I've taken a few different cars to Smog Simple over the years and Kha always does a great job at getting the test done quickly and managing the line of cars that sometimes forms outside his small shop. You can tell he's a hard worker and he knows the smog business inside and out. And he's always in a good mood! This morning I brought him a new-to-me 1977 Pontiac and he explained to me each step as he went through the extended smog process required for classic cars. Some shops turn away vintage cars because of the lengthy process (45min to an hour) but Kha was patient with me and did all the tests with a smile. I simply love this place. I have been coming here for about 10 years. Quick, easy, and always super friendly. It's always been first come first serve, no matter what, so please call ahead to see how many customers are currently waiting. It's about 20 minutes per customer. I've been going here for over 10 years for all my smog test needs on multiple cars. The guy is very efficient and knowledgeable. I went a few weeks ago with a Porsche Boxster and this car is always a pain in the rear every time it needs a service or work since the engine is in the back and it's just hard to get to but he tested it no problem. I have been taken my EOS for smog checks to Smog Simple for several years now. The car is a older- 2007. Many smog checks by now. The owner is always professional, organized, focused and gets you in an out quickly. Usually I call before I go, to see if he is too busy. Like today he said to come in 45 minutes. There are no appointments. Someone was there before me already. Not a problem, he is really fast too. You can wait at the seating area. Usually you bring your car in and out when is done.
