We ordered the Meat Sweats plate with ribs and pulled pork and sides of deviled eggs potato salad and baked beans with bacon. Everything was great, fresh, and had a ton of flavor. Didn't love the corn bread, but that just comes down to preference (I like my corn bread cake-y and sweet whereas this was kind of a dense pound cake consistency.) Would absolutely recommend! So today was my third time eating here and I am continually blown away by how good it is. Some things I've tried: - The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. - Pulled Pork and Brisket was flavorful and juicy. - The Texas Twinkies blew me away. We were driving around in the rain and ended up in this plaza. It was either senza or the bbq place and I'm with a bunch of meat lovers so we chose smokies The place looks very homey and the smell of the grill is just very welcoming. I started my meal by ordering the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and they were very delicious, coated with bbq sauce and a mayonnaise based dip. The flavors compliment each very well and having a very delicious combination. For my meal I ordered the Classic Smasher and there's a choice between 1-3 patties that you can choose. I was very impressed with how fast the food came and that it's an open kitchen so you get to see the cook make your burgers. My friends got the Mac Stack and Cheese and the Brisket Mac and Cheese bowl and they were both satisfied with their order. Delicious barbecue. I got the sampler platter for 29.99. It came with pulled pork pulled chicken sliced brisket smoked sausage ribs and wings and two sides with a piece of cornbread. It was a good way to try all of the different smoked meats. The collards with bacon are excellent. You get to choose one sauce. I chose the Smokey sweet sauce which was excellent. My only complaint is the container holds about 2 ounces of barbecue sauce and for $30 I thought we should get at least two containers. read more

Went for the first time today. It's hard to find a good BBQ spot up here and these are the best ribs I've had in NJ, probably North of the Mason-Dixon Line if I'm being honest. Great smoke ring, super flavorful. Definitely check this place out if you want some authentic smoked ribs. They are definitely a little pricey (over $30 for a full rack) not sure if that is because of pandemic supply chain issues or something else. Food is mediocre at best. I ordered and was charged ($5) for the banana pudding but they were out so they offered to give me churros ($3) on their menu.
