited to try this for the first time but considering the service I don't believe we'll be back. read more

I wasn't a big fan of each bartender asking for my ID despite working at the same bar or within close proximity of each other. The duckpin bowling lane broke 30 minutes into our 1 hour slot so we ended up just leaving when nobody could fix it. Decided to check this place out with family that was in town visiting. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday evening at 630. Looks like a fun place to play games. Food was meh, pricey for what you get. Pickleballs sound good, but are not. $10.99 for 4 cream cheese w/chopped pickles & bacon bits hushpuppies basically. Bang bang shrimp was good. I ordered the cobbish salad and the pulled chicken that came on top was disgusting! There were pieces of skin mixed in w/the chicken and it was rubbery. Then the biggest piece of chicken on the salad was connected to a huge piece of gnarly cartilage. Needless to say I couldn't eat after that & had just started. Our server asked if I wanted a to go box & I showed them the "meat parts" & they said - ewww that's gross. Brought us the check with no discounts . $16 for a barely touched yuck salad. Then gave us their card & said if you give us a 5 star review & mention my name I could win $50. Everyone in the party said their food was just ok. Might be a good venue for game playing & drinks. Fun family sports oriented atmosphere. The menu is extensive and the food is good and better than average bar food. Plenty of libation options as well. Service was good even though it was very busy. Not a good date night spot if you want quiet convo, but if you're in for some fun, sports, libations and good food....at least try Smash Park out. First off, don't get your expectations up that this is a place to smash things, it's not. Unless, you're smashing them cream cheese pickleballs in your mouth, am I right? We had a party of 7 to celebrate my birthday, and had a 7PM reservation for duck pin bowling, we should have arrived earlier as our dinner took longer than expected and we had to delay our bowling. Mainly because it took quite awhile for our server to take our order. Everyone said their food was really good, some of the items we ordered: garlic fries, pickleballs, bbq platter, açaí bowl, bao birds, bang bang shrimp, mac & cheese and creamy Mexican street corn. Not a dud in the bunch. Place is big and spacious. Duck pin bowling was pretty fun but the planners screwed up on the sitting area, you have to constantly move around to let people out to bowl or just have everyone stand, fun though. Everything started pretty good, our server Riley was super sweet and attentive! Then when my brother wanted a refill of his strawberry lemonade, our server was busy with other customers, so I figured it would be ok to go up to the bar and just ask if I could get a refill. When I got to the bar, the bartender was straight up rude. She gave attitude and asked me where I was even sitting, and when I motioned to where I was, she then proceed to scold me and told me that I should've gone to the server instead and needed to wait for Riley. Now, I understand that I could've just waited for Riley to be available right away, and I would understand if the bartender was super busy or just can't mess with how the system is set up. But the way that she spoke to me, and basically made me feel like I was doing something so wrong, is just insane. A simple, "oh i'll let riley know" or simply explain why she couldn't add on to the order wouldve been fine, but instead she decided to have an attitude and be disrespectful when I asked for a simple refill.
