We had a group of seven dine-in for late breakfast. This is a busy location in Gatlinburg and we were lucky to only have a 30 minute wait. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. While you wait they have a great gift shop available to look though and keep you preoccupied. The store is well organized and the restaurant is kept clean. Once seated our server, Macy took excellent care of us. She was efficient with bringing drinks and keeping them topped off. It was pretty crazy that our order was out in 15 minutes, great job! I ordered the Works Omelet ($13.49) with has browns, and Nancy chose the Bacon Grits Skillet with two eggs and pancakes ($12.49) and a cup of coffee ($3.29). Our meals were hot, fresh, and delicious. The only issue is they don't make their hash browns too crispy, so if you like them that way be sure to ask. We were in and out in about an hour minus the wait. The service was very good and the ambiance was nice and appropriate for the Smokey Mountains area. The food was a little disappointing though. The hash browns were undercooked and lukewarm at best. The omelette I had was great, so I guess it made up for the hash browns. My grandsons pancakes were not hot, but room temperature. They forgot to put the cheese in my wife's eggs as requested. Food was delicious so glad we chose this place for breakfast while on spring break everything came out hot and fresh. I didn't get a picture of my food but managed to snap a picture of my kids food. Customer service was awesome. Our waitress was so nice. Make sure we had everything we needed and even went over the menu and gave us some of the fan favorites that are a big hit. We went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a music festival. Every morning we went to one of the flapjacks in the area for breakfast (actually different ones on different days.) We stopped in for breakfast early in the morning on December 9, 2025. We were immediately welcomed by the staff with friendly Southern charm. We were seated right away, and able to place our order without any delay. We kept it simple with eggs, sausage, bacon, and a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The pancakes were delicious, and the warm syrup was served in a way that prevented spills. The biscuits and gravy were easily the best I've had in a long while. This place has a log cabin feel blended with it 40s 50s memorabilia on the wall that really adds to the country rustic dining experience. Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. They had an allergy menu that we could bring to the table. I informed our server I was celiac / gluten free. She was very knowledgeable and informed me they will clean the griddle for pancakes and that the bacon and hash browns were safe as well. We all chose grit skillets and agreed they needed salt and pepper at the table. The Spanish skillet could be improved with salsa, more cheese, and/or sour cream. The fruit on the flapjacks is fresh not frozen, but don't bother with the buckwheat ones, stick with the originals. The staff work very hard and are extremely nice. Parking in the close lot is dear, but there is more up the hill. Gender-segregated restrooms. Wife and daughter got omelets along with a basket of biscuits and they were outstanding. I got a skillet that had an egg, biscuit, hash browns, gravy, sausage, and two pancakes. Within walking distance of our Tree Tops Resort is Flapjacks - East Parkway. Small parking lot fools folks into thinking this house may be full. There is abundant parking. Caveat: we recommend dining between noon and 1:00PM. Today - The LeConte: 3 eggs & Country Fried Steak covered in sausage gravy and Blueberry pancakeds- Fresh blueberries. Server Brittany is excellent but takes prides in knowing Nothing about Gatlinburg and Sevier County. This Flapjacks is always clean as are the restrooms. My wife son and I went to the Cottage Restuerant in Pigeon Forge, Tn. It was an experience to behold and got my highest compliment. Wife had the Eggs Benedict my son an omelet and I had the the home made short rib hash. Each dish came out beautiful presented the eggs were cooked exactly as requested the potatoes golden brown and my short rib was made to perfection. I told our waiter to please tell the chef that brunch was a culinary orgasium. We LOVE Flapjacks!!!! Many years ago we stayed at a motel near this Flapjacks location. We've been to the other ones, but this is our preferred location. Food is delish. We love the banana nut pancakes and the cinnamon pancakes. Eggs, bacon, and country ham are delicious sides. The ambiance is so cute and perfect for the Smoky Mountains area. Who doesn't want delish pancakes in a log cabin?! The last time we went they were super busy, but still got us in quickly. It's hard to pick the star of the show, but it's got to be the staff. They are so friendly. Nice to chat with locals. Flapjacks has true southern charm. We come back to Flapjacks every time we come to the mountains. When I visited Gatlinburg, I went there for Brekkie one of the days I was there, phenomenonal! I loved the bear pancakes too, so cute!

They is no shortage of pancakes in this area and so where to choose makes it more of a challenge. We felt Flapjack's Cabin won out due to the good reviews and pictures. It is what the name says a cabin, but a huge cabin and we sat close to a window looking out at the local river. With the selection I choose the banana nut pancakes that sounded really good and when they came to the table they looked great. Our server Michael warms up the syrup so you can enjoy that on your pancakes. The pancakes had a dense consistency and that meant more syrup but with the bananas, nuts and the dense pancakes and syrup I was left full and happy read more
