Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. They had an allergy menu that we could bring to the table. I informed our server I was celiac / gluten free. She was very knowledgeable and informed me they will clean the griddle for pancakes and that the bacon and hash browns were safe as well. The food came out on a different tray and separate from the rest of the table. I ordered the banana nut GF pancakes with a side of hash browns. The food and service were amazing!

    Cheers to brunch!

Bustling breakfast and brunch place that will put you on a text waitlist so you can visit the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum next door until your table is ready. We all chose grit skillets and agreed they needed salt and pepper at the table. The Spanish skillet could be improved with salsa, more cheese, and/or sour cream. The fruit on the flapjacks is fresh not frozen, but don't bother with the buckwheat ones, stick with the originals. The staff work very hard and are extremely nice. Parking in the close lot is dear, but there is more up the hill. Gender-segregated restrooms. Most of the seating is benches, but a few of the tables have chairs that can be removed for a wheelchair or stroller.

Our waiter was quick and kind, the food was SO good. It was super casual, great for young kids to not feel like a disruption, very family friendly. I currently have to be gluten free so I ordered the gluten friendly pancakes which were so good!! I also ordered a skillet and it was also amazing. My kids are great too. I highly recommend, especially after a long hike in the Smokies!

The Chicken Feast, it also includes a biscuit and pancakes

Food was delicious, hot and plentiful. We have enough leftovers for lunch. Our waitress, Brittany, was friendly and polite. Flapjacks is clean and a pleasant place to enjoy a hearty breakfast and hot coffee.

We were staying close to another pancake place but there was a wait so we headed closer in and decided to stop at this location. Smart move. Wife and daughter got omelets along with a basket of biscuits and they were outstanding. I got a skillet that had an egg, biscuit, hash browns, gravy, sausage, and two pancakes. I think that is enough said. Way too much food but really great. Our waitress took care of us at all times even with it being very busy. She was also very funny. Nothing wrong with how the place was decorated. It looked like a mountain cabin and we had plenty of room. I would go back to this location.

My friend had the corned beef and cabbage skillet. He said it was super delicious. I would go back there again. Ps it was a lot of food, but it was super delicious

The service was fast. Shelly was very nice, and had our orders taken and ready within 15 minutes. The breakfast was delightfulx it was a bit expensive, but worth it. My fiancé and I spent about $66 here. Still a great experience from the decor down to the delicacies.

Always busy and a quick service pancake house that works well for large groups. Several area locations to choose from.

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

My favorite part was the broccoli cheddar soup that came with my meal. It was delicious. My country chicken with gravy was a little chewy but the gravy was flavorful. Our waitress was very sweet. This is a nice refreshing change of pace from all the hustle and bustle. There is a beautiful bubbling stream across the street and it's very relaxing environment- less traffic and off on a side road. The apple fritters were AMAZING. We devoured them! Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. Don't be fooled by the big print image of the can on the menu. Restaurant - 6/10 Demon Soup In An Aluminum Can - 2/10

After watching 3 tables that ordered after us receive their food, I asked where ours was at and was told it was next. About 4-5 minutes later our food came out. Cold. Like it's been sitting for 20 minutes cold :/ if they left it on accident, they could've taken 5 minutes to remake and BLT and some French toast. Go a few feet further to Split Rail Eats, you won't regret it! Although the food came out cold, I will say the potatoes, BLT, potato salad and tavern toast were good. But they were all cold. I don't enjoy cold eggs or bacon so they were just a waste of money :/ Paying $50 for a BLT, Tavern Toast adding Eggs, getting our own drinks AND tipping 15% for them to take 35 minutes to deliver our food to us cold IMHO, isn't the characteristics of restaurant I'd promote to others. Had they stated they left it in the window too long and needed to make it fresh and we'd have to wait another 5-10, I'd be leaving a different review. We don't complain, that's why we didn't say anything at the time. We get things get busy and forgotten. Our food was definitely served cold so it was either intentionally left or forgotten. Either way, I don't ask for refunds for this reason. I share my experiences and let others decide how to vote with their wallets and choices. I'm not rude and demand to be refunded. I just don't function like that. Also no one ever asked if our food was good or we would've said something God Bless.
