Dentists need to stop pressuring people into getting their teeth straightened and judging people for not going to the dentist for so long. You don't know anyone's life beyond their health records. Sure, make recommendations but don't shame people for not having gotten xyz procedure done already. Judgy attitude aside they did a great job with cleaning and polishing my teeth. I wish there was more privacy since the chair was kind of just sitting in an open space. There wasn't anyone else there when I went but it would have felt awkward if there was another patient there. Overall I'd go again if they could focus on the health of my teeth. read more

I had a exam and cleaning done. The Dentist was nice and explained what was needed for my root canal in one of my tooth. The staff was pretty friendly and sweet. We got off on a wrong foot with me refusing to take X-rays for a toothache but she took it in her stride and explained why it was necessary with a " you are telling me to hike in a new terrain without giving me a map " ok - point noted . Thanks to Dr. Soniya for doing a complex filling on my molar today. I was scared of the local anesthesia in the gum , so kept on postponing. Dr. Soniya gave me a local anesthesia gel first , which made the injection pain close to zero. The whole process was less painful then teeth cleaning. I had selected Dr. Soniya as my dentist based on excellent Google reviews and I am still very happy that I went to her. I had a lot of cavities, some of them very difficult to clean and fill. She told me that I really needed crown, etc. but never fussed about filling them since I was always reluctant to do anything until it was not possible to do the filling. She always makes herself available for her patients whenever they need her, even on Saturdays when no other dentists are available, unless it is absolutely impossible for her. I moved to LA from Bay area in September 2021 but I was still able to reach out to her when I was experiencing pain in my tooth for her opinion on what I needed to do. Dr.More is really good. I chipped off my tooth 4 days ago. I called her and asked her if she can fix it. She asked me to send an image of my tooth. I obliged. Then she called me and told me to immediately get treated as their are chances of infection. I was skeptic about visiting clinic due to corona virus. But i still decided to go. When i went their i was relived to see the amont of care and precaution she and her assistants were taking. Eveything was well sanitized. Dr. Soniya is amazing, she always put her patients first. She was very helpful when I needed adjustment for my bridge, even though I had to do it multiple times over time. At times I couldn't tell what was wrong correctly, so she kept explaining how what I assumed it to be was not possible and when I kept insisting she took an X-ray to put my mind at ease, over time I realized she was right and I was just getting used to the bridge. Save yourself time and do not visit this dentist. I had to go to another dentist to fix all the problems she caused. Here is what happened: I went for a dental consultation and she suggested I visit her two more times for the following sessions: 1) Deep cleaning on right side and filling of my tooth. 2) Deep cleaning for the left side. I show up for the first session and she does not explain her plan for the day and starts working on my tooth. I had no idea if she was filling my tooth or deep cleaning. I ask her later what she is doing and she replies I'm filling your tooth. While she is filling my tooth she is informed that a patient that was supposed to arrive earlier has arrived. Her assistant immediately leaves so I have to use the vaccum myself to suck the chemicals out of my mouth. She on the other hand tries to quickly wrap up the work on my filling and after a month my filled tooth is still hurting. I'm visiting another dentist for that. Since she already did the cleaning on my right side I told myself that I will let her finish the left side and I will never go there again. So I go there for the last time and she asks me "we are cleaning the right side right?" I tell her no we did the right side last time. She say's "I'm sorry my bad". Then 5 minutes later she starts using chemicals that make your mouth numb on my RIGHT SIDE. I mean what the hell is wrong with you woman. NOW YOU"RE GOING TO NUMB MY ENTIRE MOUTH. I told you 5 minutes ago you have to clean my left side. While she is cleaning my mouth she is informed another patient that was supposed to be there earlier has arrived and AGAIN SHE WRAPS THINGS UP QUICKLY TO SERVE THE OTHER CUSTOMER. Based on my friend's recommendation, I visited this place yesterday for my parents dental treatment. I noticed that this is new office with latest equipments and very spacious. My parents were very happy with the treatment and they have no complaints. I booked an online appointment via ZocDoc for a routine dental checkup/cleaning. I discovered that I had nascent cavities on my molars. After the dental cleaning, I scheduled two subsequent appointments for dental fillings. Dr. More referred me to a dental surgeon for my wisdom tooth extraction (I can no longer escape the impending doom). The clinic has modern equipment and all the forms can be filled online via ZocDoc or onsite (woooo, no paper forms!). I highly recommend Dr. Soniya More as your primary dentist. read more

I have been a patient at Smiles More Dental for 6 years now. This dentist/practice is the best dental experience I have had in my life. Main reasons for this are: (1) I have never waited more than a few minutes, (2) the dentist seems in no way focused on doing more work than is needed - teeth are kept in good condition and I somehow need less work than from previous practice, and (3) cost, I know this is insurance driven but I seem to pay much less out of pocket here with Delta Dental than previously. I think they do not bill aggresively at all. Finally, when I had issues with an injury, the dentist spent personal time to discuss when not working and squeezed me in immediately to come in. With this practice you trade the frills of a fancy practice with aquariums/TV/etc. for everything you really want in a dental practice. Minimal time/cost/pain to keep teeth healthy. read more

This place did not inform me clearly before the procedure about the charges I needed to bear and the amount covered by the insurance. I got a shock when the insurance statement arrived. After the procedure the doctor said it would stay for only a few months, she would perform the procedure again on my next visit. Is it some kind of a joke? Who visits a dentist for a procedure that is going to be effective only for 2-3 months? It hurt badly whenever the doctor administered the numbing injection, while there was another assistant who was much more professional and efficient. I didn't feel a thing when this other assistant did the procedure. There are much more competent and professional dentists around. Would never visit again. However my wife got a few teeth recommended to be extracted by an oral surgeon. When she went to the surgeon, he suspected that one of the teeth recommended by Smiles More was wrong. Dr. Soniya was recommended to me by my employee at my bussiness to go see regarding my wife needing a rooth canel on her tooth After calling her & setting up an appointment she told us if i pay cash since we have no insurance she charge us $500 total Which was a good deal the previous doctor was going to charge $650 After going to see her to do the rooth canel she decided to raise the price to $700 Her reason was is harder to do ! But we alread told her what # tooth it was before we went to see her . She ended up doing the rooth canel & wanted the payment in cash which am glad i was smart enough to put it on my credit card so i have proof that i paid her . The next couple of days my wife was in so much pain and after calling her she told me is normal just take the antibiotics which she was taken even that she was breast feeding my daughter .. After 7 days of being in extreme pain & the side of her face swellowing very badly i called her again & she told me to cone see her Once we saw her she told us ohhh my god this is very bad you need to take her to emergency ASAP she recommended a root canal specialist a friend of hers ... which was not available that day so i took my wife to another dentist & they prescribed different antibiotics to make the swelling go down but after a week it was the same so at that time i took her to emergency & the cut to get the infection out Later that week i finally found a highly recommend rooth canel specialist that after looking at her tooth that Dr. Soniya should have not started the rooth canel knowing the tooth was infected !!!
