Dr Le seems to be very nice however, accounting person is the worst. She has poor attitude to start. Unfriendly approach when discussing money charges. She overcharged me and refused to get preauthourized quote. She said she didn't need to do that. The preauthorization is a perk with my ins. If I request, them must do. My ins had to call and get my bill straight. Too bad that person is there. Makes the office very unfriendly atmosphere. read more

We all know that going to the dentist is not top priority on our list. It had been a few years since my last visit and was pretty much just embarrassed to go after so many years. But I had to make the visit. I researched on Yelp and with my insurance to select a dentist. I chose Dr Le's office. When I first arrived Juliet greeted me by my name! I proceeded to let her know how nervous I was and she said do not worry. She stated they would go over any fees and procedures if they r needed. She explained that nothing would be done without my ok. I provided the basic info for 1st time patients and was promptly called in by Nick, dental assistant. He was also very nice and professional and said do not worry we will take care of you. X-rays and pictures were taken (with a really cool camera) then Dr Le came in to explain everything. My smile began to turn upside down once he pointed out all the decay. I was truly embarrassed with what I saw. I need quite a few fillings and a couple of crowns. :( . Dr Le assured me that the important thing was that I was there now and everything could be done. He never made me feel bad. He assured me he would be very gentle. He explained everything before he did any work. He explained what I would feel and how long it would take. Not only that but he called after my visits to make sure I was doing well! I have already had deep gum cleaning and 3 fillings (2 visits) and honestly it was almost pain free. I never thought I would say that. I still have a few more visits because of how bad i let things go with my teeth but I'm really glad I selected this office. I went there for a routine exam and cleaning and chose this place because of the yelp reviews. After my xrays and check up with the doctor, he said I needed to replace my crown because it's cracked and needed deep cleaning which was a two more visit thing. I felt like he was trying to do all these unnecessary things just for billing and money. Not to mention, they are terrible at follow up. I needed a preauthorization for these additional services and I had to call them after 2 months on the status and after I received an EOB of these services they tried to do on me (yes I know how medical billing works--done it for years). Due to the long wait time, I went to another dentist for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. I did not need any of these additional services and will never return to this dental practice again. read more

I was looking for a new dentist since I moved to the area a couple of years ago and stumbled across this place. Man was I glad I did! First you can make your appointment through their website. You get a call from them in about a day to confirm and you are on your way. This was the first step in how modern this place turned out to be. First impression of the office was simply "Wow!" The decor in the reception area is modern and unlike any other dental office I have been to. When you check in for the first time instead of filling out your basic information on a clipboard, the secretary hands you a tablet computer. After that is done, I was brought back to the dental chair which was also modern and new. I was especially stunned to see a Samsung monitor on a swivel in front of my face. I was greeted by the dental assistant to take my xrays then shortly by Dr. Le himself. Everything was done professionally and painlessly. I couldn't ask for more. To top it off I got to watch a movie during the entire procedure. This place is the total experience and I couldn't ask for more. As I left the office, I was given a bag of dental "goodies" for the road. Later that night I was called by Dr.Le himself to check up on me to see if I was still ok from the procedure. This was nothing less than AMAZING for customer service in my book. I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

When my family started here, it was only Dr. Le. He and the staff were amazing. With the addition (takeover) of Dr. Shariz, we will no longer be patients. He insisted my 9 year old needed multiple teeth pulled because they were "causing problems." We refused and he was very upset about this and tried to guilt me into having the procedure done. Less than a week later these "problem teeth" that were refusing to come out, fell out on their own. When she actually needed to have a tooth pulled and she panicked because of a bad past experience, he said in front of her: "We can send her to a children's dental specialist, but they will tie her down in order to do it." My experience at this office was mixed. I received a deep cleaning and had a few cavities filled. Those appointments went mostly fine, the doctor and assistant were very nice. My issues were honestly with the scheduling. I was supposed to have an appointment July 3rd to see the oral surgeon regarding my wisdom teeth. This appointment was made a month in advance based on when the receptionist told me he would be in. I receive the usual reminders about my upcoming appointment through text the day before and arrive 10 minutes early to my 9am appointment. No one ever showed up. I understand why the office would choose to close the day before a holiday but no one informed me. I received no calls and this isn't the first time my appointment was "cancelled" without being informed prior to showing up. It happened previously because they were having issues with my insurance so they wanted to reschedule once they were authorized to see me. I appreciated that but once again showed up at 9am to an appointment that never happened. The worst thing is that I left a voicemail trying to see what happened and it's now been at least 4 days without a response. I won't be returning to this office. They didn't value my time which is ironic since they have such a strict cancellation policy. read more

