I am writing this from a FIVE GUYS, let me tell you why. Absolutely horrible experience at Smashburger, for the second time mind you, and because of this I don't think there won't be a third. I wanna tell the Smashburger people, I drove out of my way to get to your place of business and I will not do it again. Two separate occasions I was told there would be a 40+ minute wait because of online orders. This practice tells me phone orders are a priority over customers standing IN YOUR FREAKING STORE. 5 of us immediately left. That's not acceptable. Smashburger is apparently fine with money going to competitors because that's what I did with my $80+ order. I drove to FIVE GUYS 5 miles away and I am currently enjoying it. My daughter talked into going to this place for dinner. I usually let her y'all me into going to places when we both can't figure out what we want to eat. Normally when she picks the place. I like it. This time was NOT one of those times. The seasoning of the meat was good, but I didn't like the freshness or lack therE of in the overall burger. I also was not a fan of the pretzel bun. Great place and the meat is fresh and never frozen. We had the grilled chicken with brussel sprouts and the double bacon cheeseburger with the rosemary fries. They were fresh and tasty. It will be a Long time before I think about this place. Went there for lunch which I normally get good service. My friend ordered burger and I mistaking ordered the crispy chicken. The burger came out However No chicken . I went up and ask where my chicken was and she said it was in the fryer. When my friend finished their meal, I went back up and she said something to the kitchen and they put chicken up, however No fries, so she took a fry that was sitting on the counter and dumbed then on my basket. I've gotten burgers, fries and wings from here a few times now. I do like the flavor of the burgers better than most other places but tonight we ordered BBQ double cheeseburgers that were the driest burgers I've ever had. They had forgotten to use any bbq sauce. I noticed that there was more grease on it than normally too. They're shakes are pretty good as are they're wings and fries. I'll eat here again but I now know it's hit or miss....‍.The service people here have always been great. Friendly and helpful. Their dining room has always been clean and comfortable. I never ate at a smash burger until about two years ago. This place is pretty awesome. The food is delicious and it's usually prepared pretty quickly. If you order online you can actually rely on the estimated wait to be accurate, and not long even when they're busy. My only gripe is a couple of times my customizations haven't been honored. Always irks me to pay for something I don't get. That said, they are good about making it up to you. Still, I sing one star for accuracy. It's not awful, but you should probably check your order before you get too far. Overall I recommend this place. Delicious food, friendly staff, clean establishment. read more

This place is ridiculous. Not only did we have to wait over 30 minutes for our food so all the door dash orders that came after ours could be done first, they messed up half our order. Didn't read the ticket at all. Got tots when we ordered fries and completely messed up one of the sandwich. And the lady putting the orders together was just standing there looking at everything in the window and barely moving. Never going here again. Absolutely aweful. read more

After last weeks great Yelp event here I decided to make a regular hours late lunch stop. Placed my order for the Classic Big Smash, the off-menu side Fried Pepper Rings and a drinkable, I was then given my self-serve cup and a number placard and found a seat at one of the large comfy booths. After a short wait my order was delivered to my table. First off, I like how they deliver your burger here, top off, letting you pick off items or add condiments. You don't have to commit surgery here to adjust things to your own personal taste. Second, plenty of napkins at the table, I judge a great burger by the pile of napkins I go through. You want a tidy little sandwich? Then go to one of the corner cardboard box places that splort burgers out of machine in back. This place is all about the 100% Certified Angus burgers, lovingly smashed on the grill. Fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and Smash sauce on a nice egg bun made this a juicy tasty classic burger. The lightly battered mild yellow pepper rings were the perfect side and will keep me coming back. The sum up; Tasty fresh burgers and fried original sides, comfy seating, friendly service and cold beers too. They say California has In 'N Out and the East Coast has Five Guys. Well, look out boys, there is a new player in town and they can give anyone a run for its money. I had to get more of that Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger! The 7oz patty covered with mushroom and Swiss took me to a special place. The burger was slightly more filling than I previously experienced. The bun had more flavoring - as if too much butter was on it but I ignored it! Instead, I let the juices flow from the burger on to my tongue. This 1 burger alone can compete with any restaurant's finest burger. Sides - I love the regular and sweet potato fries here but glad I opted for regular as the burger took me by surprise. If there is 1 down side, it sure is a long walk back to the other side for a soda refill. With good food, you know you'll need it. On the hand, if you are a beer drinker, they got that too! I went to Smashburger because they had gluten free buns. I ordered online, but had to wait an additional 5-10 mins for my order even though we were the only ones in store. When I got home I found that I had a box of lettuce with my burger and no bun or sauces. I paid $2 extra for a GF bun, and instead I got no bun and no sauce. If they were out of buns, I should have been told before I left the store and been reimbursed for the bun. read more

