Stopped by for lunch with my $25 gift card. I was greeted and helped immediately, the person who helped me made sure to stay within my $25 budget and managed to even offer parmesan, ranch etc which I had forgotten to ask abt. That was a plus!! Aside from the friendly service and great atmosphere! The person who helped me was Ryan, he was very kind and went above and beyond for me. I asked for the WiFi password and he didn't know it but he went and got me the WiFi password as well as napkins! The food was alright, I got a personal cheese pizza with a drink. The pizza was tasty, but I loved the crispiness of the crust! They have a handful of delicious items on their menu. I'll have to come back again soon. They even have a bar and a big room for large groups!!!

Good pizza. Crust has that Parmesan cheese baked in. $25 for a large
Hmmmmm O.

Still pretty good but we both agree the pizza sauce is too sweet so we probably won't get pizza there anymore. I ordered a Caesar salad that was only ok. Could've used garlic and a splash of Worcestershire and more lemon in the dressing though. The croutons were just teeny tiny white bread squares. No flavor. I ordered a side of anchovies for my salad and they arrived in hardened oil. See pic. Service was great though.

Delicious pizza

I found this place while on my way to another lunch spot. Had never heard of it, but apparently…read moreit's been here for 20 years tucked away in this little shopping center area. The current chef has had it operational for five years. Tons of great parking, even up to the front door. It's tiny when you initially walk in with about eight tables, but they recently expanded next-door so it should open up. The ambience is relaxing with background music from Sinatra and other swooners. You really wanna settle in for some good long conversation here. Everything was immaculate. You could tell that they really take care to ensure cleanliness is first and foremost. The menu is easy to read and very reasonably priced. I asked for the daily special and the server, who had a great attitude and warm personality, shared they had a turkey and bacon club with basil pesto, tomato and other goodies on an in-house made focaccia. All of it is lightly toasted and warm when it arrives. I ordered it with a side of fries, but it also comes with a salad or soup. This amazing sandwich did not disappoint in any way. The ratio of meat to accompaniments to spread and bread were perfect. The bread was not too thick. The basil pesto was not excessive. The meat was perfectly toasted. The size of the sandwich is enough to fill any appetite from small to large. It was in fact the best sandwich I've had in years. Recall from my bio that I was a chef and I had a deli where I made sandwiches that were award-winning. I have to admit, I had nothing on my menu that could even come close to this delicious sandwich. It seems pretty simple to be able to put some meat and spread on a nice bread and heat it, but this went beyond simple. The flavor profile hit on all cylinders. I ordered the fries and they too were perfect. Hot and crispy with just enough garlic, and Parmesan to taste it, but not overwhelm it. I cannot say enough about this meal. Between the service, the delicious food, and the ambience, this is now my go to place for lunch. I urge you to take some time to get to the Stuffed Olive in Eagle Idaho and experience what this chef is doing for this community and it's starving foodies.

WILL BE CLOSING FOR GOOD ON JUNE 27, 2025. See owner's gracious farewell notice inserted below…read more If you want to bid farewell to Stuffed Olive you have another 3 weeks to do it. The good news in the sad news is that this will be turned over to a father / daughter team who will open a new concept here. The maybe not so good news is that in a community awash in chain restaurants on this side of Boise, I think the concept mentioned, Potholder Cafe, is a small California based chain. "To our dear Stuffed Olive Family: a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community. After 20 wonderful years, The Stuffed Olive is closing its doors on Friday, June 27th. This is a bittersweet moment for us. Running a restaurant like The Stuffed Olive has been our life's passion and our greatest joy; but it also has demanded everything we have and more. After pouring our hearts and souls into this beloved establishment for so many years, it's time for us to take a step back, to breathe, and to discover what's next. Most importantly, it's time for us to be truly present for ourselves and for our family. The Restaurant space is being handed over to a wonderful Father/Daughter team who are excited to start a new chapter in our space. They intend to bring their concept: The Potholder Cafe, a breakfast and lunch eatery into the Eagle dining scene. Alongside their new recipes will be some old favorites from the TSO menu. We're grateful that the legacy of TSO being a locally-owned, family-run space will continue with this new duo. Your unyielding support has meant the world to us, and we are so grateful for every laugh, every meal, and every memory shared within these walls. Thank you for making The Stuffed Olive more than just a restaurant. We will carry these moments with us forever. Cheers one last time, The Stuffed Olive Team

