Ribs and brisket were tough and needed a knife to cut. Flavor was good but meet was extremely difficult to chew. Bummer. Used to like Rib Crib. Won't be stopping here again. read more

I think the food was at its best back on Harvard in Tulsa in '92. That was the original location. But 30-years later the food is consistently good from any one of their (many) locations. All of their meats have a nice smoked flavor and aren't dry. They aren't drenched in sauce either. You can add their BBQ sauce on ribs, brisket, bologna or pulled pork to suit your liking. There are 3 types of sauces in squeeze bottles on the tables if you're dining in or they will put individually packaged sauce in takeout orders. All of their side items are good. This is rare because at some BBQ restaurants the meats are tasty but the side items aren't tasty. Or other restaurants might have simply one delicious side item. At Rib Crib, their barbecue beans, cole slaw, potato salad, French fries and okra are all nice accompaniments to their dinners and sandwiches. Table service available. This place is great, the ribs and brisket are super tender with great favor. The hot links have just the right amount of heat and spices.

We came to RibCrib on a Saturday night around 6:00. My husband wanted ribs , the waiter told us they were out of ribs and pulled Pork. RibCrib isn't that why you come to this place? My husband ended up getting a sandwich that was not what he really wanted. We didn't see our waiter much and when the food was delivered he ask for onions with he meal. 20 minutes later they brought the onions which we didn't need anymore because he was already finished. Waiting on our waiter so we can pay and leave. This RibCrib is a hit and miss when it comes to just what they are serving that day. read more

I just moved to a nearby town and finally had the chance to check this place. I'm glad I did. I've been here twice and got two different sandwiches. One was the cribwich with sausage & chopped brisket. It was really good. Today, I got the peach cribwich with turkey & chopped brisket. The peach sauce is so good! I'm not too big on bbq sauce, BUT I had to ask for extra sauce on the side because it was that good lol side of okra was cooked beautifully. I also got the peach palmer drink. Also, very good. The hostess was polite and my server was very nice. I had an all-around great experience. I already told my family when they come to visit, that I'm bringing them here. We really enjoyed the food. I had the dynamite chicken salad with the bbq ranch dressing. The salad was really hearty, chicken was wonderful, and they give you plenty of dressing with it as well. My partner had the club sandwich and they also very much enjoyed it. Both meals were a good size and were very filling. Our server Mo was friendly and checked on us just the right amount. As out-of-towners this industrial-rustic styled restaurant definitely feels like OK. For a Saturday evening, they didn't seem too busy and it took no time at all for us to be sat. Food didn't take long to come out either. The booths themselves seemed clean but weren't all that comfortable (but what can you do). They also had UFC and Fox News on the TVs if that's your thing. I definitely recommend this place if you're traveling in the area and want a place to kick back for a bit with a beer and some hot food. read more

Wow, chain restaurants have benifits and problems...I'm sure Covid has effected them. We had a good staff, very fun server and effect floor manager. Orders came out fast. I had ribs, the place's speciality, well they were finished, cooked. The expected smoke flavors, dry spices expected didn't show up. The baked beans would of been better from the can. Fries are okay and the okra was from a freezer bag. So much for the safety of a chain....still very edible. Even bad bbq is better than a Taco Bell. This Claremore location is the best! I love the drive through option if I need a quick lunch or order dinner for the family. They are quick, attentive, and convenient! My favorite things to order here are sausage, pulled pork, turkey, and potato salad. The flavors aren't too spicy but fresh and perfect for families with kids. read more

Quick family dinner decision was made for some BBQ. Drove over from the town to the east. We were greeted and seated immediately. After sitting there for 15 minutes we were still never attended to. I understand staffing issues but that was not the issue. They just didn't care. Multiple people standing at the hostess stand and the kitchen prep area. After what appeared to be a manager walking by twice without asking for our drink order we decided to go somewhere else. On a positive note we were thanked for dining with them by the hostess group on our way out. I truly enjoy Rib Crib and generally deal with mediocre service but no service wasn't my deal tonight. read more

