He is not professional and polite simply very much entitled and rude! They replaced my battery so quickly and they called us to let us know that it was 603.50. Usually one calls before working on a car to make sure the cost is okay with the customer. Also on their invoice it says free battery check and free battery install yet they charged me 283.50 for labor and 320 for the battery for my mini Cooper!!! Simply feel sick and awfully stupid since yesterday. They lost two good customers for good. We will not take our Porsche and Mini for to MountainView tire & Auto Service again.

Mentioned I found him on Yelp, then made an appointment. No frills shop in Cat City near Rancho Mirage. Joe had me in & out in less than 10 minutes. Joe gave me a $5 Yelp discount, so it was $55 for smog check + certificate. Can't beat that. I paid nearly $70, 2 years ago at a different shop. I walked in around 12 PM for an oil change, and the manager at the front desk told me they wouldn't be able to get to my car until around 3 PM. I understand that a shop can be busy and that there may be a wait, but the way it was communicated made me feel like my business was an inconvenience. I've also noticed that there is very little customer service when you walk in. There's no real welcome or effort to make you feel like a valued customer. The manager often seems bothered when customers come in, and unfortunately, I've experienced this more than once. I left yesterday very unhappy. At this point, even though the location is convenient and the prices are somewhat reasonable, I won't be coming back. It's disappointing because good customer service would make a big difference.

After holding it for three days, Vince told me he couldn't figure it out and "doesn't work on valves." This is the same guy who repeatedly mentioned having 45 years of experience and working on Hondas with over 400k Instead of fixing it, he told me to go to the dealer for a $1300 repair he wouldn't or couldn't do--and then charged me $350 for diagnostic time. Imagine being told, "I can't fix it, but you still owe me $350." I feel cheated, because I never said not to do the work--I would have let him fix it. I basically paid $350 for his lack of knowledge. For som eone claiming decades of experience, a basic Honda V6 shouldn't be "too complex." Save yourself the headache, time, and money. If it's not just an oil change or something simple, go straight to a dealer or a shop with trained techs. Thats exactly what I paid 350 for so just start at the dealer.