This is your typical burger place. They have the usual burgers you find on a menu like the traditional, mushroom, and BBQ. They also have a jalapeño sandwich that looks good but I haven't had yet. All burgers come with choices of different types of patties and you can also make your own. The thibg that made me give this a 4 star was the fries. She ordered the double triple burger, but it was much smaller than mine. Didn't realize they had different sized patties, but was still good & she loved the side of haystack onions. I've met up with a friend for lunch here a couple of times (usually when they send out coupons). It's the typical fast casual place - order at the counter and the food comes out to you. I like that they offer three kinds of Honest Tea as fountain drinks. I've tried both the sweet potato and the smashfries, and am really just not a fan of the shoestring style. The burger is decent, though as others have mentioned, quite drippy. I really need to remember to order the kid's smashburger instead of the regular size, which is far too much food when eaten with a side of fries. I stopped in here yesterday on my way home from an appointment with the chiropractor. I had never been to a Smashburger and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted quickly, offered help if I needed anything. The prices weren't bad, they weren't fast food cheap either, but this isn't a drive-thru. My meal was about $11 for a Smashburger (sub black bean patty), Smashtots, and a fountain drink. The burger itself was very good, the black bean patty was different than any black bean patty I'd seen at a restaurant (a lot darker than most) and it tasted very good. Of course, I'm more prone to eat out at places like The Loving Hut, Lalibela's, or Banana Leaf as they cater to vegetarians and vegans. However, this is a burger joint and I'm clearly not the target demographic. That being said, I'd take this burger over Burger King's veggie patty any day. The prize goes to the Smashtots, though. WOW. Those things were amazing, I wish I would have just ordered two Smashtots. They had olive oil and garlic and were the best tater tots I've ever had. The staff was friendly and polite. I noticed that some reviews have complained about the cleanliness of the restaurant. When I went, the tables were all clean. It just might not have been busy yet, I'm not sure but I did see a couple employees check in the dining area to see if there was anything they needed to pick up. Last night my friends ordered from Smashburger with a delivery from Uber Eats advertising free delivery. When we received our food the brussel sprouts were in an open cup with no lid, the bag that I was told was sealed was unsealed, and when I called in regarding the open cup for the brussel sprouts I was told that is how they pack them? They took my email address to offer some sort of refund, still waiting.....I called to speak to the manager, I was told sorry for the open bag, the delivery person most likely got into the bag of food and I needed to call Uber Eats to complain???? The bill was over $30.00, a refund for the contaminated food would have been the proper thing to do and for Smashburger to reach out to Uber Eats, not us. Bad business read more