A reservation was made and we made our way in Saturday to celebrate. My husband and I were late arriving cause of work. But my family and friends got drinks and apps started. I wasn't expecting them to wait but I'm happy that they did! The drinks and apps kept them at bay till we arrived. The venue is stunning! I love the decor here. I have always been intrigued with European vintage decor and this restaurant is beautifully devoted decorated with this kind of esthetic. Such a romantic setting. The rich deep red wall. The ornate vintage frames. The plants. It's truly a beautiful set up. After my husband and I got settled in and drinks ordered, we got dinner placed. I got 2 orders of meatballs and my husband got the seafood pasta. While food was being worked on, everyone shared the bread and balsamic olive oil dip that was on the table. I heard the bread was good. I didn't get a chance to try it since it was communal. Our meals were slowly trickling out. My meatballs looked amazing! My husband's plate looked fabulous. You can see the shrimp, mussels, clams.... We all became quiet and started on our meals. My meatballs were huge! I have had meatballs at other restaurants and have been hungry still. The size of these babies let me know I was not going to have that issue. It was nicely covered in marinara. A hearty covering of parmesan. Everything about the meatballs were great! I have severe fomo so of course I had to try my husband's plate. I tried a couple of his penne. I was really thrown back at the heat of the sauce. I tried another bite and it was still spicy. The spice was something neither one of us were expecting. Before I say anything to our server, I did look over the menu to see if we missed anything in the description of the dish. No chili was listed. Nothing about it being garnished with chili flakes. From reading the menu, no spice was described in the dish. My husband has a real sensitive pallet so I asked the manager/owner why spice wasn't indicted in the menu. We wouldn't have ordered it if there was. The manager said they can remove the sauce and add new sauce that didn't have chili flakes in it. "It would make it less spicy." I was actually surprised he didn't suggest a new dish that didn't have heat in it. We were complaining about the heat and I honestly don't think replacing sauce that has spice in it with new sauce with spice will do anything.... but hey, we went with it. The second dish was made and dropped off. Unfortunately, the sauce was still spicy and my husband could barely eat it. He ate the seafood which was a few pieces of shrimp, clams, bay scallops, mussels and fish. This dish was drowned in this sauce so there was no way to eat the seafood with the sauce. This dish is 34 bucks and my husband could barely finish the seafood. Our server was kind and got me birthday dessert. The chocolate cake was killer good! It wasn't overly sweet. The frosting was rich in chocolate and the cake was super moist. I only took a couple bites and took the rest home. I was not going to leave this bad boy behind. We spent a little over 70 dollars on dinner to have my husband leave hungry. I came home and made him a second dinner. Nothing more disappointing than spending that much money just to come home and eat again. Money is tight for everyone so the fact that we chose to come here and spend our heard earned money to have my husband hungry just makes my heart sad. Overall, my meatballs and cake were good. Service was great. The venue is very pretty. But, having my husband eat a meal that was poorly described in the menu is just disappointing and having him leave husband is upsetting. I'm happy I got to try it out but I don't think we will be hitting up this joint again any time soon.