Only giving it 3 stars . I've been to several!! Rib cribs at various locations . Been to several barbecue eateries, and it's a shame that such a restaurant like rib crib with its pleasant atmosphere, and has ok food , but the major complaint I have. Is that if it's A barbecue, smoked meats , it should have a definite noticeable smoky flavor .. the meats do not !! There is hardly a hint of smoky flavor . It's a shame !! They need to address this issue BIG TIME!! If the flavor of the meats was a nice definite smoky flavor then it would take this place to the top!!!!! Without a doubt!!!! Let's get smoky !!!! There's more smoke smell from your shirt then there is on the meats , and quite frankly, that is sad !! I hope this message reaches to the top of the management!!! You know for a big BBQ chain Rib Crib isn't terrible. It's not my favorite but it's at least consistsnt. The staff at this location are friendly and it is located in right on RT 66 so it's convenient. The food though for me as consistsnt as it may be isn't up to speed for me....... especially the BBQ. Granted I have been to Memphis and KCMO many times and have had really good Q. Tonight though I tried a chicken fried steak and it was totally over cooked. The mashed potatoes and gravy were okay but the star of the show was the fried okra. That was so delicious and just how I like. Maybe for a good lot of people this is great and that's okay, for me it's just not what I'm after. My parents enjoy it, especially on Tuesday for all you can eat ribs...... so I dine here about once a month. Happy eating. read more

Food is not fresh it seems, the last time we went in the ribs and chicken were cold to the touch. That tells me that they're cooked, probably offsite, and then brought in and reheated. That was a huge disappointment. They've undergone some huge turnover which affects the service, naturally. read more

This place has gone done hill rapidly! If you get your order to go, check you order. Each time we've got to go orders, over the last two months, the side containers are filled half full. Three times they assure us that they had "settled." The next two times, they were also "settled," even though we ordered through the drive thru. read more

My mom and I ordered RibCrib takeout during our cross-country move, and I've just got to say: Oklahomans know good food!!! We searched along our route for iconic foods in each state, and RibCrib blew every other meal out of the water! Together we ordered brisket, ribs, fried bologna, and pulled pork as well as mac n cheese, fried okra, sweet and smoky beans, and cowboy beans. Our favorite meat was the brisket although they were all delicious! The creamy mac n cheese was definitely the best side. It was a little pricey to try out so many items, but the servings are large and well-worth the money! read more

We just visited here while we were on the road. We tried the St. Louis style ribs and the brisket chicken combo plate. This being a chain restaurant our expectations were not too high. The chicken was tender and moist but a little light on smoke. The brisket was very good. Nice smoke, well developed bark and not dry. The ribs were well rubbed with a nice combination of seasonings. The flavors were excellent. We always give extra marks for St. Louis style as they are so much more risky to get right that the safe bet baby backs. In this case the fault was that they were way too tender. There was no tooth at all. The sides were ok but nothing special. This place was ok for a chain but does not reach the bar set by Franklin's or other custom smokers. read more

I have eaten at the Rib Crib in Claremore for 20+ years. A few months ago I order the loaded baked spuds. We waited 45 mintues and the place was half full. The food was cold, even the butter was cold. I asked to speak to the manager,,,,25 minutes later she showed up and told me it would take another 20 minutes for new plates. Then last week I went back thinking the last visit was a fluke. We ordered ribs, and were told they were out of ribs and it was during lunch. I enjoy going to the rib crib for a cheap meal. However I did get the ribs just not the greatest ribs. My server was friendly and she got it taken care of. The okra was really good and I had a huge brisket salad. The all you can eat ribs were OK but pretty fatty and nothing special. They're just was not much flavor. Second visit to this restaurant chain and I can say that my first time was better. This visit the hostess was nice and seated us quickly. Waitress was all smiles and brought out drinks quickly and took the orders no problem. Just food taste was a bit muted and could have been a bit warmed in my opinion but I would say their ample a/c system made for that issue. The a/c was bumpin when we came in and didn't quit. On a hot day it's greatly appreciated but 9 o'clock at night it just takes the heat from the meat. read more

We were not greeted and brushed off by the hostess. She clearly made eye contact with me and just looked very unhappy that we walked in and did not have a good attitude toward me or other customers walking in. Once seated the waitress brought me the wrong drink and I found hair in my mashed potatoes and gravy. I really like Rib Crib but the last two times iv'e gone there for lunch to go, it has been very poor quality. The loaded baked potato looked like and tasted like it had been micro waved 5 times. It was dry and not very loaded. The second time I got a rib dinner. Same thing, dry and poor quality ribs. Not sure why it has gone down hill like it has. Not sure I'll go there again.
