Endless coffee to fuel the trek up the mountain
    Kevin E.

We were actually waiting for Crockett's and decided to try our hand somewhere else. While flapjacks also had a line, we got in much quicker to get our griddle fix. They are quite efficient with a grid layout and well trained staff. Despite the workload, everyone seemed friendly and eager to help. The coffee was bountiful and somewhat better than your normal greasy spoon. They were out of the bacon twists appetizer, but that just shows the popularity. Ended up with the Wonderland plate and an enormous amount of food, having to leave behind half a biscuit and 1 flapjack. The meats were tasty and eggs were cooked right to order. The only drawback was the bathroom situation. They have a single unisex stall downstairs, with more space upstairs. However, with this being the only option for mobility impaired folks, and being so frequented, it needs more attention by the staff. It hasn't been cleaned for a bit and maybe some automation (sink/soap/towel dispenser) would help.

The place was nice! It's a small and quaint location with lots of variety on the menu. Food is decently priced, as to be expected; I enjoyed my eggs and hash brown. The waitress was kind and caring, and made sure to check in frequently as we ate. It's a nice place for breakfast if you're in town.

    Chicken & Waffle

I got the chicken and waffles and literally quit eating the waffle because the chicken was the best chicken i've ever had in my entire life. Don't get me wrong the waffle was good but I had to focus on eating all that chicken because it checked every box to perfection: tender, crispy, flavorful, juicy, and hot.

They take your info at the door.. then text you when your table is ready... very fast very & efficient regardless of the line out the door.....Food was delicious... waitress Liberty served with a smile .... She was friendly and fast.. Parking only in paid structures

We were in Gatlinburg on the Thanksgiving day and it was a blessing to have this breakfast place ready to take us in rush hour when we registered to join the online queue. Many restaurants were closing early on the day of Thanksgiving and were flooded. We were there with 3 kids and when there are kids there is mess.. one of the kid spilled water all over the table and the servers helped to clean the table without any delays. The food was really good and service was quick The ambience was like a wooden lodge.

We from Florida and we decided to stop by for breakfast before heading back home. Best decision we made wished we would have came here first. The place feels very homie Addie was attending us and she was super sweet very attentive. The food is delicious big plates. I had The Wonderland and it was amazing the pancakes and biscuit were the best. My boyfriend had the walkers cabin skillet and it looked delicious. They bring out the syrup nice and warm which is amazing. Definitely coming back here on our next trip.

Located on the main street in Gatlinburg, we chose this spot for breakfast to avoid the insane one-hour plus waits at other places. The interior has a cute wooden cabin vibe that fits well with Gatlinburg's theme. Our large party was quickly seated on the second floor, and the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the bacon egg breakfast with pancakes, but it was pretty mediocre, tasting similar to something from IHOP. On the bright side, they easily split our bills for multiple parties and accepted Apple Pay. If you're looking for an authentic diner experience, this isn't quite it. However, for a touristy town with no wait, it's not bad at all.

Everywhere I turned I saw pancakes everywhere so I wanted to see what they were about. Honestly they were regular pancakes nothing to special about them but I really enjoyed my meal. If I lived near one I would go back. They were inexpensive and had a large menu. The staff was very nice we loved our waitress! She was also able to give us recommendations around the area of things to do! The restaurant was huge two levels so there was plenty of seats and no wait. The restaurant was also very clean which impressed me as well.

To be quite honest, I came here by accident. Spending $20 just to park nearby was painful. When you aren't too keen on the free parking around town, it can be challenging. I simply had to spend another hour or so on the main street just to get my money's worth. The coffee is solid along with the awesome theme and look of this restaurant. Service was also great. No complaints in that department whatsoever. The downfall was simply the food. For nearly $20, I got 2 pancakes, 3 scrambled eggs, and 2 sausage links. Pricing wasn't outrageous, but the taste of the food was just awful. The eggs were very bland and overcooked. The 2 sausage links were cold and almost resembled those thick jerky sticks you can get from gas stations. I ordered 2 blueberry pancakes, but what they do is pour blueberry syrup on the pancakes and throw a handful of blueberries on them. Just, disappointed to say the least, for my first meal in Gatlinburg.

    Eggs and sausage patties

Wouldn't return. The atmosphere was lacking -- the space was small, loud, and not particularly comfortable. While the prices were low, the food quality reflected that: very disappointing and likely frozen. The sausage patties had an unpleasant texture and tasted pre-packaged, the hash browns resembled something straight from a grocery store freezer bag, and both the eggs and pancakes were below average. Service was mediocre, though the staff did seem overworked and short-staffed, which may have been a factor. TL;DR: Skip it. Low-quality food, uncomfortable atmosphere, and struggling service.

    Nutella banana pancakes

Great food, reasonable price (in a town of unreasonably high tourist prices) and friendly service. I would choose it over standing in long long lines for the same food at far higher prices at Crockett's or the others any day. Loud with the hard walls and floors and breakfast plates clanging.

Waitress was very sweet!! I believe this place is overhyped. Food came out cold (we did have a party of 6) , pancakes were bland (even with the toppings) and spongy texture. The skillets were good and the grits were also bland and watery. The hot chocolate was very good.

Great experience! Server was very attentive and kind. Food was so delicious. Waffle was moist and chicken was super flavorful. The omelet was just as good. Would go back here again! We loved it.

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

Gordon Ramsey would consider it a threat. As a chewy bacon lover and enthusiast, when my bacon came out charred and demented, i was appalled to say the least. I had to drench it in the white gravy so it would give my stomach the illusion of chewy. Even then, even with the request of chewy, i was let down. The home fries were exceptional.. as exceptional as any other home fry you'll get on the Pigeon Forge strip. And why? They'll all the same refrigerated chips of processed mess. Soggy, not even crisp. So poor you'd hope the microwave would add additional flavors from all the other food they microwaved. I wouldn't even praise the food if paid me, it's sad enough i paid IT to taste like wet squeaky boots. But anyways the atmosphere was just bewildering! They have a big exhibit with birds you can watch. Sometimes they're loud and a bit squawk-y but it doesn't deplete the experience. This is my internal conflict with a certain drink on the menu. The Monster. This satanic abomination soup of a beverage really tempted me. I drink energy drinks and was excited to try a Monster! I mean.. we're all a little adventurous deep down.. human nature! Wrong. Apparently.. With full fledged confidence.. as much as you'd expect at a busy bar playing BINGO.. I asked the waitress for a Monster energy drink. Big. Mistake. I get it.. I took an unsuspecting picture of the beast waiting.. opened it.. and took a sip. If you were to ask me, giving somebody a pedicure with your MOUTH would taste no different than a can of this monstrosity. Maybe I recommend the restaurant.. but I don't recommend the Monster. Go a few feet further to Split Rail Eats, you won't regret it! Although the food came out cold, I will say the potatoes, BLT, potato salad and tavern toast were good. But they were all cold. I don't enjoy cold eggs or bacon so they were just a waste of money :/ Paying $50 for a BLT, Tavern Toast adding Eggs, getting our own drinks AND tipping 15% for them to take 35 minutes to deliver our food to us cold IMHO, isn't the characteristics of restaurant I'd promote to others. Had they stated they left it in the window too long and needed to make it fresh and we'd have to wait another 5-10, I'd be leaving a different review. We don't complain, that's why we didn't say anything at the time. We get things get busy and forgotten. Our food was definitely served cold so it was either intentionally left or forgotten. Either way, I don't ask for refunds for this reason. I share my experiences and let others decide how to vote with their wallets and choices. I'm not rude and demand to be refunded. I just don't function like that. Also no one ever asked if our food was good or we would've said something God Bless.