The last time I ate here, I really enjoyed our meal so I knew I was in store for a good lunch. I arrived first. I hung out for a bit. Raylyn (sp) greeted me and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I had a flavored water so I content for the moment. My friend finally showed up shortly after. We got started on the foccacia bread and olive oil/balsamic dip. The bread was good but it wasn't warm like the previous time. It was nicely seasoned and buttery on top. The olive oil/balsamic dip is so good with it! We breezed over the menu while we were enjoying the bread. Raylyn came and took our order. We ordered some fried mozzarella to share. For lunch I got a side of meatballs and my friend got the chicken parm on pasta with a side salad. The fried mozzarella was so good! The piece of mozzarella that was fried was so thick! I had a fourth of one of the cheesesticks. I didn't want to get too full when I still had meatballs coming. My meatballs were so good! It was generously covered in their marinara sauce. It was rich in tomato with a slight heat to it, so good! My friend's chicken parm pasta was a generous portion! I probably could have made 3 meals off of his plate. He enjoyed the chicken of course and had some of the pasta. We couldn't end lunch without some birthday dessert so my friend got some cannolis started. This is my first time trying a cannoli and woooooow! It was so good! The cream in the middle had a orange flavor to it with some chocolate chips. The exterior of the cannoli was crunchy and sweet. The ends were dipped in semi sweet chocolate and was so good! I probably could have polished 2 more but I was so full from lunch. Next time I'm going to just have the bread and cannolis. That dessert was perfection. Lunch was fabulous today. Our food and dessert were divine. Raylyn did a marvelous job taking care of us! She was kind, attentive and is great at customer service. I can't stop thinking of those cannolis and I look forward to coming back soon to have some more!

That is a good thing for the new young owners who bought this business. Whether the former owners are still involved in any way, I do not know except to say they were seen dining in there on at least one occasion since the change happened. Since there are enough of us who had all around miserable experiences with the previous owners and said "never again", this comment is for others know that now is the time to come back. The ownership transition seems to have happened sometime after November of last year. If you check the website you'll see the "about" part of it is still about Vincenzo. I recommend the new owners change that to indicate this young couple is now at the helm. The menu, largely pasta, is about the same and with price points running from roughly $23 to $27 for them. Antipasti (cold and hot) start at about $13 for a salad to $23 for fried calamari and shrimp. The owner mentions that they plan to put the pizza oven in the space (see my long ago taken photo) to work as a pizza oven. (To now in the old ownership days it was used to finish bread.) Additions are also planned for for the menu. You will still need a reservation. The access problems from before are the same now. But the entire vibe of the place under the new ownership clearly including a skilled chef, will refresh your appetite to eat at this trattoria if it was ruined by the previous owners.

That is the description of what I ordered for their handmade fresh pasta rigatoni that I got. Let me just say that all these flavors that they put into one dish were absolutely amazing. She was drawn to this location not only due the reviews but that they had the option of accommodating those with dietary restrictions. We were all excited to be there for the food but to also celebrate her. Booking the tables was quite an ordeal, but we managed. Unfortunately, at last minute, she learned that two members of her family that were supposed to attend, elected not to. As she did not find out until later in the day, she would not have been able to provide adequate time to contact them to let them now of the changes. I do want to share that overall, the experience was fantastic. Justin was a great server and the food and drinks were delicious. We did not get pictures of everything, but we ordered the following: Bucatini alle Vongole, Rigatoni, Blood Orange Bellini, (non-alcoholic) Limoncello Spritz, Lemon-Raspberry Tiramisu, and Pistachio Florentine Cannoli. I checked in with the others in our party, and they also indicated that the food was fantastic and the service wonderful. The concern we had was how some of our party was treated. This occurred on the evening on Friday, May 8, 2026. As mentioned, two members of her family elected not to join at the last minute. My friend and her wife relayed this to the hostess. My friend offered to try to squeeze into the booth with her other family members. The hostess then looked her and her family members up and down (with her face distorted in judgement), and said "you can try." My friend and her wife elected to sit at another table with two of her friends leaving the other table that had been reserved available (which was filled within 20 minutes by another party). This hostess then went over to the table where my friend is sitting and places her hand on the table, but I could not discern what was said. I find that type of behavior abhorrent. It is not only distasteful, but also makes patrons wonder if that is how this restaurant, this business, is run. If she is the first person you encounter, the face of this restaurant, the first impression - it does not bode well. There are some that may read this and think I am exaggerating, but I did note earlier, that the rest of our service was wonderful and the food divine. I do hope that whoever at the restaurant does monitor these reviews, really takes this feedback into consideration as I am sure that they do not want to be known as a space that shames patrons.
