I just ate it as I didn't want to have to wait for any additional time considering the small portions. My mother wanted dessert so we ended up staying. There wasn't an actual dessert menu so the server told us about the three options, one of which was a Limoncello Cheesecake. We both decided on that and when the server brought them out the portion size was decent but it wasn't cheesecake. It was a sponge cake with lemon cream. How does a server not know what a cheesecake is?! Needless to say we won't be back.

We were charged $69.99 per person for dinner, plus a $54 service charge, a 20% gratuity, and tax, resulting in a bill of more than $350. My biggest issue is not necessarily the higher holiday pricing itself--restaurants are free to set their prices. The problem is that the Father's Day pricing was not clearly disclosed or prominently communicated before we ordered. Had we known the true cost, we would have made a different decision. Transparency matters. Customers should know exactly what they will be paying before they sit down and order, especially when holiday pricing nearly doubles the advertised rate and additional service charges and gratuities are automatically added. The food was acceptable, but it was completely overshadowed by the surprise bill and the feeling that important pricing information was not clearly communicated. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling misled rather than appreciated on Father's Day.
