I immediately called the shop and asked again how much an oil change for that exact vehicle should cost. A different employee told me the same thing: 100-120 dollars. When I asked why my daughter was billed 150, she looked up the invoice and confirmed the only service performed was an oil change. She even admitted the price seemed high and said she would check with her manager. Later, I received a call back stating 150 dollars was the "correct" price, despite both employees confirming twice that the cost for her vehicle should be 100-120 dollars. This feels dishonest and misleading. I strongly believe they took advantage of a teen because she didn't know any better. I will never return to Main Street Auto and want others to be aware of their shady practices.