If I can give more than 5 stars I would!! I've had a childhood dentist before coming here but I will never go back there again! I yelped and yelped dental offices and finally found Dr.Le's office and I couldn't be more happy!!i needed emergency dental work and as soon as I called the girls in the front were super sweet and understanding and figured out a way to get me in there as soon as possible!! With the curve ball I threw at them that I was leaving on vacation in a few weeks!! From the consultation to every treatment I needed I can honestly say I've never left more happy from a dental office. The consultation was awesome! It wasn't your typical let me take some X-rays and tell you everything that's wrong, it was more thorough than anywhere I have ever gone, Dr.Le explained the X-rays to me and had his assistant Christina take videos and pictures of my teeth so I can understand what's really going on and I can visually see it as well which I thought was awesome!! It made me more comfortable with the fact that I could actually see and understand what was going on with my teeth. Right away we started some work and even with my vacation in the way they figured out how to make sure I didn't leave in pain and was able to enjoy my vacation! Obviously Dr Le is very good or I wouldn't be singing his praises. What sets him apart and convinced me to leave my previous dentist of 30+ yrs. was that he took time to personally call me a week after a crown replacement to see how it was feeling. My daughter and son-in-law, referred me and they were right; It's clean, the staff is personable / professional and Dr. Le is spectacular! Great attention to the work and the patient. The staff at Family Dental Works was courteous and kind. The facilities are nice and clean. The dentist shared good, but limited information about the health of my teeth and mouth. Sadly, was very disappointed with the quality of preventative service. In 36 years, I've never been to a dentist that barely cleaned my teeth, and did so in eight minutes. I think it's unfortunate that you have to schedule a separate deep-cleaning session to receive basic services (like flossing and a fluoride treatment). My teeth felt like fuzzy slippers when I left the office, and that should never happen. I do not think I'll return to this office. read more

Okay, so I typically stick to restaurants and cigar lounges but this dentist deserves some recognition. So when you think about your dentist, his or her office and staff, what sort of images come to mind? Well, this location is very different from anything I have ever experienced. I recently changed my dentist because she wouldn't explain procedures and would even get upset if I asked her to explain why something had to be done. When you walk in, the front office looks more like a lounge, a spa to be precise. They provide free wi-fi, not that you would need it but it came in handy for me since I brought my 3 1/2 yr old and she loves to see videos on my Itouch. Anyhow, this is a very modern office, state of the art technology and the chairs where you sit for your procedures are high-end leather. Something you would find in a Lexus. Now for the customer service part of it. Everyone in the awesome was so nice, I was greeted by everyone that I interacted with and the dentist was very informative. He took the time to show me areas of interest, recommendations but most of all, I didn't leave the office feeling like I had not done enough (some dentists really dig into you). As I was leaving, my daughter was asking if she could go next; that is so crazy! They treat children too so I will be taking my daughter there now. After explaining my situation (my dad has Alzheimer's) to Gipsy and Juliet they were really helpful and accommodating with everything ranging from his health situation to insurance issues. I went here for the dental exam based on good yelp reviews but I'm really disappointed. After I got called into the room, I had to wait about an hour for the dentist. As I was waiting for the dentist in the room, I heard him chatting with other patients who came later than me. After the first visit, I called to talk to the dentist. I was told he will call me back when he's free but I never received a call from him. It also seems the dentist is very greedy because there is charge for everything. I've gone to many dental offices in my life but I've never seen an office which charge for an administration fee for a copy of my x-ray. I already paid for the x-ray but they said there is an ADMINISTRATION FEE for emailing me the copy. Bad customer service. Don't go here and make your day miserable. read more

We tried Family Dental initially because it was close to home. We go back because it is amazing! The staff is so nice and Dr. Le goes out of his way to make my visit pain-free and stress-free. I have TMJ that makes it difficult for me to keep my mouth open during s cleaning without pain. But Dr. Le does the cleaning in a way that keeps me pain free. I had a really great experience at your office every one treated me with great care the only one issue I had was that my FSA card was not accepted because of the type of cc swipe you use lucky I had money in my bank account, every year I put money into that account because I may not have 400.00 to spend at one time for Dental procedures the FSA is used for that purpose I might have to go somewhere else just for that reason and that to bad because I really like going to you. read more