I will begin by saying: I really, really, don't understand the single dollar sign on this one; whoever makes those decisions needs to rethink that. With that out of the way, let's get on with the review. The burger and fries were rather tasty, and the choices are amazing (I had a chipotle pepper bun and goat cheese on my burger, both of which were fabulous). However, the price is a little ridiculous for a counter-service restaurant. My son and I went and I spent $26 and change on two average-sized burgers, two tiny orders of fries, a soft drink and a milkshake (which I will admit rivals Sonic in its yummyness). The customer service was average, and the speed of service was the same. Basically, the food is quite good, but I'd rather go to Red Robin or Five Guys; I feel like I get much more of a bang for my buck at either of those places. I went here today with a friend and got burgers to go and his burger was not cooked! He cut it in half to eat it and it was completely pink and raw in the middle. It would've made him sick if he ate it. He went back in to Smashburger and told them what happened and asked for his money back. They told him they didn't do that at their store. I'm not a huge burger eater, but when I do... Smashburger does the trick! They have a truckload of flavors and choices--from different buns, to chicken options, to veggie options, to side options. Get it? They have options. The people are super friendly, the place is spotless, and the food is consistently good. Graffiti Burger used to be my go-to, but, well, they pretty much suck now. So Smashburger to the rescue! My only itsy bitsy gripe is that everything is really, really greasy. The burgers are drippy, and even the "fresh" veggies get a dunk in the deep fryer. I've only eaten here once a few weeks ago but I thought the burger, of which I ordered the Smashburger basic (as it comes) was very, very good. I especially liked the bun which is made with egg I guess, although my fiance was not a fan. The place, being new, is super clean and sparkly of course and the staff, also probably new, are super friendly and nice. I didn't get a chance to try their Haagen Daaz milkshake but saw someone with one and it looked incredibly appealing. Will try that next time I'm there. I was in the mood for a burger today and it had to be better than Wendy's, McDonalds, etc. So I got to browsing through the listings and Smashburgers appeared. So I drove up there and ordered the regular (one patty) smashburger. Everything else on the menu seemed to be so expensive. Fries were $2, a shake was almost $5, an extra patty was another couple of dollars, etc. The single patty had cheese, onion, pickle and some other stuff on it and it tasted okay. But juicy it WASN"T! If I hadn't put ketchup on it, it would have been dry as a bone. And it was $5, as it was. But it was decent, not great, and it will be a while before I go back to get another one. read more

I called after I placed 2 orders and they cancelled them , guy that answered the phone was not cm service oriented, I was told my card failed which is baloney, I have never had my card fail and have thousands I can spend, Ridiculous!! The man said they close at 8 and online it states at 9. He also said if you order something they are out of you will not get your order, I told him they should state what they are out of. He states if he took off the menu what they are out of that his whole system would crash. Terrible experience and terrible customer service, I will never order from there again- this was the first and I would not recommend them to anyone.I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Went to Smashburger last night for the first time. I ordered the classic smash (reg) with the veggie frites on the side and an Oreo shake. Everything was really good. The burger was very tasty, nice and juicy with a great flavor and the veggies were awesome. The Oreo shake was incredibly yummy, although for the size I think it should be at least a dollar less. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. My only warning is to stay away from the fried pickles. My other half got some and they were EXTREMELY salty. The only thing we could taste with those were the salt and nothing else. read more

Sunday at 130pm. Busy! We were next in line, but lots of seated tables had table/order displays(waiting for their meal to be brought out). Several carryouts were going out as well. Tables were cleared and cleaned. Floors were decent. Not too many fries on the floor. Bathrooms need attention that should have been done before opening. Table condiments were full. Ok the food is here. I have regrets that I did not have the menu ordering skills. Smash chicken is right! Probably 1/4" thick. I found any seasoning that was on it, underachieved. Hot sauce helped that. I'm used to bunless sandwiches wrapped heartily with lettuce. Not two pieces smaller than the chicken itself. No bun confused them enough to forget the chipotle mayo. When I asked for the "mayo" that was missing, the mgr brought regular. One bite, and I asked "is this chipotle?" "Oh u didn't say that". I was made to feel like I was receiving an aftermarket substitute, instead of the factory original. If I order NO guac, then don't give it to me. That lesson cost me $7.29 . I will be much happier in the future with a $7.99 chicken salad like the one I can get ANYWHERE else. I don't believe much will set them apart. Burger lovers should ignore this review altogether.
