About a week into its soft opening, this place has already made a strong impression on the neighborhood and it's a positive one. If you're in the mood for a smash burger, some fried comfort food, or even Nashville hot chicken, this is definitely worth a visit. I haven't tried the fried chicken yet, but I haven't heard anything negative about it. If you're the type of person who wants to specify the temperature of your burger, this probably isn't the spot for you. It's a smash burger joint, and they do that style well. Expect a crispy, flavorful meat skirt that extends beyond the bun and delivers plenty of texture and flavor in every bite. Welcome to the neighborhood, and best of luck to the team, I wish you continued success.

I probably could have shared the burger but I ate the whole thing with some jalapeño cheese fries and mozzarella sticks on the side. Did not disappoint! Great value and the ingredients are always fresh. Service is always quick and easy. The owner is sometimes there and he's always friendly. By the time I remembered to take a picture, the damage had already been done. I've been to Golden K Burgers a few times now, and it has quietly become one of my favorite burger spots. It's a Korean-American burger joint with a cozy diner feel inside. Nothing overly flashy, just great vibes, a comfortable atmosphere, and a staff that always greets you with a warm smile that makes you feel welcome. Over the times I've been here, I've tried the Farmhouse Burger, Big Kahuna Burger, BBQ Chip Burger, and the A1 Burger. Honestly, they've all been excellent. But somehow... I keep coming back to the A1 Burger. Now I know what some of you are thinking. "A1 sauce? Really? There are so many better burger sauces than A1!" I actually agree! A1 has never been my first choice for burgers. But my goodness... whatever magic they're working here just works! The two juicy beef patties, perfectly marinated mushrooms and onions, melted Swiss cheese, tangy A1 sauce, and soft buttery brioche bun come together like a perfectly conducted symphony. Every ingredient has its role, and none of them overpower the others. The mushrooms bring an earthy richness, the onions add sweetness, the Swiss cheese gives it that creamy nuttiness, and then the A1 sauce swoops in with just enough boldness to wake up your palate without stealing the show. Funny enough, every topping on this burger (except the A1 sauce) is exactly what I'd normally choose for any burgers anyway, yet the A1 somehow becomes the finishing touch that ties everything together! Another thing I really appreciated was how well the burger was constructed. It held together beautifully from the first bite to the last without collapsing into a soggy mess. That's an underrated quality that deserves recognition. The fries were also fantastic because they weren't buried under a mountain of salt like so many places do. I actually found myself wondering if they'd fry them a second time upon request because I love my fries extra crispy. I guess I'll have to ask next time! I've also had their 12-piece Buffalo Wings before. I wouldn't say they're the best wings I've ever had, but they're definitely very good. They came out crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, marinated evenly with buffalo sauce (dry) that had just the right balance of buttery richness, tanginess, and heat. They were satisfying without being overly greasy. From the outside, Golden K Burgers probably doesn't scream, "This is one of NYC's best burger joints!" But trust me when I say this: you'll find yourself craving it again very soon. And to me, that's the highest compliment I can give any restaurant. There are plenty of places that impress you once. The truly great ones are the ones that make you want to come back! Give Golden K Burgers a try! Highly recommended!

The Cajun one had a nice blend of seasoning and I really liked it. They use high quality & fresh ingredients and the best part- they're all Halal! I love it! The service was great and the gentlemen behind the register was very helpful and patient with us. The buns were so soft & they dous the burger in their sauces so you don't even need to ask for extra. Inside the ambiance is contemporary and it's an open space with plenty of tables and seats to dine-in which is lovely + it's super clean from the floor to the tables to the register & kitchen area which is an absolute must. So, what're you waiting for? Come & try their awesome burgers, you'll be glad you did

The space inside is pretty simple and minimalistic -- clean, modern, nothing overly fancy. It feels like the kind of place you pop into when you're craving a good burger without making a whole production out of dinner. They focus on smash burgers, so you get those crispy edges with a juicy center, which is always a win. Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. Nothing overcomplicated -- just a well-made burger, good flavor, and fresh ingredients. The kind of meal that feels satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it's a great casual stop in Bayside if you're near the train or just looking for a quick halal burger. Perfect for a laid-back weekday meal.

THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE…read more Came here last night with my wife because I saw all the great reviews and figured, how bad could it be? Turns out, very, very, VERY bad. We ordered two cocktails. 45 MINUTES LATER, we were still waiting. I asked our waitress twice where they were. Both times, dismissive and annoyed: "They're coming." At that point I assumed they were being delivered by horseback. The drinks finally came, watered down and mediocre. We eventually ordered a second round, and somehow three different people became involved in getting us drinks. One of them came over to ask for my wife's name for the order (?). I genuinely started wondering if we were applying for a mortgage. How many people does it take to make a cocktail here? Literally let me behind the bar and I'll mix the martini myself. It takes under 60 seconds at any bar in Manhattan, but somehow in Flushing, every drink order takes 45 minutes.

The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

Tenders were different shapes and sizes, some pieces were just batter. Asked for spicy and soy garlic sauces on the side so we basically just had regular fried chicken; I preferred the "spicy" sauce from a squeeze bottle more (like a spicy mayo). Iced Umma coffee was creamy, sweet and I was ok with it. The only employee in the front was very helpful and patient. We did ask for a few things on the side and were accommodated.
