Decided on the truffle mushroom and swiss burger w/ tater tots. The burger and tots came out quickly and was freshly made. The burger was decent but do wish there was a bit more char on the burger patty. Understand that most may not enjoy crispy bits but I think it's what makes the burger unique. COVID experience: Smashburger is always good! The three of us were very satisfied with our meal. The young lady working the front counter was very nice and helpful. All fountain drinks and condiment request are employee serve. For a Thursday 1pm lunch there was only us. Very slow and not sure this location will make it through the entire pandemic. We chose to sit outside just because we felt a little safer. I'm not kidding when I tell you every single solitary table was dirty. If not with crumbs, just plain dirt, like from traffic and the rain. I'm not sure anyone's been out there in days to even wipe tables down. I told the Manager on the way out and she said "thanks". The burgers were good - we shared a Smoked Cheddar Bacon Burger (single / $9.59) and Truffle Turkey Burger (single / $7.09). I would get the Truffle Turkey Burger again. The sides we shared were poor - we shared a Regular Smash Fries ($2.89) and Brussels Sprouts ($3.59). The fries and sprouts were grease bombs, which happens when the fry oil isn't hot enough, and the food absorbs the oil. The store was a mess. When we came in (Wednesday, 7:20 pm), the dining room was empty, but all the tables hadn't been cleaned, the floor needed to be swept, and employees were standing around, socializing. Well, swung by the Smashburger at the Westminster Promenade on July 4th, for a quick shake and some sweet potato fries. Manager was shouting that they were closing in 10 minutes when we arrived, so certainly didn't make you feel too happy to be there. Fries were hot and nicely cooked, but when we finally got our $6 shake...well we were disappointed with how little the shake was! Usually, when you pay that much, they give you the shake in a cup and a good amount left in the metal cup they made it in. They didn't even fill the small cup all the way. Great shake for maybe $3.99, but I could buy a gallon of ice cream and milk and make shakes for the whole family for that price! This was my first time to SmashBurger and the food was amazing and delicious!! But I will say the staff working at this location on July 26th, was unbelievable rude, very slow to getting our food out, and just looked like they absolutely hated their job and got VERY annoyed every-time a new customer walked in. We ordered 3 burgers and 3 fries (to-go) and waited 50 minutes to get them, and when we finally got our food they forgot a fry and it took another 7 minutes for us to get that. The whole time we were waiting no one acknowledged our existence and the amount of profanity we heard from the front counter was very surprising since there were families present.
